Assuming that the car is yet to be imported, I don't think it will be too easy, but the best way to find out for sure is to speak to a few importers and/or compliancers to see what they say... I see what you're saying David, but if the car is yet to be imported and complied I think there might be issues with actually getting it on the road. What is done to the car afterwards they don't have as much control over, and a cop and/or the RTA can't really say much unless the car is clearly unsafe or unroadworthy. I doubt they could convincingly state that changing it to manual makes it unsafe.

Spotted and met up with Alex "CL11QE" in his pearl white s2 RS Four S and Charlie Stokes in his yellow s2 RS Four today at Seven Hills. Also spotted the silver s2 that's also in the area, but didn't get to meet that car or its owner.

Great Western Highway @ Prospect, especially the intersection of Flushcombe Rd, is notorious. My cousin wrote off her car there a few weeks ago...

Do you mean that you've already sent your forms and paid to join the Club and are waiting for confirmation that it's gone through, or you will be paying for your membership on the day? If you haven't already joined SAU-NSW, then it's best if you do that first ASAP - from there we can check the Club's account and make sure the payment went through, and then you can pay $100 for the Texi as a Member!

Clint, you could try cleaning your AFM too - there are a few tutorials in the DIY threads - and it could well turn out that that would have cured the problem. It's worth a try, and maybe if it works you can either sell one of them off or keep it as a spare in case anything worse occurs in the future.

Spotted a hot-looking silver s2 with twin-cannons pointing out from under the bumper today on the City West link, Wattle Street, Haberfield, around 1.30 or 2pm (not sure exactly). I think the driver was female, and there was a male passenger in the front seat.

Spotted a silver R33 in the parking lot of where the P&O cruises depart off Hickson Road at Wharf 8, Darling Harbour.

Going into the city is alright, but parking, door "security" and dress codes can be a PITA. If the house party thing is out, how about a friendly bar/pub/restaurant in or near one of the big locales - Chatswood, Parramatta, the Piazza in Castle Hill, etc.?

That really sucks that this has what's come of the Evo - it seems as though because the dodgy oxygen-wasters couldn't keep the car for themselves, they chose to torch it, instead of maybe WORKING and EARNING what they deserve like 99% of the community...
