Accommodation for Fuji best place is Gotemba as about 20 mins by shuttle bus to the track and by car about 15mins. All types of accommodation depending on budget. Easy to get from Tokyo to Gotemba by train. I'm thinking of setting up a quick tour package and running a shuttle van from Tokyo via Gotemba to the track. Tsukuba..aka s#$t hole you can get good business hotels for quite reasonable price or drive from Tokyo as takes about 1 hr. I'm heading back to Japan for business and Janese F1 and work on my house soon and will be having talks with Nismo and few other companies re setting a possible tour. Anyone needing help with accommo let me know as am member on Japanese accomodation companies and can get good prices. Also will be buying up tickets for pit walks, track bus drives etc as they usually go on sale in Japan only first Sunday and November and they sell out like hot cakes so whatever I get my hands on it will be a first come first serve basis. Anyone interested in a tour group let me know what you would be interested in seeing and doing and I'll see what I can put together. Basically I'll book all accommo, transport and pick up and drop off at the airport, drive to and fro to wherever e.g workshops, auto part shops and all anyone has to do is book flight tickets but I'm having a chat to Jetstar re a group booking. Also can sort any parts people may want to purchase and help with sending back to Oz.

Are the sub frames in good nick and non accident damage ?? Also no rust ?? and how much for them. I'm about 20 mins from Nerang so if ok be keen to have a look at them plus shocks. I'm just after bare subframes as dont need brakes etc. Cheers Marcus

Ok it was confirmed last week that Nismo Festival will be on this year December 1st at Fuji Speedway. Book ya tickets as Tsukuba time attack is usually the following Friday. Anyone want help booking hotels , cars etc , give us a yell as I can help sort out via Japan booking and save some coin. Sorry been under the pump with some Uni study The Led bulbs are not cheap as these are good quality but looking around $28 a set for SAU members. They are plug and play.

If your just chasing replacement led bulbs I can get get these which are a 24SMD bulb in Red or White.

Chris you forgot to say " be prepared to pull down your pants and get a good rogering". Not saying that will happen but it can ! Customs can be a lottery but with a good broker and good exporter who has all paperwork in order it should all be easy peasy. Bit of paperwork not quite right could see parts sitting on the dock storage incurring fees whilst paperwork is sorted.

You should put this on the UK Skyline forum as there is a lot more desire for them as there are multiple F-con tuners throughout Europe hence the units are popular.

I reckon if there is no info out by end of this month - mid August at the latest then you can pretty much say it ain't happening. I check the Nismo Japanese blog quite and there hasn't been boo said about it as yet. An alternative and in my opinion way better event is the annual GTR Magazines "R"'s Festival which happens at Fuji Speedway every September. It's way more laid back event with loads of Top Tuners bringing out there cars plus the average Tanaka and Watanabes cars. Easy access to pit area to view cars, talk to tuners blah blah blah. Honestly way better than Nismo if you want to go to Japan to rare and tuned cars. The car park can easily chew up a big amount of the day having a gawk. Well worth checking out.

Qest use the highest quality leds available in Japan hence it reflects on their price. The lifetime on them is extremely long and highest quality. They use the genuine Nissan housings fully refurbished and highest quality electronic parts available. I know the owner well and if anything he goes overkill on making these.
