  1. Once a date has been sorted out, let me know and I will add it to the Stagea Events section...
  2. Profec B spec 2 is installed, here are the pre- and post-install graphs. Some tweaking to the PFC was done as well, and figures are measured at the rear wheels only...
  3. Hahaha, Jetwreck and I were joking about that earlier... Even though we're both at least double that age, chronologically! Seriously though, I doubt anyone would be stupid enough to do something that will spoil it for all of us.
  4. You left Alex and I out, Stephen - how bloody rude!!! j/k Danny, does Rhodes Shopping Centre have a little cafe of some sort right near the carpark? It's been quite a while since I've been there, so I can't remember. If they do, then that (or maybe Auburn McD's and KK's) would work out best - fairly central to all and easy to find (especially Auburn).
  5. SAU-NSW's first official track day added - it's cheap and the track is great for beginners as there's heaps of run-off room!!!
  6. I'm getting a GReddy Profec B spec 2 installed on Wednesday. Looking forward to having it done, and will offer some feedback (and maybe dyno graphs if I decide to get them done) after that.
  7. Best bang-for-buck handling mod: upgraded, thicker (and preferably adjustable) stabiliser bars.
  8. Closer to what, Damo? I'm happy to come along too, if you don't mind a lowly C34 driver and his car tagging along... If we make it just a general Stagea meet, there are a few others who might join in.
  9. I'm not an importer, but the rule has always been the same: As long as you don't import a car manufactured WHILE it was locally available here in Australia, then you're fine. Example 1: the R32 GT-R was available from 1989 through to 1993, but was only officially sold here through Nissan in around 1992, so anything before or after the time they were OFFICIALLY on sale via Nissan Australia is okay to bring into the country. You can also bring in any(?) GTS or GTSt R32s because they were never available here at all... Example 2: the Z32 300ZX was never officially brought into Australia with the twin-turbo VG30, so you CAN import one of them because it's different from what Nissan offered. Example 3: the S15 Silvia was also only brought into the country for a certain period, so anything outside that time is fine. Also, the S15 Varietta was never available at all, so you can get one of those too (but they are pretty rare, and are all non-turboed SR20s with an auto-box).
  10. Happy birthday, Chris!
  11. Seeing as you have an RS-Four (and hence, all wheel drive), the only thing you really need to worry about is that you use the same sized tyres on all four wheels, or you will eventually cause serious (and expensive) issues with the transfer case on the gearbox. Your tyre placard says 195/60/16? I'm sure mine says 225/50/16 or around that... Anyway, do a search on the forums (or on the net in general) for tyre size calculators. There are quite a few mentions of them even within this part of the forums, so it won't be hard to find references to them. It will give you the best diameters to aim for if you need to replace your tyres and want the same or similar rolling diameter. Have you got access to a GPS navigation device with speed read-out (the newer, the better)? If you have, use it to get an idea of how much difference there is between what your speedo says and what the navigation device tells you. Speedometers are usually set up very optimistically and often read a speed higher than what you are actually travelling. I replaced my standard Stagea wheels and 225/50/16 tyres with V35 Skyline wheels and 245/40/18 tyres and the speedo is now a LOT closer to what it should read. It used to read 60km/h when I was actually doing about 54-55km/h, and now it's only below by 1km/h or so. I've checked this on 3 different navigation devices for comparison's sake (before and after), and all told me the same thing...
  12. Nice shots, Brendo! Are they enhanced, or straight off the camera? I think I'm getting used to seeing that huge chunk taken out of the bottom of your DAYZ bar where the intercooler is, as well.
  13. Hmmm, I know the AR-X has the wheel-arch flares, but does the AXIS have wider guards than an RS or RX?
  14. Hahahaha, I'd hope you knew where this was - it's listed in the ad as "The Toy Shop," which is an importer/dealer/wreckers around your area.. LOL. Yeah, clearly they've listed it as an Autech to get views to the add and a few enquiries from those not quite in the know. The car has the wrong seats, wrong front bumper, wrong wheels, and a whole bunch of other stuff. And as for how Autechs were produced and build-plated, I thought they were all plated as WGNC34s (with the "N" in the model code signifying AWD, and they might even have been atmo RB25s when they were shipped from the Nissan factory to Autech (hence the "G" in the model code meaning RB25, where "H" is an RB20).
  15. Welcome aboard, Paul! Good to hear you've found yourself a nice s1 C34, are you happy with it so far? Got photos yet?
  16. Just spotted a silver M35 Axis on Gipps Street in Concord.
  17. Unigroup Engineering are in Girraween (western Sydney, about 10mins past Parramatta and just off the Great Western Highway), by the way, not Kirrawee (southern Sydney, near Cronulla)... http://www.unigroup.com.au/
  18. Sounds good Stuart, but even though I live only 15mins from the Blacktown drive-ins, I won't be able to attend - spending the weekend in the city. Oh well, another new Stagea owner came along tonight - picked up his car this afternoon and brought it up the Coast! A nice pearl white s2 C34 - welcome along Paul!
  19. Having a good look at their website, it looks like they deal exclusively with Nissans, too.
  20. That'd be Garage Impul, they make body kits, computers, wheels, pretty much everything... http://www.impul.co.jp/
  21. Tonight, punks!!! Who's in? Alex has already mentioned he's likely to come along...
  22. Yep, ask the seller if there are any problems with the car - if he/she is your friend then they should be honest with you. Have a read of this thread: The C34 Stagea buyers' guide, and if you still have questions, then put them up in there.
  23. TJ, are you saying that Blits are doing vented bonnets for the Stagea? I'd love one (eventually) on my s1 if I can get one. And if Blits are doing them, I'd say it's safe to assume they'd be ADR-approved like most of their stuff, right? *checks website*
