  1. Not the one I saw, mate, this one had black letters/numbers on a white background - I think it was COP-003 or something similar. Also, my oldies tell me that they've seen a few more in/around my area yesterday. They were with me the other day when I saw the white s2, and Mum said that was NOT one of the ones they saw yesterday...
  2. Unique Autosports do guard rolling, and it's $70 each corner...
  3. Charlie: "Oh God, what is that?" Unicorn 1: "It's a Leoplourodon, Charlie. Unicorn 2: "A magical Leoplourodon." Unicorn 1: "It's going to guide our way to Candy Mountain." Charlie: "Alright guys, you do know there's no actual Candy Mountain, right?" Unicorn 1: "Shun the non-believer!" Unicorn 2: "Shun." Unicorn 1: "Ssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn-dah..." Charlie: "Yeah..." Leoplourodon: "Blurghdahwahalahblahblahblah eeeeaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh" Unicorn 1: "It has spoken!" Unicorn 2: "It has told us the waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy." Charlie: "IT DIDN'T FREAKING SAY ANYTHING!" - it's sssssssooooooooooooo lame, yet sometimes I can't get it out of my head... Saw it about 6 months ago, and my sister (who's 28 and should know better ) still quotes it to this day.
  4. Wow! A Stagea in Germany, that's awesome! Do you have any pictures yet? Be sure to post them up if/when you do. Your city consumption looks pretty high, but just like any car the best bet is to accelerate smoothly and lightly. With that power, unfortunately, the downside is higher consumption. You have roughly 150HP more than most of us here in Australia generally aim for. Do you know what computer is running the engine - is it a modified factory one or is there a piggy-back unit (or a few extra devices) working on the standard ECU? I wonder how fast a Stagea really can go, you might well be the person to answer this for us (if yours isn't speed restricted). Oh, and welcome to the Stagea section of these forums!
  5. Yeah, it's a piece of... ...history, maybe? All of Lizzeh's cars have a story or two, much like their owner.
  6. Spotted a white R33 GTS25t (pretty sure it was an s1, I was parked a fair bit away) on Best Road in Seven Hills near the St Vinnie's. Was really clean and looked tough, with black or dark grey wheels! Also saw a gunmetal R32 GTSt turning off Powers Road into Station Road in Seven Hills this afternoon - I got a wave from the driver and gave one back! Had black plates with gold lettering. Cheers
  7. Spotted a white S2 parked along the railway line near Seven Hills shopping centre today...
  8. I have a dyno sheet and the AFR's stayed nice and stable all the way through, so the Walbro looks to be doing its job. The car dropped 10kW at the wheels because it now receives the right amount of fuel, but at least I won't have to worry about issues with leaning out. I was surprised they couldn't put in either, Duncan! It IS a fair bit bigger, as I mentioned (I will post photos comparing the 044 to the factory unit), but I assumed they would have taken that into account and sort something out. Oh well... Oh, have you got a PFC for yours yet, and if so which one (R33 or R34)?
  9. Spotted a nice clean black s2 in Seven Hills tonight around 5.50pm, it was crossing the lights where Prospect Highway splits to become Seven Hills Rd and Abbott Rds, looked like it was maybe heading towards the M2.
  10. Spotted a silver R32 4-door yesterday afternoon on Parramatta Road opposite Flemington markets, heading East...
  11. Yeah, what's with that?!?!?! Surely you DID feel the cold that day, didn't you Adam? Also, Chris Easton mentioned the "mud" and everyone in the background was wearing jackets and jumpers, etc.
  12. As far as I know, Adam, the A8 has an all-aluminium body, because it's their flagship model. This could be another reason why the reception is compromised. Then again, it does reduce the risk of rust if they were to drill into the body. True, I'm pretty sure all manufacturers leave a small section of windscreen "unprotected" for this purpose, and it's usually right under the rear-view mirror.
  13. Happy birthday VICTOR!!! One step closer to legally getting your driver's license.
  14. Spotted two 911s today, one was a black 997 in Castle Hill and the other was a white 996 in Seven Hills coming off the M2...
  15. I just LOL'd - that's gold, Adam!
  16. Was a good dinner - thanks to Adam for organising it! Smoky was walking around with a camera, wasn't he?
  17. I forgot to mention I saw four Skylines (2x R32's and 2x R33's, if I remember correctly), on my way home from the dinner late Saturday night. Spotted them at the intersection of the Cumberland Highway and Great Western Highway in Wentworthville. There was also a white VP Commonbore SS which might have been cruising with them too.
  18. Nope, not a direct fit - I bought one and it couldn't be fitted. I've compared it to the standard factory pump, and the 044 is almost double the size. Best bet is (probably) a Walbro upgrade pump or the Nismo pump - at least they'll come a lot closer to being a direct fit. The Walbro, if purchased from Unique Autosports, comes with a fitting kit to make it easier.
  19. No, there's no such thing as an Auto 260RS. Remember, the 260RS is effectively a GT-R-specification Stagea, and there are no auto GT-Rs either...
  20. Spotted a bright green R31 during the day, but I can't for the life of me remember what time it was or where it was that I saw it.
  21. Happy birthday Shaun.
  22. Malcolm's car was done by Louie - his car is one of the cleanest Skylines in Australia, and it's all gotta start somewhere. Check out the latest issue of HPI magazine (issue 86, also with the article on the Wakefield Park day) to see it for yourself.
  23. Spotted a whole bunch of Aston Martins, Porsches and various other luxo-mobiles just then, as I went with my old man to Trivett to pick up a car. All of Trivett's service centres are grouped together in Parra/Rosehill. Didn't see Samuel (WTF33R)'s car tho... Also saw an AMG SLK about 10 minutes later - not sure if it was an SLK55 or 63 or what, but it sounded HOT!!!
  24. Another thing to consider is that tyres are THE ONLY CONTACT your car has with the road, so even if you have the best suspension, steering, brakes and drive-line combination you could possibly achieve, then it all turns to sh!t if you have ordinary tyres on the car. If you can afford to spend a bit more, it may well save your life one day, so it's a worthwhile investment. And don't bother comparing brand against brand, it's more "accurate" (I can't think of a better way to describe it right now, but...) to compare TYRE against TYRE. An example: Falken make two tyres which are at opposite ends of what they may consider "performance" tyres - their Ziex range is total crap (I know this from experience), yet their Azenis range has received lots of praise, and is one of the tyres I'll be considering when I update. Duncan himself swears by them.
