  1. Spotted three Stageas yesterday in the area behind the pits at Oran Park, one was a champagne-gold M35, one was a silver s1 with gold mags towing a trailer, and the third was Duncan's.
  2. Nice one, Dave and Jess, and welcome to the Stagea family!
  3. Happy Birthday, Beau!
  4. Bwahahahahahahah - glad you enjoyed yourself, Cy! And I'm more than happy to catch up again if/when you're next in Sydney.
  5. Hey peoples, tomorrow at Oran Park (Saturday 5th of July), quite a few members will be competing in the Superlap Time Attack challenge. It'll be a good day to get out there and support your fellow SAU members! As an added bonus, SAU-NSW has secured a corporate area above the pits, and if you'd like to use that area, all you need to do is show your SAU-NSW Club membership card, and you and two guests can make the most of your membership. If you're not already an SAU-NSW Club member, you can join up tomorrow and make use of the corporate area as well. If it's as cold as today, it will be well worth it. (Membership details are in my signature.) Details on our entering members are here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Su...ra-t225954.html Details from SuperLap's website are here: http://www.superlap.com.au/
  6. Yep, already done - but it's only in the Stagea DIY section. I'll have to see if I have the authority (but I doubt it) to add it into the general DIY section. Yeah, I'm up for that. Saves me going to either Queensland or Victoria. It'd be hard to choose otherwise, because I also have relo's in both states who I want to see...
  7. I just spotted the same white s2 twice in the space of about half an hour. Number plate was ORG13Z. I spotted it both times on Seven Hills Road/Old Northern Road from Seven Hills through to Baulkham Hills, once while I was on my way to the car wash, and the second time when I was on the way back home. We were going in the same direction both times, so I'm guessing he's a local. First time the driver had a (teenage?) male passenger, and then on the return trip the passenger was female.
  8. If you're talking about the caster rods (considering they're affecting your steering), then they are the same as Skyline ones, so you should be able to get them second hand from any Japanese parts importer. And you can buy the bushes separately. And seriously, why would Nissan want an exchange part if they themselves "only" sell the arm as a whole part? Surely they're replacing the bushes themselves and then re-selling them as a complete unit.
  9. Nope, don't powder-coat them, Ryan - they look hot as they are!
  10. Steeeeeeben, the wring is wong on your car, and you know it! Not only that, but the wing is wrong too!
  11. Nice one Alex - now the wait for compliancing to be completed begins... Let's hope they don't take too long, then we can set up a meet or cruise.
  12. Ouch, that's gotta suck!
  13. How was the cruise itself, peeps? I had stuff to do already, so I couldn't come along. Lucky for me it was just down the road from the meet-up spot.
  14. There isn't a specific Stagea section for complete cars, so use the Private Whole Cars For Sale thread.
  15. Spotted wolverine's car this arvo up on the hoist @ Unique.
  16. Hmmm, I can't believe I've posted in this thread and mentioned nothing about the above post. So, here it goes: Firstly, your post is neither positive nor helpful. If you say that you can source a car for cheaper, why didn't you offer to do so - even if AndyD has bought his car, surely if he (or someone else) is in the market for a car in the future, your offer (if you could call it that) may be considered, correct? Secondly, what makes you say that the car hasn't been driven yet? Do you KNOW that the valuation process DOESN'T involve someone driving the car? I don't know, but then I don't make those kinds of assumptions either. Next, so what if three people have chosen to buy their cars overseas for a "higher" price than they can be picked up here? Do you know what each buyer is looking for specifically? What if they wanted their chosen car in a specific colour, with certain options fitted, or wanted to be the first Australian owners? What if they wanted a car with a body kit or different wheels? Or a totally standard car that they could modify or leave stock as per their wishes and/or requirements? What makes you assume that the valuer who inspected the car has a vested interest? You're right that a car bought here will PROBABLY end up costing less, but the fact that you even mentioned PROBABLY means that you don't know for sure. Factor in that you haven't taken into account any specific requests that a buyer might have, then who knows if that car could even be found here. Lastly, it's interesting that you'd been signed up to these forums for all of 8 days and decided you'd be in the perfect position to make such statements - what is there for other forum users to dispute the fact that YOU don't have a vested interest in offering (once again, if you could call your post an "offer") to help others to get a car at a lower price? Seeing as you've been on these forums for such a short time, I'll say this: if you choose to post these kinds of replies, please choose your words carefully. Attacks on other forum members are not appreciated, and will not be tolerated. As I've already mentioned, the way you've worded your post is neither positive nor helpful. You could quite easily have made your points just as effectively if you'd instead offered some pointers on what a buyer should look out for, or mentioned that you'd seen a car with the same or similar features for a lower price. Please take this all into account when you make your next post. Thanks.
  17. Maybe the fuel tank isn't full enough and the pump can't reach what's in there because of the angle?
  18. Indeed! That car was INSIDE and on the OTHER SIDE of the hall to where I'd parked my car, and we could hear it on the dyno over all of the music playing and the traffic going past on the street. The GAS Motorsports Supra was equally as loud, and so was the GRAMPS XM or XP Falcon with a huge s/charger on it. In comparison, Carl's V35 was really quiet, and we were stunned that a car with 530-odd rwkW's could produce so little noise!
  19. Spotted a white M35 on Parramatta Road around Leichhardt as I was heading into town for the Sydney Auto Salon. It was heading west-bound, around 12.30pm or 1pm. Also spotted Xmetal's car amongst the SAU display @ Auto Salon.
  20. Happy Birthday, Kylie! 'sif you're too old...
  21. There you go Brad, I'm sure you've been witness to how loud and animalistic Charlie's car sounds!
  22. No problems, let me know what kind of shirt you want and I'll bring one along or have it available for you. There's a link to the Merchandise thread in my sig... That's the Stagea badge, it's two unicorns:
  23. With great difficulty?
  24. Don't forget Fountain Plaza tonight, Stu! And yeah, expressing interest in the lights (front and rear) - do you have a ball-park sales figure in mind?
