  1. Oh, I didn't see you Tom, were you in stealth mode in some other car?
  2. How did The Stig go driving the Radical, Neil?
  3. Was good to meet you too, Tony! Alex and I just cruised through the Old Pac, both of us were in a very relaxed mood.
  4. I do know of that one too, Mike, but I'm pretty sure I have seen one that's actually a Stagea with R33 front grafted on. Brycey in Newcastle had one done by CCubed Performance I think it was, down here somewhere in Sydney. He's since sold it on to another SAU forum member, and pictures of it are in the "Post a Pic of your Stagea" thread.
  5. Rick, we drive up to Erina on the Central Coast. It takes about 35-40mins from Berowra. The weekly Thursday cruise to that particular meeting spot has been going for at least 2 years, so for those who regularly attend it's kind of a tradition. The crew we meet up there are awesome to hang around, and we can stay for as long or as short a time as we want (we meet in a car park about 10-15mins drive from the F3 freeway). We have permission from the venue owners to be there, so we don't get hassled by cops and told to leave. I will be organising a cruise or meet some time early in the new year for us Sydney Stagea owners, and that will be on a weekend so there's less issues with people worrying about work the next day, etc.
  6. I know of another RB30-based Stagea that's being built here in Sydney - not sure if he's using a 25 or 26 head, though.
  7. I have seen an R33-fronted Stagea done once, but I think it was a custom job for some workshop in Japan If you want an "easy" solution, MASA motorsports in Japan make a kit for the R34 front end, and this is one you've most likely seen around. It's far from cheap though, especially with the way our $Au is compared to the Japanese Yen. There might be someone doing a copy of the kit around Australia, but I'm not sure. There was talk of it happening, but whether they actually went through with it I don't know. Probably the person to ask would be Darrin, I think he actually has his R34-fronted Stagea for sale at the moment. His username is "darrinspencer" and I'm sure he'll pop along and contribute to answering your question soon enough.
  8. My old man works on the occasional car, and he's lost a few sockets while working, usually while trying to access a nut or bolt that's either a. impossible to see but easy to reach, or b. impossible to reach but easy to see.
  9. Even the Good Vibes line-up kicks ass! FATBOY SLIM THE PRESETS THE ROOTS DEADMAU5 THE PHARCYDE (ORIGINAL LINE UP) CHROMEO STANTON WARRIORS THE POTBELLEEZ KID KENOBI + MC SHURESHOCK (There are more, but these are the ones I'm interested in) Seeing as tickets are long-gone, I'l have to try and catch some of the side shows. I'd love to see The Roots and The Pharcyde - I've been listening to heaps of that style of hip-hop lately. Gotta try and catch a Kid Kenobi set sometime soon too.
  10. Future Music has an awesome line-up! These would be soooo worth it: N*E*R*D feat. Pharrell Williams (live) Basement Jaxx (live) Etienne De Crecy (live) Joachim Garraud Mr Oizo Even Paul Oakenfold would be good if he does a house/deep house set!
  11. I'm pretty sure it's just part of the cafe/eatery, IIRC.
  12. I spotted and parked next to a white R33 GTSt when I went to the shops at Winston Hills earlier. Also, just after I left there I spotted a black R33 GTSt turning right off Powers Road and onto Old Windsor Road in Seven Hills.
  13. I'm sure the first time we entered as a club, that Paul (OzGTR) and Adam (Abo Bob) went and bought beers at the bar there.
  14. Congratulations - at least now you have some closure and can move on! Shame you still didn't get your car out of it, but at least you didn't lose too much either. It could have been better, but by the same token it could have been a lot worse!
  15. Just spotted a silver s1 in Winston Hills, near the corner of Langdon Road and Caroline Chisholm Drive. Had "for sale" details all over it...
  16. Nope, but her car was! j/k
  17. Two main ways to get there, Doof - either via the M2 (longer, but faster) or via Castle Hill (shorter, but takes more time). Via M2: Via Castle Hill:
  18. Hmm, I'm going to have to go through this thread to see how hard it is to get R32GT-R/R33GTSt brakes under my car - i have a set that I'm sure I can purchase pretty cheaply. I'll probably get the calipers front and rear, and get bigger discs and better pads.
  19. I've got the same wheels for sale at the moment (with very similar, if not the same, rubber, but wider than yours at 225/50R16), had no idea what to offer them for, so I put them for $300ono. Here's a reference if you'd like to use it for your own ad: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fs...sh-t244437.html
  20. Spotted Corinne on the road tonight, ummm, leaving my place.
  21. Care to share any info on who your tuner is, NRVOUS? Even by PM, if you prefer...
  22. That's the one. Pennant Hills Road is part of the Cumberland Highway anyway, just like Parramatta Road is part of the GWH.
  23. Alex and I are in for this week, who else is going to join the fleet of "Volvos" who leisurely cruise past the defect stations this week?
  24. Depends how hard the owner/driver is on the brakes. True, using the gears in a manual isn't a total solution, but it does help. If I've been hard on the brakes I use the handbrake when I come to a complete stop. I had a (manual) Corolla for over a decade and never had to replace front rotors. Yeah, underbraking would be a factor. My cousin owns a Prado. I'm not sure how hard she is on the brakes, but it suffers from pretty bad brake shudder.
