  1. PM received and replied to, Chris - thanks again!
  2. Actually, an RB into Commodores is quite a common fitment because (from what I've read and heard) it's pretty much just changing the engine crossmember. Dale, I'd rather a smooth inline 6 than that shitty excuse for an engine the Commodore V6 was, even with the changed weight distribuition... Not that I'd do it - screw even owning a Commodore in the first place!
  3. Welcome to the Stagea fold! I've beem looking for months on IM for Stagea parts, and have found some nice little goodies here and there, but haven't actually bought anything yet. It's a shame the Oz dollar's value against the Yen (and everything, for that matter) has dropped so badly...
  4. Yep, I'd trust Heasemans - I believe Sydneykid (Gary Cook) worked with them in setting up the kits for Stageas, Skylines, and the Silvia/180SX/200SX ranges. The SK kit now uses R32 GTR valving for the front, but the rear is stiffer than R33 due to the extra weight the Stagea carries. It really depends on where you are and how far you want to travel. If you're out West, give Gary a call at Superior Suspension (they're in Minto), but if you're closer to the city, then Heasemans are the go.
  5. Thanks, much appreciated!
  6. Good to hear, mate. Hope all is well!
  7. Nice buy, congratulations to you (for buying it) and Ken for the sale!
  8. Yeah, the best bet is to get the VIN of the car you're looking at, and get one of the guys here to look it up on the Nissan FAST system to see if it's a genuine Autech 260RS.
  9. Nice work, Chris! I'm currently thinking about upgrading my stereo properly (with a single-DIN DVD player, some Dynamat or similar, some amps and a subwoofer, and will replace my Boston speakers if they need it) I'd like to stick to an Alpine head unit, but am pretty open to what amps and speakers to use, but focussing on SQ for my own personal enjoyment. Can you recommend anyone in Sydney? If I can get it all done in one place, that would be preferred.
  10. OMG it's Andy! Welcome back, mate!
  11. The best bet is to find somewhere you are again comfortable in taking your car to, and establish a relationship with that workshop. That way when you have future work done there, you'll have an idea of what to expect from them and they'll know what your aims are for your car.
  12. Mine are the same as GorGasm's (the yellow one you posted, Adam), and they are 18x8 +30mm offset. They should easily fit over the Brembos. The only thing I had to do was get the rear guards rolled, because I put 245/40 tyres on them and they scrubbed a little bit.
  13. Oooh I'll check if I still have mine as it may have been thrown out. If not, all I have to do is figure out how much it will cost to send up to Queensland, and it's yours
  14. Jules, join SAU-NSW and you can get access to cheap Federal 595-SS's. I've got them on my C34 and my confidence in the car has grown immensely! There's a link to the forms in my signature. The cost of signing up to the club makes up for the discount you should receive for the tyres if you choose to go with the Federals. Oh, and I went from 225/50R16s to 245/40R18s and now my speedo is almost dead accurate according to two different GPS units I've tested it against.
  15. Spotted CL11QE yesterday in his garage, and helped get it running again! That counts as a fair spotting, before anyone asks, because I AM THE MODERATOR AND I SAY SO!!! Hehehehehe
  16. I've got a standard dump/front pipe and compliance cat off my Stagea that should fit your R33, and I'm trying to get rid of it. Details are here: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=130282861379 Make me an offer, as I just want to get rid of it...
  17. It was an engine fuse, Hugh. We got that sorted out and now the battery light is on. Hopefully that's just another fuse issue or at the worst just the regulator on the alternator...
  18. Check the Events section here...
  19. Drove past that a few weeks back, wasn't sure if it was his or not. From the street it's very prominent - great big sign out the front so you can't miss it.
  20. I didn't even see a cop car all weekend!
  21. Spotted a white s1 this afternoon on the M2 motorway in Winston Hills, it was heading away from where the M7 stops and becomes the M2 (heading North). Was it you, Duncan, by chance?
  22. Spotted a white R33 GTR with (I think) gold Volk GT-Cs today turning from Cornelia Road onto Best Road in Toongabbie.
  23. Price reduced to $150, but make a reasonable offer and they may well be yours!
  24. Yep, even Thorpie says so...
