  1. Nice thread dig, Terry! All the way back from 2002!!!
  2. In the mean time, peoples, you should all be signing up for the Show n Shine, if you haven't already! It's on Sunday December 13th, and there'll be plenty of time there to admire at least 100 and quite possibly more other Skylines and Nissans, talk about and compare mods, socialise in general, and relax in the company of other enthusiasts! It's only TEN BUCKS, after all...
  3. Pizza sounds pretty good to me too. It's apparently gonna be another scorcher tomorrow - I hope this place is at least partly undercover, Craig!!!
  4. The area we are using is ALL under-cover, so the only way anyone should get wet is when they're arriving or leaving...
  5. Get a few bottles of Octane booster just in case you can't find 98 RON fuel at any point - with that and the jerry cans, you should be good to go.
  6. I'm in, but not sure how long I'll be staying. I know I won't be cruising afterwards, but... Looking good, Craig!
  7. Spotted Levi in his N/A 26/30-powered R31 this afternoon on Old Windsor Road in Toongabbie...
  8. Yep, form has been faxed too...
  9. Hey Tenchi, great shots mate! It was good to meet you out at Wakie, and I look forward to seeing more of your photos here on SAU.
  10. I spotted a Maserati GT convertible last night on the Central Coast highway while I was on the way to the regular Coastie meet-up, and this afternoon I spotted an Aston Martin fuelling up at Caltex on the corner of Powers and Station Roads in Seven Hills.
  11. Duncan has towed his GT-R race car to Melbourne and back before at least once, and that plus spares must be roughly 1500kg plus the weight of the Stagea itself. As long as all your fluids are clean and fresh, the brakes and tyres are in good condition, and you take all precautions to keep the car running as cleanly as possible (transmission and engine oil coolers are definitely a good idea).
  12. Stu, your cheque and forms were received and handed to Duncan last night. Everyone else, we'll be doing a list soon with details - it's hard because there are a few people checking the SAU account, and other people receiving the forms either in the mail or via fax, so please give it a bit of time so we can co-ordinate it all and make sure we're giving you the correct information...
  13. Tom, what I was talking about was the update to the one you own, not the new cars. Your version has the "boomerang" style lights: The update had the same body, but with the boring tail-lights. They look ordinary, but were probably a whole lot cheaper to manufacture:
  14. We're closing entries 1 week before, at the VERY latest... The beauty of this: it's only TEN BUCKS to enter!
  15. Happy birthday, Tangles!
  16. C'mon peoples, your car doesn't have to be show-car quality, it just has to represent you and all that you love about it! The key here is participation - I'd love to see as many of you there as possible! Please don't leave your entries until the last moment, either - we, the organisers, need as much time as possible to sort out all the details so we can figure out where we're going to place everyone at the grounds.
  17. LOL! Danny, if the 21st is the go, why are we waiting for Craig to lock in the date??? (I'm guessing you mean the location, right?)
  18. It's a 3200GT, Nick. The original and the best-looking one, before they changed to the shitty generic tail-lights on the updated version...
  19. Put a black bumper on the Mazzer, Tom!
  20. ShengBert, we are pretty much sorted on the PA side of things, so it should be just a matter of securing the tunes and something to play them on, whether it's a set of turntables or even just a playlist set up off a computer or MP3 player of some sort. We're still working on this, but if you're willing to help out in this regard, that would be greatly appreciated!
  21. You should ALL come to Sydney for our Show n Shine on the13th of December!
  22. C'mon people, we're putting on this Show n Shine for YOUR benefit as much as ours, so why not help us out here? We Execs don't get paid a cent to put these events on for you, we do it for the love of it, regardless of the fact that most of us have jobs, study, families and other responsibilities to attend to as well! So, if we don't get help from YOU people within the SAU community, then the events wouldn't run at all. I know I don't want that, do you??? Of course, the more volunteers we have, then the less likely people will be stuck doing things all day. The less time people are stuck with tasks all day, the more time they can spend socialising and admiring the other cars out there on the day!
  23. I spotted a silver s1 R33 in the main street of Toongabbie this afternoon. I heard it before I saw it, actually - gotta love that distinctive sound of an RB-series engine!
  24. You should all make the trip up to Sydney too!
