  4. Hi all, I have for sale a 6Boost exhaust manifold with T4 split-pulse suited to an RB26 - it will fit anything from a T04Z to a GT45R. Also comes with a Turbosmart 50mm external 'gate. Near new - only been on car for 1000k's max. Cost $2000, selling for $1300, reason for selling - upgraded turbo/gate/6boost... Pics are of manifold - it's heatwrapped at the moment obviously, but manifold condition underneath is mint. Don't have pics of the gate as yet, however it's in excellent condition too. Enquires, please ring me on 0409 304 104 or PM me on SAU! Cheers...

  8. It's on THIS SATURDAY people! And, it's shaping up to be a fantastic event/day!! Also, we will be giving away copies of the 2009 JAMBOREE DVD!!!!! Provided they arrive on time, this will pretty much be the first time in Oz that they are available! For those who can't make it, go to www.upbeatwebcasting.com.au to view it from the comfort of your own home...
  9. It's simple - pay $55 and register BEFORE the day, either deposit the money into our account or, yes, you can pop into the workshop and pay - save $20 this way! Or, pay and register on the day - $75 Still plenty of 'Oh, I'm definitely entering' people but only a handful have paid. Your spot is not secured until you pay!! On saying that, there will most likely be spots still available on the day...
  10. Correct!! Or you're welcome to just drop $55 cash into our workshop as well if that's easier. I monitor the bank account every day so can obviously see the cash coming in - make sure you put your name beside the transaction and that will secure you a spot...
  11. ^^ not all the cars are "hectic" lol! We welcome any cars, any power and encourage anything with smaller power to still enter!!! It will be an awesome event!
  12. After (attempting) to race my 32 @ Jamboree with just under 500rwhp (365rwkw), I now have a fair dinkum answer to my above question. It went something like this: 1st run - cleaned snapped both cv shafts on the launch with MT Street Radials, 2nd run (after replacing both shafts with spares) - cleaned snapped both cv shafts again and twisted both stub axles (half shafts) ON STREET TYRES IN 2ND GEAR!! Dammit! So, anyone out there with similiar power/torque/driveline be aware - this will happen to you!
  13. yup.... considering that's the turbo I've got! And, assuming you're guna get similiar power plus similiar clutch/gearbox/tailshaft set-up to mine! Have fun with it!! Lol!
  14. It's got a Kaaz 2-way. So, team that with a twin-plate, RB25DET 'box with PAR gearset (1st - 4th gears), big 1-piece tailshaft with biggest uni's I could fit and 500-odd rwhp and you have major problems with standard shafts and cv's as there is no 'give' in the rest of the driveline. My r/h half shaft was longer than my l/h too... I broke 2 x cv shafts @ Jamboree on MT street radials on the launch, put spare ones in, went out again with the street tyres on this time (18's) and snapped 2 more plus twisted the half shafts in 2nd gear (not even on the launch). Damn frustrating to say the least, didn't get to run my 10! I have to take it easy in it 'til the GTR cradle goes in and even then we're not sure how long the shafts are guna last with street tyres, let alone slicks! All fun and games...
  15. I had this problem - popped the r/h half shaft out and snapped both cv shafts in half all at once. Attempted to get the half back in whilst diff was still in the car but it just wouldn't go! Removed the l/h half shaft (which was extremely tight and difficult to remove) and diff out of the car, put it on its side and tried to get the shafts back in but still to no avail - the l/h shaft wouldn't go back in either. Had a squiz at both the shafts and they didn't 'appear' to be twisted. Got 2 new cv shafts and the wreckers sent me 2 half's as well so we tried them and they slipped straight in without any effort at all, just a light little tap or two. The c'clip on the r/h shaft was located inside the diff and the l/h clip was on the shaft for the record. So, my problem with this was that I had actually twisted both the half shafts and that's why they wouldn't go back in. My solution to this problem is to get a complete GTR rear cradle and bolt it in!! Or, spend big bucks and get custom shafts and stubs made...
  16. I'm looking at putting a complete R32 GTR rear cradle into my R32 GTS-t but need to know whether the wheel track is wider or not. I'm getting conflicting answers! Can people who have done this conversion please give me an answer!! Thanks!
  17. Has anyone got their modified R32 GTS-t covered for third party property fire & theft or just third party property? If so, which insurance company???!!!
  18. Dunno about you loom question as I'm getting my whole Microtech LT12s wired up completely. As for your 'easy conversion' question - if you are putting a standard RB25 in it will fit perfectly with no problems at all. If you are putting on an aftermarket plenum (like my Greddy one) you have to move the master cylinder along about 1 inch. There are a couple of other fiddly bits but so far everything is coming together fine. And I'm guessing you are putting in a 25 gearbox? Well, you will have to make up/modify your gearbox crossmember as it doesn't fit and you will have to get an RB25 slave cylinder as well. Don't know about the speedo as my conversion is about 3/4 finished but I believe we have to get a Nissan Navara speedo head? There are heaps of topics on here regarding the conversion........
  19. Drop in an R33 GTR rear cradle and a 1 piece tailshaft with the biggest uni's you can get and you will have basically a bulletproof driveline that will handle over 500rwkw - that's what I'm doing!
