  1. I've got the Nismo twin in mine - massive overkill for my car because I'll probably never use it to its full potential, but the clutch is so nice to use and it's quiet (none of the usual multi-plate rattle). It's far from cheap, but I highly recommend it. I had an Exedy in mine and it lasted me 10 months... Fail - especially since I'm mechanically sympathetic and very rarely thrash my car. I think while I had it in the car I did one drag day at WSID (8 runs in total) and a few (maybe 3?) Texikhana skidpan days.
  2. Done. When a date is locked in (and the route we'll be taking), I can edit the first post to add those too. We had a cruise with about 20 of us about 18 months ago, it was great.
  3. I have seen photos which confirm this downgrade, but at least he has a Stagea to make up for it, right?
  4. I'm not from the 'Riff, but I'm out there fairly often visiting friends or family who live out that way.
  5. Are you gonna keep the longer extension cord plugged in while you do your runs?
  6. As long as m35stagea (Christian) doesn't have a problem with it, changing the title to include everyone is an easy fix...
  7. Just spotted a white s2 C34 on Richmond Rd in Woodcroft, and it had L plates on it. Was around 6pm
  8. That would be StageIan. We think it's a Dolphin-style bar.
  9. I might, not sure yet. Got a cousin who's here briefly from the States, so if she's busy I may one along to this instead...
  10. Buy an Ariel Atom V8!
  11. I honestly hate that kinda sh1t. Personally, the fact that someone has chosen to buy and drive a Stagea is awesome in itself, in my opinion. There are only a few who really sway one way or the other towards a particular model, and to the rest the rivalry is just a way to stir each other up for fun.
  12. On Saturday I watched Theo blaze some tyres in RWD mode, and witnessed a white C34 battle (Ryan in his s2, Duncan in his RB30'd s1) on the skid pan @ Texi, then caught up briefly with James and Gav.
  13. I'd love to come along, as a passenger. Might use the opportunity to fire off some photos.
  14. I'm out for this one, got another meet I'm already kinda committed to, and it's close to home too so I can get a fairly early night.
  15. Was a HUGE night, and as Alex said, we're very lucky with the location of the spot we were provided. We had the perfect vantage point to watch heaps of cars coming in. We were located right near the entry/exit. When it got packed, there just happened to be enough room for us all to leave without having to ask people to move cars/barriers, etc. If we'd have had to do that, it would have been an absolute nightmare!
  16. Oh good god, enough negativity about the cops being there. Of course they'll be around, HWP headquarters is VERY close by - just please don't act like an ass-clown on the way into, out of OR at the venue. Like Alex said, those who draw attention to themselves deserve it, and I sincerely hope none of that kind are associated with the forum or Club.
  17. For SAU-NSW membership? Yes there will.
  18. C'mon people, a week and a half to go. Get your entries in for Texi!
  19. I knew nothing about the app either! Is it a sign of old age?
  20. What Duncan said. There are plenty of photos in the DIY Manual Conversion thread, so you can see for yourself what Duncan means when he's advising where to place it if you need to move it.
  21. Oh, I forgot to mention, I saw a white s2 C34 parked (I think it had a trailer attached) on Artisan Road, Seven Hills, right near the corner of Powers Road, on Saturday afternoon.
  22. Last night around 8.45pm I saw a silver M35 (maybe an AXIS, not sure) rolling through the main street in Pendle Hill. I'd just parked and was walking past Woolies when I spotted it. Was that you, Dave?
