  1. Interesting, I'll have a go at the battery earth and see how it goes. Its a funny fault, coz sometimes its fine and other times even with just the lights on the 4wd fails
  2. Where were the earths you found? Yeah, mine does the same with the windows ><
  3. Have adjusted it to 0.5, still faults with lights on
  4. Code was 21, throttle sensor or circuit.
  5. OK, Been having ongoing problems with the 4wd system in my R32 Gtr. Normally, everything is fine. Lights on and pressing brake pedal bring the 4wd light on. Checked ecu in the boot, 21 flashes. Recently I got hold of a pfc hand controller, checked the tps signal. Was around 0.60v While checking, I noticed that the tps voltage would go up when the lights were on and when brake pedal was pressed, i'm assuming that's not right. Could be a grounding fault? Anyone else had a fault like this?
  6. Hey, interested in the kit, where you located? Cheers -Michael-
  7. Have paid today, will fax paperwork tomorrow the 180 will have its forst day at Texi!
  8. Hey All, I'm after an R32 GTR brake master cylinder, anyone able to help me out? Prefer sydney area so I can pick up and fix today as the GTR is my daily Cheers Michael
  9. Howdy, Installed a Extreme TSC a while back and not really sure if its working correctly. The 2wd switch works but as far as I can see the dial dosn't do anything. Also i seem to have lost the instructions so I cant check if I did it right. Does anyone have a copy of the instructions I can look at? And when using the dial, does it influence the front torque gauge? Cheers -Michael-
  10. Hi, for a while I've had a vibration that you can feel through the steering and through the car. It's gotten worse recently. Completley goes away when I turn left. Noise and vibration gets worse the faster I'm going and if 4wd kicks in it gets alot worse Wheel bearings don't seem to have play, slight play in steering rack Been told the wheel bearings can be noisy but not have play? Anyone have any ideas? Cheers
  11. Hi all, Have some rust on my rear quarter, anyone recomend a place that can repair it? I'm around the ryde/parramatta area Cheers
  12. I had the factory ones replaced ages ago, didn't think about dumps back then >< I'll keep dumps in mind for next time
  13. Thanks, I'd like dump pipes, but thought its a turbo out job to fit them? Or is it just a bitch to fit without removing the turbos?
  14. Hi All, Just got a HKS front pipe for my 32 GTR. Inlets look alot bigger than the factory ones, so i'm wondering if the front pipes will fit on the standard GTR dump pipes? If not, can I just make an adapter to fit? Cheers
  15. Ok, Trying to run 15 psi, the turbos were installed when the ones on the car when I bought it died. I have an apexi power intake, hks super dragger cat back, factory dumps and an x force cat
  16. I've done that, and it runs the same 8psi @ 4k If thats the case, does that mean I need a stronger actuator spring?
  17. OK, i'll take a look at the actuators on the weekend, hope they can be adjusted without removing too much I'm pretty sure the install is correct, there are 2 lines, one for actuators another from manifold. Boosts to target, just takes too long, old controller did the same thing, that's why I replaced it, thought the unit was faulty. On the note of take it to a pro, can you recommend someone? Thanks for the input
  18. Not sure about the actuators, was done by someone else. Can they be setup differently?
  19. ok, I'm running a pair of Garrett GT 2860 - 7's in my GTR, and i'm getting full boost are 6k, which is way too high in the rev range. I currently had a Gizzmo MSIbc installed, and I have tried a manual controller and its still lagging. I fitted the factory boost control solenoid and it ran 8 psi @ 4k which is about right. Anyone else had a problem with excess lag in a GTR? Or have any idea why its lagging so much? Mate suggested that the wastegates are opening too early, if this is the case can I restrict them somehow? Any suggestions welcome -Michael-
  20. So it looks looks like the standard radiator fan is on its last legs so I was thinking of getting thermo fans put in. Anyone know of any places that provide and fit thermo fans around the Sydney area? Or places that just sell the fans. Cheers -Michael-
  21. Ol so I have an awful exhaust leak, pretty sure it's coming from the exhaust manifold, as I've changed front pipe gaskets last week and had new turbos and gaskets fitted around a year ago. So I'd like to know, do you have to completly remove the turbos to get the manifold off, or can you slide the manifold back enough to get the gasket on and off? Any help is appreciated
  22. Hi All, Fitted an a/f gauge the other day and after fitting it and driving around for a while I noticed that whenever I switched the headlights on, or used the power mirrors the gauge reading would jump to "rich" Tested the gauge power and earth, both were ok Checked the signal wire, and it was the one causing the problem. Had a look at where the o2 sensor wires plug into the ecu and there are some weird wires there. Running of each o2 sensor wire is another wire that connects the 2 sensor wires together, where they join 2 wires come out. One goes back into the ecu and the other runs up the wiring loom and out of sight. Any idea that they'd be used for? Would to be safe to cut the bridging wires? Could the bridging of the wire be causing the signal to change? Any help appreciated -Michael-
  23. "ShinySilverDragon has no profile comments yet. Why not say hello?"

    Hello :)

  24. Hi All, Looking for a carbon exhaust shroud, to fit a 32 Gtr. I've seen other cars with them, not sure what they are called or where to get them. Anyone know what i'm talking about, or where I can get one? Cheers -Michael-
  25. Ok, heard this crazy idea that you can use twin Rb25 afm's in a GTR and they perform better than the standard GTR units. Is this right? Do you have to change anything, or do you just plug them in? I'm maxing my standard afm's, and its a pain the the butt to put Z32's in as they are physically bigger and you have to splice the wiring. So would be alot easier and cheaper if I could use Rb25 afms. Cheers -Michael-
