  1. * Goes to visit Sam at work * Man, I used to work just down the road in George Street in Parra, and on occasion I used to drive down past your work to jump on James Ruse Drive, then go home through there and Old Windsor Road. There was ALWAYS something nice to look at out there.
  2. See that warning thing just below your name, Drew? Watch yourself... <-------------------------------------------- lol
  3. Correct, the lump kinda looks like a single-cam old-school SR, except the spark plugs go in the side of the head, not the top - the cam would be in the way...
  4. Unfortunately, Yudi, the fact that there are quite a few people using them doesn't make them any more legal... I would love one, but don't (and probably won't) have the funds to dedicate to this any time soon. Need to do a few other more important things to the car for now, then I'll focus on some minor cosmetic stuff.
  5. No Whey!!!???!!!???111???
  6. That width and offset should be fine, Ray. R34 GTR wheels are 9" wide and are a pretty common fitment on Stageas. If you've got an AWD Stagea, make sure you keep the same width wheels front and rear, or AT LEAST have the same rolling diameter at each end. That way, you won't stuff up your transfer case due to different wheel speeds at each axle. And, as you've already mentioned, you can rotate tyres without any hassles.
  7. Spotted red s1, rego STA63A - strange thing is he's had the car for two years and lives fairly close to me, yet this is the first time we've crossed paths...
  8. Oh it'd be soooooo nice to own an old RS2...
  9. Wreckers, maybe? Sydney: JustJap SSS Adelaide: NissWreck
  10. No, I don't have his number unfortunately Ryan. But I have met him and spoken to him extensively, and he knows his sh!t, so like Yudi says, it'll be worth the wait if you order through him...
  11. You'll keep it in mind? Don't think about it, DO IT! Save yourself the heart-ache if this happens again...
  12. Sydneykid's kits use Whiteline bars and Bilstein shocks, and all the info (part numbers, etc.) is in the beginning of this thread or the other (group buy) thread, so if worst comes to worst and he can't be reached then you should be able to source most parts quite easily.
  13. The grills with the bars in them are the lower-grade X- and G-spec models. This one below is a WH-C34 20G, which means it has an RB20DE and auto box. The series 1 version of the 20G didn't even have DOHC - how much would that suck! A two-litre, single-cam, automatic struggling with the weight of a Stagea... More information...... HERE!
  14. What engine is it, Duncan? Single cam, 8-valve CA-18?
  15. Nice work, Paul. Stickied in the Stagea DIY section...
  16. "More information please, Leigh." /end game show host voice...
  17. Happy birthday Woof! BTW: Trance and hardcore make baby Jesus cry! (Not that I really care, but it hurts my head too...)
  18. This might be far from wacky for some, but I've never seen one in the flesh... http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=10903
  19. Blitz and Trust do make an FMIC each, but I doubt you'd get one in for your $600 target, unfortunately. I do believe that they're both a return-type cooler, which is perfect for your application (and, eventually, mine too), but you should CONFIRM this before you order, if this is the way you end up going... Blitz part #: 12331 Trust GReddy part #: 12020467 I'm sure ARC make one as well, but I can't find the info on their site.
  20. Me too! Only got home at 7.30 anyway, so I wouldn't have been able to make it anyway, unfortunately.
  21. Agreed! Looks awesome, Wil!
  22. Merrylands is the next suburb along from Greystanes, but Greystanes is closer to Wetherill Park. As Charlie said, Merrylands has a train station and a better shopping area than Greystanes, but there's not really much in it between the two suburbs...
  23. Hmm, I was expecting 125-130rwkW, It was... It had me stunned too! Lean-out power FTW! But risk of melted pistons (or worse) FTL!!! New fuel pump coming up in a few weeks, and until then it's cruise, no major loads, and no big revs...
  24. Correct, it's a Dolphin Aeroform rear spoiler - definitely not to my tastes either! http://www.freeway-dolphin.co.jp/index.htm
  25. There's a plastics shop in Castle Hill called Gantiel Vensott, in the same complex where UAS used to be and Hills Motorsport still is. They're on the left hand side as you head down towards Hills, and recently I got some black polyethylene (I think) from them. Get yourself a piece 180x60mm and of decent thickness (so you can put screws in the side to keep your gauges safe), and see if they'll drill you three equally-spaced holes of 52mm diameter each (assuming you've got 52mm gauges going in your car). You could do it yourself like I did at home, but the spacing won't be perfect as it's hard to keep even a bench drill perfectly placed when you start to cut the hole - and good luck finding a 52mm hole saw! The closest you'll find is 51mm, so you'll have to drill out the last bit, which is not too physically hard, just frustrating to get right...
