  1. Merry Christmas everyone!!!
  2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SMOKEH!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Spotted a white series 2 on Victoria Avenue in Castle Hill, plates were BDS-22-T. It looks like it might have been coming out of Hills Motorsports. Gave a beep and a thumbs up, and got the same back from the driver - he had a massive grin on his face too! Nice car, mate!
  4. Spotted Leshy's Stagea at Berowra and then up past Gosford. You have a new stalker...
  5. Some EFI cars have them, not all - haven't checked the Stagea, so I don't know if there is one there or not. It's usually in the line just after where the fuel lines come out of the tank. My old man's Camry (from way back when) had one that got clogged on the way down to Melbourne one year which had him scratching his head for quite a while until it was pointed out by someone else. I've seen it on a few cars, but I couldn't confirm if the Stagea has one or not as I've never checked for it.
  6. Andy, we meet at the Berowra truck stop just off the Pacific Highway at 7.30pm, then leave there at 8.00pm and head North. Some (like myself) just use the freeway, some use the old road (nice corners!). We end up in Erina and hang out there until about 10.30 or 11pm, and sometimes progress to either McDonalds or Krispy Kremes for a coffee or light snack.
  7. Andy and Jetwreck, you should come to the Coastie meets on Thursday nights - I'd love to have a look at an M35 in the flesh too!
  8. You shouldn't be pumping the pedal on ANY fuel-injected car when you're starting it - it's all controlled electronically, so there's no need for you to try and add more fuel to get it started. This might be part of the problem. Also, have you checked the small in-line fuel filter near the tank? That often gets clogged first as it's the nearest filter to the tank, so have a look to see if there's anything blocking it. Oh, and like Kirstie, I never let my fuel level drop below a quarter tank - when the level gets that low there's more of a chance that it the pump will pick up all of the crap that sits on the bottom of the tank, and then your filters will get clogged more quickly.
  9. I voted too...
  10. Awww dammit - I think you're right - I can't find it either...
  11. Alright, thanks Richard. I'll have a look again when I get some spare time. What log-in name do you use for online gaming, peoples? I use the same name as in this (and most) forums...
  12. Dammit, I just created a Japanese account the other night so I could get the demo, and when I went to download the demo it said Prologue was JPY4500 - guess I either missed out or looked at the wrong thing.
  13. Pack me in a suitcase please Richard or Nick... I weigh next to nothing anyway!
  14. I do? Sweeeeeet! Are you still working at the same place, Duncan? I've been spending a lot of time out that way because it's so much easier to shop in Winston Hills, Castle Hill or Baulkham Hills instead of fighting the masses (and the idiots) at Parramatta. What series Golf is it? Mark 4 or 5? Basic model or GTI (or R32 )?
  15. I think (and correct me if I'm wrong, Matt and 32vspecII) that the car would have to be standard (or near enough to standard) when it is at the compliance stage, meaning that the car's specifications would have to match the papers and build plates on the car itself, right?
  16. Spotted a wine red s1 R33 with unpainted s2 rear wing on Old Windsor Road around Stanhope Gardens this arvo, driver was on his P's. Also spotted and cruised with a silver s2 R33 from Toongabbie and on into Parra this arvo around 5.30pm. I gave him a thumbs up and got one back. I think the rego was BCO30W or similar.
  17. Ash, at least you're lucky in the sense that JustJap is close to Autosport Engineering - I don't mind the drive down to JJ (for me it's roughly 40 minutes each way), but the traffic is a pain in the butt and has almost doubled the trip time on a few occasions. Unfortunately for me when I had to return the dump pipe to them I wasn't feeling the best and was subsequently a bit grumpy (although I never would subject anyone else to that - it's not their fault), but their customer service was pretty good and they refunded me (and even offered to replace it with the bellmouth version at no extra cost, but I needed the money at the time), which made me feel a lot better.
  18. A quick note, Matthew: Please be VERY careful about naming and shaming on this forum. If you are to post the particular importer's details on here for public view, then the SAU forum (and its owner) may later be sued for defamation. This is something that none of us want, obviously, as it could well mean the end of the existence of the Skylines Australia forums. As such, we have forum rules stating that no business can be directly named in a negative light. Although I've never personally been in this situation, I have a fair understanding of how pissed off you'd be over the debacle that this has turned into. If you were to offer to PM to other members the details of the business in question then it at least reduces the risk of the forum being sued as above - the information is still being shared, but on more of a "need to know" basis, and it's not really out there for anyone to view and complain about, if you get my meaning... Here's an example. I hope that makes sense. On a more personal note, it's a shame that this has led to your loss of interest in owning a Stagea and being on these forums - I don't think that any of us C34 owners are unhappy with our decisions to buy these cars, and I wish you'd been one of the lucky ones who would have been able to bring the love with some M35 goodness. It's a damned shame! Anyway, in whatever you choose to do next (and I'm hoping you either get your car or a settlement that will bring you some joy in a new and complianced one), I wish you the best of luck. Nick
  19. OK peoples, due to the crappy weather last weekend, the SAU-NSW Christmas BBQ has been moved to THIS Saturday. Who can make it?
  20. Spotted two today (Tuesday), a black Series 2 on Old Windsor Road in Northmead (near the Shell servo) and had a youngish chick ( mid 20's, maybe) driving and a guy in the passenger seat, and a silver series 1 with a big sticker on the rear window crossing from Church Street in North Parramatta and continuing where it becomes Windsor Road into Northmead. The silver one had a big set of rims on it, though - either chromies or polished. Two Stageas in the space of 3 minutes, and I was in mine too. Outside of a cruise or a meet=up between us on here, what are the chances of that? Unfortunately neither would have seen me - I spotted the black one too late to wave or flash my lights (and I was in the wrong lane anyway, too far away), and I was waiting at the lights behind another car when the silver one passed me...
  21. Here's some photos I've finally had the chance to upload of Sunday's hail - I live pretty close to the border of Seven Hills and Toongabbie. Here's one in my hand for perspective:
  22. Spotted a kitted black R34 GTt on the bridge at Toongabbie, then spotted a black R32 GT-R in the main street of Toongabbie, with rego SL-32-OW (I thought it was Sl!m for a moment, then noticed the fact it was a GT-R, and the slightly different rego).
  23. I might try and do that through someone I know via my cousin. I'll bet he'll be flat chat for quite a while though. I took some photos too, when I've uploaded them I'll link them to this thread. I'm only around 5-10 minutes from James' (lingeringsoul) parents' house, right on the border of Toongabbie and Seven Hills.
  24. Yeah, what Vic said... Can we put our orders in to throw in the back of the Atlas for its trip "home?"
