  1. The only problem with Pemulwuy is the risk that - depending on the section of it you choose - you may be living in a shoebox, may only have street parking, and may be subjected to strata. Otherwise, it's a nice new area and very close to all the main shopping regions. And, as Charlie mentioned, Wetheril Park is 2mins away...
  2. That sucks Steve-O. Not much else to day, everyone else has already covered it!
  3. Spotted a black 34GTt today also, this one was wingless at the rear and had tail-lights tinted so dark I couldn't tell when he was braking - definitely needs brighter bulbs in there! This was on Silverwater Rd in Silverwater, heading towards Parra Rd, around lunch time.
  4. Obviously not everyone is the same, but I always rely on my gut instinct. Damned shame tho, hope you get it back...
  5. I'll try and get one for you tomorrow, Alan. I've mounted the gauge in the pod, but it's still not in the car because it's been too cold to work in the garage for my lazy, bony butt... I REALLY feel the cold during winter, so I'm glad it's starting to get warmer...
  6. I'm guessing none of the boys told you anything, Andrew? I was gonna exclude you from guessing, because I thought you might have seen/been told of the results. Nice result for yours though!
  7. Hmm, Major Tangles, there's not much to say here. Manual conversion 3" cat-back exhaust R33 series 1 (steel compressor wheel) turbo, which was a drop-in replacement for when I blew my turbo back in November '05 ...and as far as I know, that about covers the mods. I haven't actually made any performance mods to it since I bought it back in October 2005. Any other guesses?
  8. Alright, I had mine in on the dyno at Unique today, and confirmed that the JustJap combined split dump pipe and front pipe does NOT fit, which was rather annoying... Who wants to guess how much my output was? It was leaning out up high when the high boost kicks in around 5,000rpm or whatever...
  9. Spotted "wolverine" Andrew today at Unique Auto Sports, getting a few things done to his RSFour-S.
  10. Looks tough, Jerome! Not really a fan of red cars, but this one in particular looks really nice, especially with the 260RS front bar and GT-R wheels.
  11. What are the meal prices like, gents? This one is a lot closer to home, so I may come along...
  12. Me too.
  13. As far as I've seen, this hasn't yet been addressed, and it's still a feature I would like to see included. I have tried getting into the habit of clicking "Save" before I send a PM now, but unfortunately I still forget sometimes...
  14. I'm gonna say what everyone else is thinking: You're the kind of person we prefer not to have associated with our car club. Seriously, if you really want to get your charge reduced (and I really hope you change your driving habits when you get your license back), then speak to a solicitor.
  15. What a debacle! All I can think to say is that I wish you the best of luck in sorting it out in your favour, which looks pretty likely at this point in time... AFAIK, the fact that you've got written documentation from the RAWS should help substantially.
  16. Nice one, congratulations!
  17. Hey Ryan, we need payments before the order is made, that way we know we won't be making orders for people who will back out at the last minute, leaving us with stock which is hard to sell...
  18. LOL Oxford, I was actually gonna use that fact instead of the elephant one, but changed my mind at the last moment. Did you know an elephant's ears are like our fingerprints? No two elephant's ears has the same "pattern" on them!
  19. Spotted a white R34 4-door on Cumberland Highway in Wentworthville around 2.30pm today.
  20. That's awesome, John! Make sure you snap off plenty of shots with all of the cars together, as well as the odd competitor car if you can. Hmmm, Biante models is a sponsor, hey? Man, I wish I could get a few 1/18 scale model Stageas to add to my car collection.
  21. I heard there was a topic that people were being diverted away from, and I'm here to do my bit: Did you know that an elephant can't jump? :PBJ: There you go, a useless bit of knowledge for you all! Don't say I never taught you anything...
  22. Spotted the "ORG13Z" mobile today in the council car park in Blacktown, and left a SAU business card on the drivers' side window. I thought it was Mike (or his wife) at first, and went to investigate, because all I copped was a quick glance at a white s2 in my rear-view mirror.
  23. Warning, Josh: the Maxxis MA-Z1's are VERY noisy - my sister had some fitted on her Mazda3 when we put a new set of mags on it. The car itself is really quiet, so the tyre noise is even more noticeable...
  24. Congratulations, Ryan, and welcome to your new addiction! Welcome to the forums too!
  25. I'm with Dale on this one, Grant. Saying that an STi-specced Forester is a "race car" is a bit far-fetched. It is still just a lifted WRX with some extra mods tacked on from the factory's performance arm, and it is still meant for the street. If it was truly meant for racing, they would be using Foresters instead of WRXs in the WRC, etc. Sure, there might be other examples along similar lines to these, such as TRD Caldinas, BMW M3 and M5 Tourings, Audi S4, RS4, S6 and RS6 Avants, and the various Merc AMG estates, but they're still just road cars modified for maximum on-road performance.
