  1. As everyone else has said, massive thanks to Ian Raymond and Craig Cameron for their hospitality and the information they provided today! Every one of our tech nights has been both informative and interesting so far, and today was no exception. Thanks again to Terry for organising it too.
  2. Yep, this is a great shot!
  3. Unless you're set on having a black car and/or a series 2, then save yourself the hassle and buy Tangles' car. It's already in SA, already has plenty of mods that you'll likely end up doing anyway, and has been with one owner for ~8 years. If you want RWD only, it's only 4 bolts and the driveshaft drops out!
  4. My wagon is back in the shop as of this morning to sort out the exhaust (it's almost head-ache inducingly loud), some light-throttle tuning and a few small niggles here and there. Something was causing some restriction somewhere, so hopefully the exhaust sorts it out while still reducing volume. They're sourcing a new muffler from SMB, and apparently an SMB muffler has been used on a 500kW R33 that's still pretty quiet.
  5. Oh, I forgot to mention that the music playing last night was awesome, and not too loud. Old school Hip Hop, R+B and some New Jack Swing thrown in to boot. Perfect mix (and volume) for a relaxed and tasty feed.
  6. Spotted a white NM35 parked on Darling Street in Balmain tonight, and the owner and his wife(?) were getting into it to leave as I walked past.
  7. Yep, as Liz mentioned, the chicken ribs were incredible! Awesome little place, great food, and James was very accommodating and friendly. You get the feeling as if ALL of their customers are friends and family.
  8. Date changed to Sunday 2nd of February, 2014
  9. Might be the same one I spotted in my area about a week ago, Raj. BTW, there's a thread for the Stagea spottings here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/53437-spot-the-stagea/page-391
  10. Happy birthday Kel!!!
  11. Oh and I saw an actual Volvo hearse today, based on a 960.
  12. Also, I spotted a black C34 (possibly s2, couldn't tell from where I was sitting in the car I was in) turning off Station Road and onto Seven Hills Road in Seven Hills this afternoon...
  13. I'll put money on it that Glyn is referring to the weathershields on his Stagea, which are attached along where the roof meets the windowline and go all the way from A-pliiar to the C-pillar in one piece (we have frameless windows on our C34 Stageas), and are notoriously hard to find and VERY expensive to replace.
  14. Good luck Mark, carry some baguettes and French wine/champagne just to be safe! Here's to possibly Australia's first Renault VQ25DD-T.
  15. In please Terry!!!
  16. Two R34s parked together at the Caltex/McDonalds/Red Rooster/KFC on the Cumberland Highway (Briens Road) in Northmead this arvo around 4.30pm. One was yellow with some body kit, the other was white and I couldn't see the whole car so no idea if it was standard or not (they were a bit too far away for my eyesight to capture properly).
  17. Spotted a silver C34 s1 on Mona Vale Road in St Ives earlier tonight around 8pm.
  18. If you do wish to disclose this, PLEASE keep it to PMs only - it's part of the rules of being on this forum.
  19. Hey Dane, welcome aboard the Starship Stagea Express!
  20. I spotted a wine red s1 C34 last Thursday (12 December - either late morning or early arvo) with a female driving. I think it was heading west, and I think I was on Parramatta Road at the time, maybe in Auburn - can't remember exactly...
  21. Yep, I've noticed the same thing on both iPhone and iPad...
  22. Looking good, Glyn! It will probably be a good idea to get the rear guards rolled as well, if they haven't been done already. Swaybars will make a world of difference, too. As for the return-feed FMIC, Bob is right. There is a JustJap one available, not sure about the Blitz one. I bought a GReddy one years ago for a pretty hefty price, and about 6 months later JustJap started selling their ones at roughly half of what I'd just paid...
  23. Strip the M35, create "because racecar" from stripped-out shell?
  24. Spotted a silver V35 four-door today with Mexi-poke wheels - not a fan, sorry. Also spotted a black V35 coupe - that one looked pretty good!
  25. I do, and I love it. I suck with Photoshop, so most of my editing is done via Lightroom, and if I need something cloned out (like power poles behind cars, etc.) then I'll export it to Photoshop to do.
