  1. Sydney taxi drivers are in a (very idiotic) league of their own... Pretty much goes the same for bus drivers - they think they can just push in anywhere, regardless of the number of vehicles around them and the speed those other vehicles are travelling at the time.
  2. Albert, I was gonna take the easy (i.e. lazy) way out and use the M5 right from Abbott Rd in Seven Hills, but I might come and meet up with you guys in Northmead if it's easier. I've NEVER been booked for anything other than fog lights (they were tinted blue) and the odd parking ticket, and I don't wanna start on a double-demerit weekend. Touch wood *taps forehead*... Cruising it is!
  3. Duncan is selling them here in Sydney (he will ship, of course), and he owns an R32 GT-R race car as well as an s1 Stagea. The link can be found HERE. It might be a fair bit more than the eBay item, but you've also got the knowledge that it should work. PM him to see if it works on the Stagea, as I'm not sure he's tried it yet on his car...
  4. I've never even noticed the pre-tensioners...
  5. Maybe I should have stayed in Canberra one more night and cruised back through via Wakefield to spectate. Oh well...
  6. Spotted a wine red R33 GTSt with gold rims on the freeway today as I was heading home from Canberra.
  7. Sorry dude, I have to disagree. Holding up the traffic ANYWHERE is just plain selfish and very f*cking annoying to other road users... EVEN through George Street on a Saturday night.
  8. As long as this is going to stay as a CRUISE and not a THRASH (especially with double demerits), then I'm still in. My car still ain't running quite right, I've checked, cleaned and re-gapped the plugs, now I gotta borrow a set of s2 coils to see if that's what's causing the misfire/general slugishness.
  9. Agreed! You've all said you love your Stagea's, and yet... Shame on you all...
  10. Welcome, Yunis! There are a few of us in Sydney now, and most of us are in the West and North-West. Roughly what area are you from?
  11. Not sure why it would "restrict" flow in any way, unless the pipes were too small or had too many curves/bends. If there are some tight bends for the air to pass through, then my understanding would be that you'd try and spread that bend over a greater distance so you keep air velocity up. Fair enough that there may be some increased lag due to the longer pipe lengths with a return-feed FMIC, but a standard FMIC would probably have similar lag issues too. Got any photos, Jerome? I'd like to see the results (and I'm sure I'm not the only one). Cheers
  12. Just checked, they're still not listed on the website, but they've only been open a few weeks at the most... When I next drive past I'll have a quick look.
  13. Nice choice of goodies, wish I'd had a chance (and the money - but that's the story of my life) to get you to grab some Defi BF gauges for me... Oh, and WTF are you doing ironing your laptop - you'll void the warranty, dude! >_<
  14. Was that you, Thomas? Didn't recognise you either, because I only got a proper chance to look at you in the rear-view mirror, and I figured it would be a better idea to keep an eye on the road - especially through those curvy bits leading up to Ermington... Heard a small chirp as you left the lights in front of me just before you turned onto Silverwater Rd. Button clutch?
  15. There's a United servo which has just opened up near my house - it used to be an old Mobil. When I next need fuel I'm gonna check if they have Boost 98 and try a few tanks to get an impression of how the car will run long-term. Until now, I would have had to travel quite a distance (and totally out of my way) to get to a United servo, so it's good that I've now got the opportunity to see how it is for myself.
  16. Awesome, thanks for that Richard! And I'm guessing fugu = puffer fish? (Would be kinda unusual if you'd still managed to post replies and images after you'd died from eating the fugu... )
  17. Spotted Dave T04GTR's car on Victoria Road about 4.45pm, but NOT being driven by Dave.
  18. Spotted a Stagea (260RS?) in the background of two of your shots, Richard... Can you get some more shots of those please?
  19. Did you have another chance to add any more exotics to your "kill" list, Snowman?
  20. Nice shots, Richard - keep them coming in! If my old AE94 Corolla dies, I might have to insist my sister replaces the 4A-FE with a black-top 20v. Some suspension work wouldn't go astray either, but for the most part it's been a trusty little car for the (almost) 13yrs we've had it.
  21. What wheels are they, Clint?
  22. Considering that guy in the VL was clearly breaking the code of turning up at a cruise and drawing unwanted attention, I really don't see why he was glorified with putting a picture of him and his car on the forum...
  23. Spotted a white R32 GTSt at the centre in Castle Hill (on Victoria Ave) where the JB Hi-Fi is. Also spotted two white R33 GTSt's on Victoria Ave, one parked in front of Castle Hill Toyota (same side), and the other parked accross the road, opposite the complex where UAS and Hills Motorsport is...
  24. Blast from the past, Andrew. Where have you been hiding?
