  1. *sings: "Astro Boy, Astro Boy, he is brave and gentle and wise.........." *
  2. Nice shots (as per usual) Richard! Looks like you're having fun.
  3. I got my $17(wagon) car wash ($16 for sedans, $22 for 4WD/SUV/MPVs) for $13.50 the other day. Dunno why I payed less, but I wasn't about to complain... Sydney Car Wash, 112-126 Broadway, Chippendale or 347 Windsor Rd, Baulkham Hills. You could always go for a Waterless Car Wash system, like Meguiars have: http://www.meguiars.com.au/water_saver.htm. If the car is REALLY dirty, then do a normal wash (sponge and car-wash fluid) first, then maintain it with the Waterless kit.
  4. Hmm, not sure who that might be... There are two silver Stageas up Newcastle way - "beastien" (Brendan - Raymond Terrace) and "Mum's Taxi" (Krissy - Newcastle, I think), but not sure who has green plates... Hahaha, I didn't think anyone really took notice of the Hulk sticker! I spotted you guys from a fair bit back too, made easier by the fact you were pretty much all together. Yeah, I should be on the cruise set for the 26th...
  5. As far as I know, I'm good for either the 19th or the 26th... Also, I've received word back from the photographer who shot pics for the article in the current High Performace Imports magazine. He said it shouldn't be an issue having us split the cost of the shoot between us, but needs confirmation before he will lock us in... Here is a link to that shoot - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=142681
  6. Correct - the chassis code tells you straight away.
  7. Hahaha, hey Drew. I was driving, and my cousin (his username is "blukie") was talking on the UHF CB's. Didn't get to chat for long because the batteries went dead on the CB - I think I've had the same batteries in there since I bought the thing years ago (it must be at least 4 years)... Who was it that said my car was the "green Camry-looking thing..." over the CB's? Even worse is that someone didn't know what a Stagea was - there are a few up Newcastle way, and they are on the forums too!
  8. Hahah, I looked at these photos and thought "Hey, how did my car get there?," then realised that the dark green S1 has a Days front bar...
  9. Hahahaha, Steve looks REALLY tall in this pic, but then I noticed he's standing next to Victor... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=65457
  10. Spotted a silver and two black R33's (all GTSt's) and a silver R34 GTt sedan heading down the F3, Pennant Hills Rd and the M2 on their way to Friday night drags at EC. All Central Coast and Newcastle people, apparently...
  11. Even easier than Sl!m's instructions, follow the M4 heading East and exit at James Ruse Drive, turn left and head over the large bridge. You'll see Parramatta City Raceway on your right (where they have the speedway and monster truck events), continue along until you see Rosehill Racecourse on your right, and to your left (almost directly opposite) you'll see Hooters and the signs for the BP servo. Turn left at the lights there, and you'll see the entry to both that servo and Hooters.
  12. This man speaks wise words...
  13. 75c is fine, Corinne - as long as it's 75c to each dollar!
  14. Club rules state that now you've mentioned the money, you have to share it amongst us (or, at the very least, give me 75%).
  15. I suggest you send a PM to _8OO5TED_ and see if he can help. AFAIK, he still works for Shannon's, but in a different section. Worst comes to worst, he can put you in touch with someone in the right section... I spoke to him around 2 months ago, and he helped me out, even though he'd already started in his new role there. 16. My old man's got a Camry Sportivo too (2003, I think?), and if it wasn't for the fact he pussied out and bought a 4cyl Auto, it would be a great car! He's also got a 2000-model Audi A4 1.8T (FWD, Tiptronic Auto), and if it wasn't for the fact that the Audi was turbocharged, I'd prefer to drive the Camry. The Audi's (standard) suspension is HARD, and the tail end skips around on bumps and irregularities when you hit them mid-corner... The Camry handles AND rides a lot better than the Audi. Like I said, if it wasn't so gutless as an auto (or had more gears to make up for it), then I'd rather take the Camry out 90% of the time.
  17. WTF? Is that an ichi-goh with wide-bodied-R34 bits, or an R34 with an SR20? C-pillar tells me R34, but the engine bay looks so short... That image from the PS3 look incredible!
  18. I spotted a gunmetal R32 GT-R parked at the Caltex on Vardys Rd in Kings Park. Came back past it on the way home and it was still there...
  19. I'm with Shannon's too, roughly $1400 for coverage of $23K. I'm Rating 1, and have never lost a point on my licence, touch wood. *touches finger to forehead*
  20. Bar Baron? God forbid... ROFLMAO
  21. Maybe the actuator springs have different tensions, causing the higher boost...
  22. Cool, thanks for the replies, guys... If (or more to the point when) I do get to taking it out, Techo, I'll let you know.
  23. I had a feeling it was the same car...
  24. I might be going, Jay... As yet undecided. Only as a spectator, though.
