Yep, it's still there. It has been modified a bit, but not enough to run the risk of a $10k fine from the EPA. Apparently even the best Cats show restrictions, despite what they're supposed to achieve with their advertised flow rates.
Well, last night (Friday) I went out for a feed, then took it for a bit of a drive and on the way home I went into a quiet, flat part of the industrial area near home and did some bed-in from roughly 50km/h to 10km/h with a fair bit of pressure, and it helped a fair bit. I did about 7 stops, harder than I normally brake, but not nearly anywhere hard enough to trigger ABS.
When I go for another drive, I'll know for sure. Either way, I have to go back to Unigroup to give feedback on how it's all going, and in case anything needs tweaking, so I'll have a chance to ask about the shims and the brake goo.
