I've got PS3s on my Stagea and love them in both wet and dry, and just recently put a set of RE003s on my mum's Golf and found them great too in the dry (haven't had a chance to try wet grip), if a little noisy. Nothing turning up the radio won't sort out - the noise is far from excessive.

Looking to be there for this, depending on how early dinner with friends is booked.

Spotted a white M35 today on Old Northern Road in Castle Hill, heading towards Dural and passing Gilbert Avenue just before 2.30pm.

Spotted a silver s2 C34 parked on Wentworth Avenue in Pendle Hill - pretty much the same spot I always see it. Who is this mysterious owner?

LOL, that's been done quite a few times. I've also personally seen an M35 with a BMW roundel badge.

Spotted my own car the other day, when my old man was taking it to get a pink slip for rego. Does that count? It's probably the furthest it's traveled in quite a few months, too.

Could be Millenium Jade, Bob - just that the lighting from the sun affected the colour tone of the photo, maybe?

Just drove the Stagea all of 30 metres, if that! Reversed it out of the garage and driveway, turned it around at the T-intersection on the corner of where my house is, then reversed it back in so it can be tucked up tight against the wall and take up less room in the carport. A light clutch suddenly feels a little bit heavier when you haven't driven a manual for ages... Gonna have to figure out why the radio stopped working, hopefully it's just a fuse and easy to sort out so I can use it more when the weather warms up a bit. Car loves the cold, I don't. Good thing is that it's got a fresh pink slip, thanks to the grumpy old man, LOL. He's driven it more than I have!

Spotted a white R32 GT-R parked at Repco in Blacktown this afternoon, then a white R33 GTS-t (I think - not too sure because it was behind me) on Best Rd in Seven Hills as I was going through the roundabout at KFC and heading past the RSL. I was in my white Golf wagon.

Spotted a white s2 C34 with matte black bonnet and gold wheels this afternoon around 2pm, turning off Darcy Rd onto the Cumberland Highway in Wentworthville.

The thing I dislike about black wheels on any car is that, 99% of the time, you can't see the design of the wheel. Personally, I can't see why someone would bother to fit black wheels on a car if they're just going to get "lost" in the wheel wells. If I'm spending that money to make my car different, I want to be able to see what changes I've made.

Spotted a silver s2 C34 near the airport yesterday, I'd just left the international terminal and was about to turn into the M5 tunnel to head back out west.

Used the M4 to get to the airport today, seems like my usual route of jumping on from Silverwater Rd will still hit me with a toll charge. Massive changes going on though, it's been a long time since I've been through there.

Check the simple things first, battery terminals were my undoing last Thursday night in the Stagea when my car would crank over but not start. Was after midnight and the car was in a fairly safe spot, so I got a lift home and tackled it the next day.

When I used to work in Canterbury, I used to go to work via James Ruse Drive, Kissing Point Road and Silverwater Rd and jump on the M4 from there to avoid the toll. If they're not going to offer refunds like they do for the M5 scheme, then I'll probably travel via that old route on the very rare occasion that I head in towards the city.

Spotted two R34 GT-t coupes today - a black one parked in the carpark at the Home Hub centre at Castle Hill, and a white one parked in the carpark at Winston Hills shopping centre.

Damnit, was keen to go to this, but having visitors over that night.

I actually drove mine last night after quite a while away from it. Didn't travel very far, but enjoyed it nonetheless. Apart from the radio not working (and I'm not sure why, haven't checked it out yet), it was sooo nice to be back in it!!! Was a good night for it too - air was crisp, but not cold, and a bit humid too, so windows down.

Note to all prospective attendeees: there are quite a few good dining/snack options for before or after you attend this event. Parking is pretty decent on Level 4 of Westpoint, with entry via turning left at the roundabout off Alpha Street (opposite K-Mart), then heading up the ramp. It might not be low-car friendly, but my Stagea has never had an issue.

Spotted a white s2 C34 on Richmond Rd heading towards (and very close to) Blacktown tonight around 7pm or so.

I used that same stretch of road over the M4 to get into the freeway again on Saturday afternoon, and it had been patched up. It was better, but still looked like it would open up again with the amount of traffic that goes through there, especially loaded-up trucks.
