ive had a s15 and a fd, cant really compare the 2 as fd is far superior! i was in the process of selling up my 180s and jeep to get a clean daily just a vs or something and bring in a fd, but now drama's with the jeep so swapping 1 of my 180s for a 32 n still slling the other, hopefully back in2 a fd in the near future mind u i still havent had a gtr yet need to find a spare 45-50K for a decent 34 gtr

any low K FD will be reliable! if not get a 60-70K km fd for cheaper n rebuild the engine, a friend is running a ric shaw built engine and hks to4z animal of a car n set up for track work! altho evo 8's are awsome cars! hehe so many choices and waaaaaaaaay off having enough money

if ya know ppl to import you can bring in a version 6 (theres 6 versions of the fd i think its only aus we call them s6/7/8) fd for around 30K (can only bring in fd made after sept 99) also evo8's are similar in price i miss my fd nothing better looking for the price on the road! make sure you get a RS not a RB i have found a few low K 20-40K km's version 8 (2000-02) models for around 20-24K in japan add the norm of 5-7K of bullshit to get it on the road here!

i used to have my s6 and also s15 insured with famous classic cars but then when i went to renew they said they had stopped, its good to hear they are back as u can pay monthly unlike just cars and most other insurers!

stagea egine is the same as a 33 engine and what do u mean with the auto boxs being a strong or interchangable with a GTR which are all manual.. i think anyone stupid enough to put a auto in their GTR doesnt deserve a GTR with the bits missing u would be lucky to get 2K for the engine, and well only ppl with stuffed auto's would buy a auto box but i wouldnt think a auto box be worth anymore then a 4-500

the rims are nice but not to my liking im more with the jap styling, i woulda gone 8f 9r minimum with around a +25 offset, the 4 doors look a lot better with no rear wing! if ihad a black 4 door i woulda gone shadow vs kf 18x 8.6 18x9.5 in around a +20 offset mmm perfection

250 is rather big power man considering your sounding like a newish guy to the scene, both rb and sr would be almost a timebomb at those power levels, all depends on how lucky u got engine wise, i currently have 2 180's i prefer reliability over power i had 1 tuned making 180rwkw but car is fully stripped but this is still enough to hold 4th gear slides! other car is making 210... all depends what you really want the car for? on comparison i had a ca 180 making around 130rwkw and this was still quick enough to beat a 5.7 ss to 150kph p.s both my 180's are for sale
