  1. Happy birthday, Snags!
  2. Spotted a silver S2 driven by a woman today around 4pm, on the bridge over the railway line at Rooty Hill (Francis Rd), heading South away from the RSL as I was going the other way. I noticed it at the last minute and beeped, but I doubt they would have had time to notice me. There was heaps of traffic too.
  3. Spotted a gunmetal R32 GT-R tonight with the plates "2HYPO" on Parramatta Road from around Croydon through to Ashfield. He was still in front of me as I turned off onto Liverpool Road heading into Ashfield, and turned off a few streets before me. It sounded VERY nice. I *think* the driver waved or gave a thumbs up, not sure... I replied, but seeing as either in front of or behind each other at various stages, or traveling at different speeds due to traffic, I'm not sure he saw me reply. I was in the green Stagea.
  4. I posted some information I got from my HyperRev magazines in a thread, here's a link: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=4120145
  5. Exactly - SINGLE CAM RB-20 means avoid at all costs unless you don't mind being overtaken by babies in walkers!
  6. Spotted Shell earlier tonight! But that's because I'm in Canberra atm. Home tomorrow - sweeeeet!
  7. Sorry to hear about that, Emily. Hmm, seeing as you work in real estate, you probably already know this, but I'll mention it anyway for the benefit of all: Lane Street in Wentworthville is probably the WORST area in Wenty for crime. I used to live in Wenty as a kid, and still live fairly near by. On the very rare occasion I head back in there for anything, I would never dare park in that parking lot, no matter what car I was driving! I'm even apprehensive about parking at Highway Plaza, but at least there's a bit more "people traffic" through there, so I'd hope it's less likely that something would occur.
  8. Happy birthday, Slimothy!!
  9. Most likely is your traction control telling you that it's "taking over" to restore traction. AFAIK, most cars that have traction control also have a light that does the same thing.
  10. Looks good , Brendo! I've been contemplating getting rims for ages, but the ones I'm leaning towards are all bloody expensive Jap rims. And yeah, how are the knees doing?
  11. Spotted MZ-034 gunmetal R34 GT-t on my travels today between Mount Pritchard and Greenfield Park. Also spotted a black R34 GT-R with vented bonnet in Greenfield Park.
  12. Not right either, Ian - the RS-Four denotes AWD, but "RS" by itself is RWD. Here's what I found in the HyperRev catalogue - only the RWDs are listed: Now, I can only go by what I can easily make out - unfortunately I can't read Japanese, so that's as much information as I can provide.
  13. As posted in the other thread in Wasteland...
  14. Ryan, bring the wagon out - that way mine won't be the only one there! Please?
  15. Yeah, it's a shame Sydney's lost soooo many race venues over the years - Amaroo Park, Castlereagh drag strip, and probably at least another 2-3 more... Oran park has been sold to developers and will be converted to a housing estate in the not-too-distant future, so do yourselves a favour and get out there and use it while it still exists! Did you know that before Westmead Hospital was built that that site was the old venue for what became Parramatta City Raceway? Bunnings car-park is probably a little to no chance of happening, unfortunately... We've got no idea when this new "replacement" event will take place, considering the Texi was only cancelled today. We've got to make sure we can use the venue, then find an available date, and go from there...
  16. Nope, the decision to cancel was only made today, but soon we will be getting underway to securing a venue we've found and starting the process of getting a new event organised. Welcome to SAU, by the way!
  17. That's right, we've already found a tentative venue which is promising, so soon the process will begin on securing it so we can organise our next Texi. Even better, if this venue is the go, then it's going to be nice and local, so there's a minimum saving of roughly $200 per entrant because we won't have to worry about driving down, overnight accommodation, and getting back the next day.
  18. I'm in...
  19. Bappy Hirthday, Doof! Sorry I can't come up the coast for car-park cake tonight!
  20. Alright peoples, I did a recording on the Defi's to see where my boost was sitting at, and as I mentioned it hit a peak of 0.85bar, which works out to 12.3psi, BUT that was only a spike lasting less than half a second. When I watched the boost curve, it goes up and levels out at around 0.7bar, which is just a nudge over 10psi. Probably in a couple of months I'll get a boost controller, but I'll be going straight for a GReddy Profec B spec II, as I've heard nothing but good things about them.
  21. Spotted a black or very, very dark grey R33s1 four-door turning off Windsor Road and into Victoria Avenue at around 5pm today.
  22. Spotted a standard white V35 sedan at the end of my street, then another white V35 coupe with mags and a Bayside Blue R34 GTt on Old Northern Road in Castle Hill.
  23. Congrat on the sale from me too, Luke! Are you going to be sticking around here though?
