  1. Alright, no worries mate. Ian (StageIan) says he might come up next week too, so here's hoping we can get a few of us together.
  2. Sounds nice! I've got an Alpine deck running Boston splits in the front doors, with matching Boston co-axials in the rear doors, and will be getting a sub and amp once funds allow (most probably Rockford for both).
  3. MappyHour.net Click on Sydney, NSW, I've added the Hellenic Club to the list. We can all add a rating later...
  4. Yeah, I might do that for the time being, Andrew. Thanks for that. Cool, thanks Bryce I'm going to scan the local wreckers (JustJap, the Toy Shop, etc.) and see if they have any, and if not then I'll get someone to order me one through Yahoo JP.
  5. Hmmm, since we can't really claim page stretches anymore, heres my alternative: *WHEELBASE SSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!111!1!!!!!11!!!!*
  6. I was gonna mention that, but figured you'd lock onto it sooner or later...
  7. I have been for a while, Yudy, even for quite some time before Cyrus left.
  8. hahaha, beastien and I have discussed that at length, but he has very few (if any) other options...
  9. Bryce and Matthew (and whoever else), I'll be heading up tomorrow night!
  10. Spotted a white s1 R33 today in Seven Hills, with no rear wing and primered/matt black bootlid. It pulled out of one of the factory complexes near where the new NRMA service centre workshop is, then went up towards Blacktown via Wall Park Avenue and onto Main Street past Blacktown hospital.
  11. Like everyone else has already said, Cy, you will be greatly missed here on SAU - so MAKE SURE you come back to visit us (especially in the Stagea section) regularly. I'm hoping this is a "See you later" instead of a "Goodbye." Either way, keep well, take care of the wife, kids, mortgage, and yourself, and here's to a future with another Skyline, Stagea or other import in your possession.
  12. My condolences, Ska... First to lose the Stagea, then to have to be subjected to a Commodore, then to be forced into flannies and trackies almost permanently (the stonewash jeans and "good" flannies can come out for special events, right?)...
  13. Spotted a white R33 on Kissing Point Road heading towards Silverwater Rd at around 6.30 pm. Also spotted a silver R34 GTt in Macquarie St, Parramatta at around 10.30 tonight.
  14. Nice shots, everyone!
  15. Hmmm, now as far as NSW ownership goes, there are quite a few of you who live in the Newcastle, Hunter and Central Coast regions. Seeing as we haven't yet had a chance to catch up properly (apart from the SnS, and I was too busy running the merchandise stand), what say we all join in on the weekly Thursday night meet-up? I went two weeks ago, and plan to go at least once a fortnight. Of course, I was the only Stagea there, but I'd like to change this. Now, I'm not too sure how far down it is for you guys and girls, so I'm just putting the idea out there. A few notes for those who are keen to join us: the Sydney crew usually meet at the truckstop at Berowra @ 7.30pm, and leave @ 8pm. ANYONE is welcome as long as you DO NOT act like a knob and draw negative attention to us, either on the way there or back, or at the actual meet spot(s) this is a social gathering and a good chance to meet up with the Central Coast Skyline crew we do occasionally go for a cruise, but that's all it is - we DO NOT race each other on the street, nor do we condone this More details can be found HERE...
  16. They CAN be a reliable car, but don't forget that you're buying a car built between 1989 and 1994, so that makes it between 13 and 18 years old. If the previous owner(s) have been fastidious in their maintenance and not given it too much abuse, then you should count your lucky stars if nothing goes seriously wrong while you own it. Face it, a GT-R was made to be driven hard, right? What's not to say that the previous owner(s) have not given it at least the occasional squirt here and there?
  17. Here's an Aston Martin, it's the "Vanquish Bertone Jet 2:"
  18. C'mon peoples, these are nice warm jackets perfect for the winter we're suffering at the moment... They're also available in blue!
  19. I won't buy one or get my licence simply because I may well be tempted to push just that little bit too hard one day and come off worse for wear! And there's also the factor of too many drivers who are barely able to give a sh!t about anyone else on the road, let alone those on bikes... I've spent too much time in hospital in my life to want to tempt that fate again! I'd love to own and ride a bike, but won't do it. For me the risk outweighs the benefits. I do have a few friends who ride though, so if you need people to ride with let me know.
  20. i roc, fatz? I ROCing is bad for your health: Going with a new Camaro, though, is forgivable...
  21. There are some true wide-body conversions getting around Japan, but most of them look scary-ugly. A Google search or a search of this thread might show some of them.
  22. Ahhh dammit, I forgot all about this, but was stuck at home with a killer migraine all Saturday arvo and most of Sunday. At least I don't get them as often as I used to, though...
  23. Mine's an offcut I got from a place in Castle Hill, in the complex where UAS used to be. It's polyethylene, and I think it's around about 10mm too. It was already black, so there was no need to paint or colur it in anyway, it already comes pretty close to matching the colour of the AirCon control panel. It was pretty hard to get the spacing right, especially since we did it at home with a hole-saw which was 51mm, and the gauges are 52mm, so you have to file out the extra space to squeeze them in.
