  1. Hahahaha, Cassbo's "Track spec" is no different to his "Daily spec." The only thing that really changes is the front bumper, driver's seat and what tyres the car is wearing at any one time...
  2. That is HAWT!!!
  3. I had a blast yesterday, as per usual! Thanks to all in my group (group 2), who I believe all behaved themselves behind me (according to Matt aka MBS206, there were no problems with silly behaviour). To the dude that came and asked me for an SAU cap during lunch, I went looking for you after I'd had my feed but couldn't find you. Could you please send me a PM and I will arrange to get one to you somehow.
  4. Good luck, safe travels! Let us know when you hit Sydney (assuming you can get online once in a while) and we'll try and gather up for a quick meeting or a feed and/or drinks...
  5. Spotted StageIan yesterday, first out the front of my house, then a few times later on in the day on the Putty Road cruise! Was an awesome day, hope you had fun mate!
  6. More photos of Ravi's brakes - never EVER have I seen anything like this...
  7. Spotted MBS206 Matt's massive puddle of oil today at Oran. Also spotted Lizzeh and some R31 forum peoples there too.
  8. That's how he drives on the street sometimes too! j/k
  9. Hahaha, I wish! Two birthdays a year would be great!
  10. Not a problem, I'm new to this so any advice given I'll try to remember, but there is a HELL of a lot to learn and remember, so I need to get used to it. BTW, you didn't mention which of those modes I should probably have been using. At a guess, should it have been Evaluative or Centre-weighted, just to get a balance coverage of exposure? I do have a Sigma flash too, but didn't even think to attach it because I assumed there was enough light in the shot and it would be sufficiently exposed for something decent to come of it. Oh well.. No, the first and fourth pics weren't meant to be blurry - with the first pic I was trying to shoot through a chain fence, and realised there was a slight opening that I could get my arm and camera through, but not be able to look through the viewfinder, so it was with a bit of luck that I got the shot at all. I was in a rush with the second one, and was tired by that time of the day too. Sl!m and I were in Melbourne for the weekend with 4 other people, and I've gotta say I was surprised at how many little tucked-away lanes we found that had awesome works on display. Some of it, like in my third shot and some of Sl!m's, were clearly destroyed by people tagging on them, and I think that's pretty disrespectful of the people who did the original works.
  11. Pffft, the car doesn't HAVE to be perfect, just loved! This isn't an AutoSalon-style event where every little detail will be looked at, it's more of a chance to show what you've got, speak to fellow enthusiasts, chill out, exchange ideas, etc.
  12. Hmmm, which of you pansies is going to head up tomorrow night???
  13. OK, as I mentioned previously, my photos of the graffiti won't be anywhere near as good as Sl!m's, but here they are anyway... The first and fourth ones are slightly out of focus, but they were both a bit rushed, unfortunately...
  14. What about the Navara???
  15. Pffft, those first two choices make you look like a Dragons supporter. Everyone knows the Eels are the best team to follow...
  16. And yeah, Huy, the car looks awesome!
  17. Can I borrow your RE30's, please Terry (on a permanent basis)?
  18. Spotted a red (maybe wine red) R33 GTSt with what looked like white Work Meister s1 wheels heading uphill along Cornelia Road in Toongabbie around 5pm this arvo...
  19. No, you don't have to be a member, but membership IS encouraged and the benefits spread wide and far! Entry forms will be available soon, just keep your eyes on the first post of this thread...
  20. BINGO!!! Hmmm, I was hoping the Stagea was intimidating enough without a bullbar, but clearly after my experiences the other day with a Mk 5 Golf driver (as outlined above), that doesn't seem to be the case.
  21. LOL, so true - WTF are they slowing down for? The tunnel is lit, and if someone still thinks the lighting is insufficient, then surely they can use enough fore-thought to turn on their headlights for that 10sec period they're driving through it, right? Oh wait, clearly they can't, otherwise we wouldn't be here writing these comments... Bah! Some dip-shit did that whole "hit the brakes because the person behind me is flashing their lights at me" thing to me the other day. By that time they'd slowed down enough that I could use SECOND gear to go around them. I had a teacher at school who used to take forever to accelerate to the speed limit, but she then continued accelerating to end up driving 20km/h over it.
  22. Buy a full set of each, Paul, but please make sure they're in a fitment that I can transfer onto the LOLwagon, okay? Honestly? I LOVE the Enkei's the most, but they're becoming common. That doesn't turn me off them any less, but I still like to be different. Hmmm, thinking back - that doesn't really help you at all, does it?
  23. Can't do it, unfortunately, as the surround that came with the head unit is too big to fit between the dash surround as it is, and too fragile to cut down to squeeze in there... It'll probably break as I try to trim it.
  24. Brent, if you're in Seven Hills often enough anyway drop into UAS down the end of Tucks Road and have a chat to them, they may be a bit more expensive, but have worked on quite a few Stageas around the area now and know what the go is.
