Well thats interesting to kno, that could well be the cause of my knock readings goin so high

wher bouts are the knock microphone's located on the block? would like to see if ther is anything loose that could cause the knock reading. My car seems to not to bad on smooths roads like sometimes i wont get knock at all but wen i go over bumps boosting thats wen i seem to get high knock reading

+1 on the spiggot bearing mine also makes that whigning noise, its a pain in the ass cause u hav to take the box off just to put in a $5 part, as for the stalling would hav thout it was just the stock ecu mine used to stall wen i put a aftermarket bov on ther but ran fine wen i block it off. so i would just unblock it see how u go

i just had my 33gtst tuned last week mods: pfc, fmic, cat back, walbro 500hp fp, 11.5psi made 191.5rwkw but mind you it was 37degrees felt bit sluggish goes alot better on cooler day so i reakon car would hav round 200 and cold day

hey all recently had a pfc installed in my 33 gtst, now wen my car is at full boost and usually around 6200rpm the engine light will flash on and off which i kno is the power fc sensing a knock over 60, it doesnt always do it tho. I took it back to the tuner and he said that he has done a real safe tune (191rwkw) and did a couple more power runs to make sure, and sed coz my car has done round the 170,oookm that is prob just something elses knockin/loose in engine and engine is not at detenation. oh and i hav seen the knock go over 100. Car mods: pfc, fmic, 3.5cat back, walbro pump, pod filter, platnium plugs. Any help would be appreciated cheers jarad

Hey all, a noise started comin from my gearbox just the other day its like a whining noise sounds like a gilma put ur foot down it starts to whine quicker lol put the clutch in and it goes away, it is not the thrust bearing as i just put a new clutch and thrust bearing in and hav drivin like 1500km's on it, my mate reakons there is another part on opposite side to the tb, its like a $6 part or something but im unsure. Its an r33 s1 by the way anyone hav any clues of wat it could be i am planning on pulling the box off next week so i can sort it out do u reakon i am doin my car any damage driving like it is cheers jarad

go into the general maintence bit and type in r33 fuse box translation something like that, did it just yesterday and was able to print a sheet off it shows u wat fuses are wat in english simple

Ok so i believe the problem is a really sensitive afm, the other day i decided to change my pod and try and run a different setup like normal skylines pod straight off afm but the car ran real shit its like it fuels up goes no where so i put the other setup bak on but it still wont run 100% its fine between 3-5rpm makes normal power but after that it runs bad until just before 7 then it kicks again. Spinning the afm meter round makes it better but sometimes worse, its like a dizzy you know how u spin it slighty to get it just rite well thats wat it seems like im doin with the afm i am stuck and sick of pulling over adjusting, boostin pulling over etc.. (and its not the afm already tried that) im hopin someone has had this problem or can help me solve it, its fking me off as before i touched it it ran fine oh and its a 33 gtst s1. ok so i spoke to shaun at boostworx today and hav decided to get a remapped z32 ecu as he sed it is bout as good as power fc, the fc just has the hand controller which gives it a small advantage. Speedlab never got bak to me so i spose its his loss and my gain as i will end up with something a lil better in my opion

ok well that simplifies things i shall see how i go with the remap cheers guys, helped out alot

^^^^ lol, well i wouldnt spend 1500-2000 on a power fc and tune to get f*#k all results thats just wasting money. Mods i hav are fmic, 500hp fp, 3.5 catback, pod filter, platnium plugs, suspected highflow running 10-12psi mayb others but unsure. I kno that 220kw's seem high for mods, i hav copped heaps of shit from mates bout this so dont bothering telling me but its not like i asked the dyno to give me a high reading lol

F@*k now i dont kno wat to do lol, spoke to speedlab today he was gona remap a rb20 ecu and tune for 550, last dyno i had my car got 220rwkw at turbo tune (same dyno speedlab uses) which he said was good usually 33's make near that mark with remap. Im now thinking just buy power fc and i should be able to get more power out of my car. Dont really want to spend 550 to get similiar power would be pointless. Wher do u get power fc's from and how much? anyone kno how much boostworx charged to tune and install one??

I dont think speed lab does rb25's he is a specialist at rb20's went to take it to him before, so who will tune my car on a saturday and can do a half decent tune with stock ecu?? I would like to do it this weekend if possible cheers

Well i think it was u then didnt hav big zorst or nothing but sounded tuff as and the turbo def had a diff spooling noise to a stocka, well done on the sleeper approach coz u def fooled me lol

spotted DSTROY and ENR34 down anzacz last nite tuff cars they were a few other lines aswell i was in the grey 33 white rims joined them for a bit. Hey cubes is ur car the black 32 with 32gtr rims?? I thout that car sounded like it had external gate and different turbo, a hell sleeper if it was ur car
