  1. Exactly! Don't be shy to still come and visit once in a while.
  2. Forgot to mention that I saw a beautiful late-60's Datsun Fairlady on Saturday on New Line Rd near Cherrybrook.
  3. Sounds alright. I should be in...
  4. Happy Birthday!!!
  5. Welcome to the Stagea section of the forums, BoostedBarge, Mr500, 48ngr and nw2boost! I'm betting your new Stageas will bring you plenty of happy motoring!
  6. Ouch! From the damage to the car it looks like you're pretty lucky to survive that with just a bit of concussion! That's definitely a write-off - if the roof is buckled, especially like that, they very rarely bother to fix it. Also, the door sills are equally as bent, as is the A-pillar. Where were you coming from in the intersection, and where was the person who hit you coming from? If you were turning right, from the Give Way sign, into the intersection to go where that white Magna wagon is, then I'd assume you'd be at fault.
  7. My best mate tells me he saw a white M35 with black guard covers (ARX?) on Victoria Rd as he was leaving Darling Harbour on Saturday afternoon.
  8. Yep, the GTR front and GTSt rears will fit, but the shock rates (especially at the back, due to the extra weight of the Stagea) will be completely out of whack. There's not reason why you can't get Stagea-specific shocks for your car and just set them up to the ride height that suits you. Whether they are Sydneykid's Bilstein shocks or something else is totally up to you, but just make sure that they have suitable damping to make sure that it accounts for the weight of the car itself as well as the extra carrying capacity available. Otherwise, you'll be changing shocks too often as they wear out prematurely.
  9. Might as well buy the long block, bernard, and then have some mild port work done to the head so it flows a little better.
  10. Yep, Jaryd, the s1 Stagea runs the s2 R33 engine... Also, run some (carby) cleaner through the AFM, it might help.
  11. Spotted Chubbs, Anna and Mitch this arvo around 3pm Also spotted a gunmetal 33GTSt with a kit about 5 minutes before, turning off the Great Western Highway onto Toongabbie Road...
  12. OMG, it's Caine! Yeah, it sucks that we'd even have to think about changing to a "normal" car due to the total lack of respect of a bunch of f*ckwits who can't keep their hands to themselves...
  13. Nice, Bobbeh! It looks super-clean - very few stone chips on the bonnet, unlike mine...
  14. lol, you're the first person I thought of when I heard this on the news this morning! Except I KNOW that you're not stupid enough to attempt this on a public road.
  15. Wow, that sucks Mona. Damn shame to hear about this, after all the time and effort you put into the car. It's stories like this that make me wonder whether to bother adding a nice set of wheels to my car - the extra attention is clearly not always positive!
  16. Nice! Where have you two been hiding recently? If you're still up for the Thursday cruise up the Coast, I still go almost every week, so just rock up! We really should organise a Sydney Stagea meet-up soon.
  17. Hmm, interesting... Yeah, as Xmetal has implied, I would love a set for my s1. I'll have to keep an eye on this thread and see if there'll be any reason for me to travel to Canberra in the near future.
  18. Ooooohhh, nice one Matt!
  19. Awwww man, Bryce could have at least brought it down to the Thursday night Coasties meet ONCE, couldn't he? *shakes head at Brycey* Oh well, like Ian said, at least it'll be staying within the club. Congratulations, and welcome to the Stagea crew!
  20. 'sif, Matt. Pfft.
  21. It could well be, Duncan...
  22. OMG - oh how I love how well those Watanabe rims suit all the old cars! Gotta love the triple side-draught carbies too.
  23. My sister tells me she keeps seeing a white Stagea around the Toongabbie (NSW) area. She's not sure if it's an s1 or s2, but she has been learning pointers on how to tell them apart, as well as the different Skylines and Silvias.
  24. Nice buy, and welcome to the Stagea community! Yep, as Darrin said, your car has the 260RS front bumper, which I love on both the s1 and s2. I've had my Stagea for almost 3yrs and I still get people looking at it when I'm in traffic, and a lot of people I know ask me what the hell it is.
  25. That would be me Tangles is talking about. Yep, I use the Trust GReddy/GRex one too - I can't remember how much I paid for it, but it was a fair chunk under $200. Just make sure you PROPERLY secure all the lines as you put it on. They're a bit hard to install (the oil lines are pretty stiff and hard to bend into place for where it needs to be), but it's a short-term pain for long-term gain thing...
