  1. Spotted a bunch of clowns and their Skylines at Oran Park. On my way home from the Drift Day, I spotted a wine red R33 (maybe series 1.5, didn't have time to check properly) pulled over by a cop on the M7. Hope you weren't pulled over for doing anything silly, especially on a Double Demerit weekend. Also, I hope you didn't get reemed just because you choose to own and drive something "different." Dude, Stagea spottings go here! Was it dark green or light green? Man, I love having a wagon - drove into an RBT set-up this morning on my way down to the Drift Day, did the test, then drove out without a second glance from the 10 or so cops there, even after all the exhaust popping on overrun on the approach, and a little rev on the way out to see if they'd notice. I was stunned no-one even looked, especially since my exhaust is so loud!
  2. Cool! Were you there with JustJap, or did you just happen to park near their truck? And where abouts are you from, roughly? I wasn't on the track, just there to spectate. My Stag was in the parking lot...
  3. My d/l and u/l speeds suck tonight, for some reason...
  4. Suggestion: The Central Hotel, Blacktown. Good, cheap food, close to the station and taxi stand for those not driving, decent parking, and Blacktown is not anywhere near as bad as it used to be (or is still hyped to be by the media). Oh, and DJ Albert works there, so I have just volunteered him to give us cheap (i.e. free) drinks for the whole night... * *Disclaimer: this is most likely NOT going to happen, but it's worth a try, right?
  5. Eugene, we were all sitting under and around the "shed" thing right near the track entry. There were about 15-20 of us, so you shouldn't have missed us...
  6. Saw a white S1 today at the Initial Drift/SAU Drift Day - one of the very few times I turn up to an SAU event or meet-up and I'm NOT the only Stagea owner there...
  7. Cool! Nice buy. Got any pics yet, and are you in Sydney? There are a growing number of us now - not quite as many as Perth yet, but we're getting there...
  8. And again just 10mins later:
  9. That looks super clean! Nice job.
  10. VW Nats is on this weekend too at Fairfield Showgrounds, I usually go to support my friend and his family. He has a '57 Oval for himself, another two Ovals for his sons (one each, yet they're only 2 and 3 years old), and yet another Oval he's building into a race car. His old man's got a Type 3/4 Karmann Ghia (super-rare) which is in the middle of restoration, and his brother has a lowered Type 3 wagon with venetian blinds and a roof rack basket.
  11. There are soooooooo many good places to eat in Parra, especially if you focus on the Church Street food strip or the new section at Westfields where the bus/taxi/railway interchange is. The problem is the lack of decent parking and the amount of traffic you have to contend with. This will be especially bad if we choose these areas on a Thursday due to late night shopping. Luckily, there are plenty of good alternatives if we venture silghtly out of the main areas, or even into the surrounding suburbs, including North up to Castle Hill, West out towards and including Blacktown, or South out to Merrylands and Greystanes. I'll try and think of a few suggestions and will post them up.
  12. received... I'll post up a link in the appropriate area and see if there's anything the Mods, Admins or Execs can do within our powers to chase this up... Shame it has to come to this, why can't people be more honest!?!?!?
  13. That's right, if you take the Cumberland Highway exit you have to enter the carpark from BEHIND the restaurant. Alternatively, if you're heading West on the M4, you can get off one exit before the Cumberland at Coleman Street (follow the signs to Westmead Hospital), turn right at the roundabout at the top, then left onto the Great Western Highway. Chilli's will be on your left hand side just past the bus T-Way crossing on Old Prospect Road. It's between SuperCheap Autos and an NAPF electronics store. I should be there too, BTW.
  14. Hahahaha Dare you to add it to your next set, Wayne!
  15. I'm keen on the Defi Exhaust Temp Gauge, assuming it's the DF-02406. Will check my finances in the next few days and let you know via PM...
  16. Me? There's nothing to see, it's all hidden behind the factory grills, and I'm gonna try and make the sub box look as close to factory as possible when I get that done. Stealth installs, FTW!!!
  17. Leshy, you're never too old for a quality listening experience... I've got my 6" spilts in the front, 6" co-axials in the back, and need a small amp and sub to finish it off now. I'll be doing the same and putting a box in the corner of the boot, so I can still carry long stuff if I need to.
  18. Happy birthday Kasey!
  19. "But it's so soft," he says... Mesh-style wheels FTW!!! Toit! Toit as well! At least I wasn't holding the camera when Amy did this... "This is my 'I just did a burnout for the first time, aren't I tops?' walk." AAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! *Fonzi* "Heeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy" */Fonzi* Good: Bad: Worse: Teh LI22EH-mobile: Unfortunately, neither I nor Steve took too many pictures - I was too busy keeping blood circulation running to my fingers, and Steve borrowed my camera to take pics of Richard (Beer Baron)'s nice new canards:
  20. Where I live there are quite a few water catchment areas because some parts around me are (or were) prone to flooding when there's heavy rainfall. Sometimes we get people on trail bikes using the catchment areas to go for a ride, so they use the Trail Bike cops to catch them an book them. It's kinda dangerous to have people riding around in these areas because there are plenty of kids playgrounds and sports fields set up for when the weather is good.
  21. Price drop - $5,000 with 12 months rego (the renewal papers have just arrived), or $4,500 with just a pink slip...
  22. I've got a few photos to post up, mostly ones that Steve-O (N1GTR) took with my camera, and I will add them later. Was a good day out, despite the cold and the rain.
  23. Good to hear it's arrived, Marc!
