I have a 1993 32 gtr which previous owner claims it was a v spec. anyone know how I can tell if this is the case?

My 32 gtr starts and runs excellent when its cold, but as soon as it get's hot say maybe 10mins into driving it feels like it drops a cylinder and runs rough as hell. It blows black smoke when it does this, and continues for about 10mins then clears up, then goes back to the same thing. Ive changed the plugs and the coil packs, was thinking it could possibly be the igniter. Has anyone come accross this problem before?

Hi, New to the forum and new to skylines. Have just bought a 93 32 gtr and am looking at replacing the coilpacks. Called Autobahn to get a price and apparently there are two types for the RB26. Can anyone tell me if this is correct and how I can tell what type I need before I go ordering. Also if someone knows a better supplier than Autobahn would be much appreciated. I live in Darwin so my options are limited as to where I can get them from. cheers
