  1. Dude, I thought R33s were whales, and Z32 300ZXs were the boats!?!?!?!?
  2. I was gonna stop, turn around and drop an SAU-NSW business card on it, but I had a headache and just wanted to get home... I might give you a batch on Sunday, Ian, so you can drop one off when you see it next. Any chance that you can print a copy of the flyer for this weekend's show and leave it on there? They might turn up.
  3. No you don't have to be IN the show to join the cruise, but why don't you enter? Your car DOESN'T have to be some super-stunning show car that would otherwise get trailered everywhere to enter the show. The key to this show is PARTICIPATION!!! Come along Have some fun Make some friends Meet other Skyline owners and enthusiasts Learn some stuff about your car, or what others have done to theirs to get the results they have Share your knowledge and experiences so we can all learn Be part of the ever-growing Skylines Australia community! Yes, you can bring other cars along - the show is for Skyline and Nissan enthusiasts (i.e. you don't have to own one), but anyone who appreciates cars is welcome. More information is available HERE...
  4. Not sure, the NGK website doesn't include any Neo-engined cars in their listing... Might be best to ring them up or contact your local spare parts joint. If you're an SAU NSW member, Bryce, then ring up Lincorp (Parramatta Nissan) and ask them - you'll also be eligible for a discount. Have a look in NSW -> NSW Members' Area -> SAU NSW Sponsors -> Club discounts at Lincorp.
  5. Reminds me of this t-shirt from a mob in America that I buy heaps of stuff from - Threadless t-shirts (link in my sig):
  6. yeah, but it's kinda annoying that the stereo fits but the surround doesn't, and the same with the guage holder... Don't have a dremel, but The Grumpy Old Man has about a million different files lying around which should suit the purpose.
  7. Yep, that's right - the only thing to worry about is that the locating lug feels like it's going to break before it lets go of the parkers. I can only assume the s2 is the same or vrey similar in the removal process...
  8. Spotted a nice white R34 GTt this arvo on Cumberland Highway in Northmead and onto Fitzwilliam Road in Toongabbie. It had gold VolK GT-C's on it, dark tinted windows (I couldn't see inside it, so if you waved and I didn't return the wave, sorry!) and the plates were JZ-45-something-something. Nice car!
  9. How can you not love that car?!?!?! Sounds like it's not even trying! Sh!t, I've still gotta post AboBob's and OzGTR's dyno runs. Might do that now.
  10. I agree with Sammeh! Where the hell is Glenville anyway, Steven?
  11. When I installed my stereo, the surround for the head unit refused to go on either behind or in front of the surround, and now that I've bought a DIN-sized gauge holder for my car, I'm having the same issues... Has anyone noticed that the actual dash piece is slightly smaller than the regular DIN size? Or is it just me?
  12. *practices with nun-chucks, hits himself in the nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn... ...kneecap*
  13. Have a look at the Shooting Brake website... Some extremely unusual stuff in there!
  14. Updated current model Ford Mustang For all of us Skyline and Stagea drivers who are/were Corolla drivers, how about the good ol' Tercel/Corolla 4WD? The Pontiac Solstice: The Audi Shooting Brake concept (yep, its official name): The Renault Altica: The Porsche 924: FYI - the Sultan of Brunei has had HEAPS of custom cars made up by all the big makers, and quite a few of them are Shooting Brake/Estate/wagon versions of supercars and luxury cars... Lucky bastard!
  15. Spotted a white s2 parked out the front of some little convenience store on Mowbray Rd in Chatswood today, I think the number plates were AUQ-something something something... Nice!
  16. Sad to hear about your dad, dude! Looks like he'd built himself a beautiful car (or a whole garage of them), shame he's not here to continue to enjoy it... To answer your question, the Dayz edition is mostly just styling mods as far as my research goes. The front bar is the first give-away, mine has the standard bar as per the attached pic. Auto headlights are on mine too, and I think they're standard across the range as well (or at least across the higher-spec ones we'll ever receive in Australia). Have a look at the Buyer's Guide, it should give you a decent idea of what options most Stageas have - unfortunately I haven't had a chance to update it for a while.
  17. That's what I was gonna say, Darrin - everyone else has mentioned removing carpet, air-con, seats, etc but you specified that you wanted to keep most of your creature comforts to use as a genuine family car...
  18. Way to rain on our parade*, James!!! * please substitute "parade" for "Show and Shine" where appropriate...
  19. Birthday greetings, Anna!
  20. That's funny, here I am thinking "Hey, Canterbury Rd doesn't take you anywhere near Surry Hills..." ...but that's because I'm in Sydney and you're not.
  21. Yeah, it seems that way Joe! You'll be able to tell if you're a member if you go to the NSW section and check if you have access to the Member's thread. There's still a problem with the member tags appearing on each person's details, and I think it's being looked into. It works for some people and not for others. I should have a Member tag, as well as a NSW Exec one and a Moderator tag as well. They're all missing for me, but I have access to all the necessary areas, which is the main thing.
  22. Duncan is a Sydney-sider, and he owns a white s1.
  23. JustJap do oil cooler kits too: www.JustJap.com
  24. It moves your oild filter mount up onto your strut tower so that it's easier to reach when you do your oil and filter changes. Can be bought with or without an oil cooler. Most oil cooler kits come with the relocation kit included (not sure if all do, though).
