  1. Spotted a few R33 GTSt's on the way into the city tonight, all of them were white, one had LAMBOS rego plates. That's the only one I remember...
  2. I had that idea in my head for when we went down to Sutton Rd, Jess, but then when we got there I forgot all about it! I'm not good in mornings, so by the time I would have remembered (not that I did...) it would have been time to go home, anyway.
  3. Paid for me + 1.
  4. As far as I can remember, the airbag one is the one right at the back in the last of those pics I posted. I'm not sure if it's a g-sensor or just the triggering device, or maybe both are in the same unit. Here's another pic of it:
  5. Really? I didn't know that they were all s3's, but then again I've never really researched it that much either. I wonder if there were any of the Autech R32's there with the atmo RB26DE. They looked hot!
  6. Oh, by the way, last I heard JustJap had a Stagea front cut. It might be an idea to see if they've still got enough of the car there that the sensor is still in it.
  7. Like Duncan and Leshy have pointed out, the manual conversion requires it to be moved. This is where it is in mine, dunno about the Duncan's, Leshy's or anyone else's.
  8. Agreed! What a nutter! He even got some drift-style slides happening, with a Scandinavian flick to wash off some speed in one or two corners...
  9. Awesome shots and beautiful cars! These cars are done up exactly how I love - tough but effective mods, and very little in the way of the "bling" factor that you see here in Oz. My favourites: the MCR R34, the dark purple R34 with the Z-Tune style guards, the dark blue V-Spec II R32 and the white R34 directly after it (with the bronze Volk RE-30s). If that 4-door R33 Autech GT-R was a series one, that would have been in my list too.
  10. Happy 3rd birthday, Richard! Beers are required, so bring it on, my little robot friend!!!
  11. You haven't specified if you prefer one particular model of Skyline, but if you like R32s you might also want to keep an eye out for the GTS25, which is a non-turbo RB25DE. It has the advantage of a bit more torque than the RB20DE in the R32 GTS, and is still P-plate friendly. Otherwise, if you're happy to spend the whole 15K on just the car, and wait a while to save up for other mods, then I'd personally go the R34 GT.
  12. Yep, good job to Brendan for winning the best Stagea award on the day! It was very well deserved, even though ALL of the Stageas there were well presented (except mine, I was so busy leading up to the event and helping out on the day that I didn't get time to detail or even wash my car!) More information is here, and the article was very well written by one of our own here at SAU - Andrew "nuttsHunglow" Hearne. Quite a number of the photos were taken by SAU people as well.
  13. Happy birthday, Corinne!
  14. Happy Birthday, big Jase! Hope you had a good weekend!
  15. Happy Birthday, ElJay! :rb26dettsandbnr32sandstuff:
  16. I spotted a white s2 with a kit in Blacktown @ 6pm last night...
  17. Just Jap have a few different ones available - I bought one of their own JJR ones (to suit an R33) and it wouldn't fit my s1, maybe because mine has been converted to manual and the pipe would have rubbed/hit on the body where there looks to be another point to mount the gearbox. The R34 X-Force one they sell looks to be a better fit, as it has a kink in it which looks roughly where the mount is on my car. I returned the other one, and haven't yet bought the R34 X-Force one to fit up. Here's the JJR one for the R33: Here's the X-Force one for the R34 (see how it kinks near the end?): If/when i do upgrade my standard one, I might take it off the car and take it down there so I KNOW that the R34 X-Force one is a closer fit than than the JJR one I returned... Oh, and the guys at Unique Autosports told me that they're getting better results (both response and power) with the non-turbulence X-Force style than the JJR split style ones.
  18. Yep, issue 85 it is...
  19. Could anyone who has a Texikhana shirt that has faded in the wash please send me a PM - I'm going to get them either repaired or replaced as they should NOT be fading (unless you're happy to keep it as a rag for the car or whatever). Please let me know ASAP, so arrangements can be made for delivery or pick-up somehow!!!
  20. Do you always speak in the third person, Ed? ROFPMSL I can't run, Joe, due to my health. Might drive, though - how does that sound?
  21. Nice one Ed! The interior shots look exactly the same as my old man's 1.8T, except his Recaros aren't as hardcore as the ones in the S4. Still got black leather though, with electric lumbar support. I tried to push him to get the quattro with the extra 22kW and six-speeder, but he settled for a Tiptronic in "Agate Grey" - he reckons he's too much of an old man to bother with a manual box anymore. The ride is bloody stiff at low speeds though, unless you've got a load in the car to take away the initial hardness. Once you're doing 60km/h or more it's alright though.
  22. So who's up for it this week? Talej, Brycey, Joe, Brendan, Matthew, Ian (Xmetal) and Ian (StageIan)?
  23. I'll come along. I know what will get you there: let's make a bet on your attendance?!?! Don't you wanna finally become an adult, Vic?
  24. I'm pretty sure I spotted two new Jaguar XK-F on Saturday morning.
