  1. All the more reason why you should just Buy Ken (RBNT)'s 260RS! It saves you the hassle of doing all that work yourself.
  2. Spotted two really nice Skylines today, both on Seven Hills Road. First was a wine red or red over silver two-tone R31 Silhouette with BBS-style mesh wheels near Cropley Drive. Second was a black R32 GTSt, also with mesh wheels (different to the '31, though) on the border of Bella Vista. Both cars were VERY clean!
  3. Welcome, Brendan!
  4. Hi James, I have two questions for you: 1 - are you a business trader? If you are, you will have to follow the rules just like all the other businesses using these forums, as outlined here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Bu...ad-t10021.html; and 2 - why is this being advertised in the Stagea section? It is completely irrelevant to this area of the forums. If you are trying to secure a sale (or business, in which case please again refer to my first point), then it should be placed in the appropriate thread.
  5. Welcome to SAU, and to the Stagea section. First things first, where are you located? If you can give us an idea, then we can give you better location-based information in regards to who to use to buy and maintain your car. Manual Stageas were built in lower numbers, so that's why they're harder to find, and (usually) cost more. Apart from the 260RS, there were no other manual s1 Stageas in the C34 range. Nope, they're not all AWD, so if you wanted a RWD they are out there. But I think all the RWDs were autos, someone may correct me on this... Engine availability question should be able to be answered in the Stagea Buyers' Guide thread. The one with the RB26DETT was the 260RS. Yep there are a few conversions going around, but it would probably be cheaper just to buy one with the intended engine already in it. Yes, but getting the kit to cover where the rails went isn't too easy, AFAIK.
  6. 'Bout bloody time they got your car into a magazine!
  7. He's here on SAU as well, but he's "moved on" to a Mitsu Evo. He's a Melbourne resident.
  8. Spotted a silver R32 four-door tonight around 6.30pm, I can't remember if it was on James Ruse Drive around Northmead or on Parramatta Road, but I was heading towards Ashfield from home at the time.
  9. No problems. Oh, and I see you found my FaceBook group too!
  10. Tried doing this today, Craig, but you can only have three questions in the poll. Up to 30 answers per question can be put in, but the number of questions is the limiting factor...
  11. Here's one for you, Shane. http://kumho.com.au/tips_diameter.htm Punch in the details of your current tyre package, and then find the dimensions of a set of 18's that have the same or similar rolling diameter.
  12. Nice one, Andrew! Welcome to SAU, and specifically to the Stagea section!
  13. Can't remember what wheels, Albert. I just remember him cutting in and out of traffic, tailgating people and cutting people off.
  14. You're a snob, Hempy - saw you and Benny drive past us (and beep, just to rub it in) on Thursday night. Snob...
  15. Spotted "BL35ED" silver R33s2 last night around 8pm, driving like a complete tool on Cumberland Highway - nice one, ass-clown! Bringing the reputation of all your fellow P-Platers and Skyline drivers down.
  16. I believe the original rule was to give way to traffic already on the roundabout AND those approaching from the right, which I still think is the safest option, but yeah, I'm not going to wait for a car that's still a fair way off anyway.
  17. Those two white Stageas would be Alex "CL11QE" and Ben
  18. The shocks themselves are a lot better controlled and suited to Aussie conditions than factory ones, not to mention that your old shocks are quite likely worn out anyway, so they won't be performing to their best potential. Keeping the factory springs would keep the ride fairly smooth, and the SK shocks would be the "balancing act" between ride and handling. I've got both the SK-spec springs and shocks, and it's pretty stiff.
  19. Hey kids, who's coming to the Coast tonight?
  20. I spotted BO55RB today at the Airport in the parking lot for the Domestic terminal. Oh, and on the way to the airport I spotted WTFR33 Sam in his MR2!
  21. Here's what you need - I'm (seriously) thinking of doing something similar if I ever enter my car into our club display at AutoSalon! It should be a nice little piss-take on all the ricers and "all show, no go" kinds of cars you typically see there - Hyundai Accents, Mitsu Mirages and Honda Civic Breezes with $40,000 paint jobs and white (p)leather interiors.
  22. Spotted a wine red R32 GTSt in Ashfield last night on Liverpool Rd at around 7.30pm.
  23. Ouch, sorry to hear about the parts lost. Regardless, wishing you a happy birthday and hopefully you'll get/hear something that will turn your luck around!
  24. Peter, I'm guessing you're referring to cryogenic parts strengthening? I'm sure I've read or heard about it, but not sure where or who would do it - sorry... Maybe it was in either one of my old HPI or Zoom mags?
  25. Sending birthday wishes out to Corinne and Liz-Jane!
