  1. Spotted a silver s1 C34 parked on Dunmore Street in Wentworthville this arvo, seen it there a few times now. Rego is CGB-something.
  2. Forgot to mention this the other day, and it's far from a Supercar. It was pretty decent for its time when it came out though - I spotted an old Mazda 626 coupe in mint, original spec during the week. It was the factory two-tone silver over blue with a red stripe, had factory alloys, etc. I'll post a link of what model it was when I jump on a PC.
  3. Batteries dying shouldn't have any effect on how the photos turn out. User error? Car looks good though, and I reckon some wheels just look better without the centre caps
  4. I can't stop staring at the entrance way appearing like it's sinking into middle earth. Your drugs, I would like to sample them... LOL
  5. Good work! Saw Terry today, he mentioned you would be joining.
  6. Crap, the SAU-NSW Club AGM is on that day, and as the current VP, I have to be there. Speaking of which, more of you guys and girls should join the club.
  7. I spotted a silver s2 C34 around 10.45 this morning, it was turning left onto The Northern Road in Penrith and I beeped as I went past.
  8. People, we still have plenty of merchandise available for sale.
  9. Our next Texikhana event thread has been posted in the Events section. June 10th, which is the Monday of the Queen's birthday long weekend.

  11. Sorry uncle Drunkan, yes I was too lazy. My car was parked in the carpark, I reversed into my spot so it was probably slightly less noticeable.
  12. Spotted Gavin in his yellow C34 and Alex in his PNM35 tonight at the SAU-NSW tech night @ JEM.
  13. Agreed, massive thanks to Adam, Bobby and the rest of the JEM crew!
  14. It's packed, I'll see you there.
  15. You'll be so much more stable now when you hard park with the wheels turned!
  16. LOL, I love how all you sandgropers refer to every place as being either North or South of the river. I've gotta get myself back to Perth one day soon, it's a pretty nice place... I couldn't live there, but it's great for a quiet break.

(Thanks Owen) available HERE (Click me baby) Those of you that have been to one of these before will agree, this is THE best money you can spend as far as driving time for an event. The event will be run after run until 4.30pm, and considering most runs are under 1 minute AND that we're kicking off at 9am, that's a lot of runs This is a safe event where you only go as hard as you want to, there's no pressure, one car on a course at a time. Perfect for beginners to have a first try at driving their pride and joy off the streets. With that said, there's usually some friendly competition between mates, which is great to watch Timing for the day; Scrutineering/sign on starts 7.00am Scrutineering/sign on ends 8.30am (don't show up at 8.25am, come with plenty of time to spare) Drivers brief 8.40am (mandatory attendance for all drivers) Runs start 9.00am Lunch approx 12.30pm depending on how the day is going (One hour) Runs stop 4.45pm Gates close 5.00pm Entrants please note: - All entered cars must arrive in time for and pass scrutineering, no exceptions. - All drivers must be licensed (AASA or CAMS) and show valid licence and expiry date at sign on. - All cars must have an insurance approved fire extinguisher secured within drivers reach. - Sidepipes are not allowed. Screamers/external gates venting to atmosphere are also not allowed to be entered. No exceptions (this is not my choice, I ♥ gate) - Entries are open now, entries close as stated in Supplementary Regulations (at bottom of this post) to allow time for officials to organise paperwork. - Supp regs and Entry Form are attached. Entry forms without payment will be rejected. - Yes you can join SAU-NSW on the day (allow an extra 5mins at sign on) - Yes you can organise an AASA or CAMS licence on the day (allow extra 10mins at sign on) - There is no EFTPOS/Credit Card machine on site, so bring cash and we will have change there for you. If you can bring close to the right amount, that's helpful. 18. I might come along, Braden. Will confirm closer to the date.
  19. Hey Matt, welcome to the forums. It's been done before, and it will require a change of panels, bonnet and front bumper, as well as the lights. There should be a thread about it, do a search for "series 1.5" or something similar in this part of the forums.
  20. Spotted a silver s1 C34 with black wheels parked on Dunmore Street in Wenty yesterday around 7pm, about 10 houses up from the pools.
  21. Is yours an s1 or s2, Nick? Alex, I'll have to check if the caliper bolts are 12mm, like you mentioned they *might* be on Saturday. If so, that would make it easier, and if not then ill get some sleeves from Scott. And UAS are around the corner from me - literally across the other side of the field at the end of my street, actually - but they can be majorly expensive!
  22. This baby is still waiting for a new owner.
  23. Okay, possibly stupid question (mostly because it's probably been answered somewhere in here, but I CBF looking through 70-odd pages): I want to replace the front calipers on my s1 C34, and I know I need the sleeves to reduce the bolt holes from 14mm down to 12mm, but what should the sleeves be made from and/or where should I get them? I've already got a set of R32 GT-R Sumitumo front calipers sitting here waiting for me... Also, can I upsize the diameter of the rotors, seeing as I'll probably replace them with slotted ones anyway (front and rear)? If so, by how much?
  24. Yep, make sure your rolling diameters are the same front and rear... It's much cheaper and easier to choose the right diameters than it is to remove, repair and replace the transfer case.
