  1. Which one is a little over-priced, mate?
  2. Brake pads and rotors should indeed be the same as R33 GT-R, as pretty much everything under the body of the Stagea shell (whether it's an s1 or s2 Stagea 260RS) is the same as an R33 GT-R.
  3. Hahaha, I was actually gonna add that whole "...but just check if they're local Nikon-certified units or not" statement too. Damned shame, it would be good to find an eligible one for $1200 before the discount was applied. BTW, since having bought my own DSLR, I've been going to Digital Camera Warehouse to buy stuff when I'm in that area (they're in Canterbury, so it's usually when I'm on the way back from the airport or visiting my old workplace to catch up with friends), but they do have a shop in Melbourne too, and their prices are amongst the best as far as I've noticed so far.
  4. I would if I could open it and listen to it... Please tell your mate to save it as a .ZIP file instead of a .RAR file.
  5. http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi...only&spos=1 Try that, Shan, some of them are already just under the $1200 mark.
  6. Oh, about 5mins after I saw that R35 this afternoon, I also spotted a white R32 GTSt in Pendle Hill with the rear end all smashed up - looks like it had been hit from behind by something with a bull-bar.
  7. Just spotted a black R35 going through the roundabout at the intersection of Magowar and Targo Roads in Girraween. Rego was "VR38"
  8. Nice one, Andy. Welcome back!
  9. I spotted a silver V35 this afternoon on Pennant Hills Road in Carlingford at around 5.15pm. It was all stickered-up with the Nismo stripes, "s-tune" logos and Rays/Nismo LM-GT5's, looked hot!
  10. But you have boobs, Shell!
  11. Considering the R35 wheels are 20s, I think that the way they look on your car isn't quite to scale, so if you can make them look bigger, it might be fairly accurate.
  12. Nope, I'd NEVER say "sorry officer" if I didn't need to - they take it as an admission of guilt. But they DO do the "attitude test" to see how you speak to them, and then sometimes they hit you harder if you give them any lip or say something that they might not like. Best thing to do is be short, concise, but not rude. The thing I love most about my car is that they barely ever look at me. I've been followed a few times, even once when I had just given it a stab on a freeway entry ramp, and I noticed that they followed me pretty closely for a few kilometers, so I figured that the car was an undercover and was checking my details before they pulled me over. I'd just jumped onto the freeway, and slowed right down to around 85km/h in a 100 zone because they were following a bit too close. I'd already suspected that it was an undercover car, and was proven right as they went past me a few minutes later and I saw that it had pulled over another car a few more kilometers away. There were plenty of cops out that night, it seemed.
  13. It'll be awesome if (or, more hopefully, when) we can get manual M35s here, even if they are non-turbo. I don't see myself selling my C34 for ages yet, but a black 350S would be a lovely car, I'm guessing...
  14. We sent e-hugs to each other, Iain - you jealous?
  15. Yeah, the 50mm f/1.8 has an RRP of $149, but I've seen them for either $125 at CameraStore or $127 at DigitalCameraWarehouse. It's actually cheaper to buy it here than from some places O/S.
  16. Will update the attendees list within a few days...
  17. This is the movie based on the whole drifting craze, not the movie that started it! And the movie is based on the comic book and (later) the cartoon series, but even they came after the whole scene had been around for at least a few years...
  18. Thought these links might be useful for those still in the process of learning what cameras and lenses to buy, the differences in significance of choosing the right ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speeds for your photos, and how to get the most out of your equipment. They're from the Canon tutorials, but the lessons learnt can be applied to all cameras - even point-and-shoots, if they have any manually-adjustable controls on them. 19. Yesterday I spotted a silver V35 four-door somewhere in my travels around Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills and Glenhaven. Today, about half an hour ago, I spotted a dark blue s2 R33 in Toongabbie today, going past the set of lights where the overhead railway bridge is. It had some black six-spoke wheels on it, but I was too tired to take note of what kind they were - maybe Buddy Clubs or similar.
  20. Oh yeah, Ruby, if you can work out how to get a constant 14.4v feed to your fuel pump (which is what a lot of workshops do), then do it. Duncan might be able to explain this, as he was there and involved when his was being replaced.
  21. Of course we do: check the dates of the most recent posts!
  22. Cool, thanks for the reply. I'll keep my eyes open for updates...
  23. Dear god... When there's more than 6 but less than 8 of them, it will REALLY be time to start worrying!
  24. LOL - Gold!!!
