Hey all... I was thinking of eventually removing the clock from the centre of the dash and maybe replacing it with a centre channel speaker when I get the rest of the stereo done. Brad and Cyrus, I'm guessing you guys have both ripped the complete dash out before, so I'd just like to know if that's necessary, or can I just remove the top section that houses the clock itself without going to all that extra hassle? Also, how much room is there underneath the clock? Cheers, Nick

You're right about the higher asking prices and pushy sales approach. I think they like to leave themselves HEAPS of room to bargain down, though... No, Shayne, can't say I was looking hard enough at the prices of the cars because I was there with my cousin who's looking to replace his R33. If I'd had more time (and if I was looking for myself), then I'd probably have taken more notice of the prices of the V35's and R34's... BTW, there's a silver V35 for sale out the front of a house on the Cumberland Highway in Merrylands, directly across the road from Centenial Gardens (or whatever it's called). Don't know any details about the car, unfortunately, but I've noticed it a few times when I drove through there. Person living there must own or work for a dealership, as there were a few other cars there as well with For Sale signs in/around them.

There's one thing I've discovered after a year of ownership of a Stagea: puck-clutches (or button-clutches, or whatever you wanna call them) SUCK! That's the only thing I really don't like about my car. So yeah, you SHOULD buy one! But we've all already told you that...

Spotted a bunch of Skylines today, and I think (if I can remember correctly) that they were all R33s except one V35 - what is this world coming to!?!? One was a white GTSt with GT wing going along Cumberland highway, crossing Wentworth Avenue in Wenty, another was a white GTSt parked on the grass outside a tyre joint on Cumberland Highway just past Merrylands, another silver GTSt parked in a carpark in Wetherill Park. These were all this morning (Wed 1 Nov). On the way home from Guildford, spotted that silver V35 which is for sale opposite Centenial Park (Merrylands) on Cumberland again. This arvo saw a black R33 GTSt turning right off Fitzwilliam Rd in Toongabbie onto Old Windsor Rd.

Man, I've been in a sh!tty mood all day, but this just brought a smile to my face! Hahaha, what a classic!

I knew a bunch of tools, but I don't hang around them anymore... No wait, you're talking about spanners, screwdrivers and stuff like that, right? Yeah, they're definitely a good idea! And if you got a girlfriend on your birthday, and it really made your day, what did you do the next day?

Fair enough. Once you've got the skirts on, if you have a shoot done any imperfections in the paint can be removed in photoshop - you've seen my car a few times, do you really think my car is anywhere as neat as that shot makes it out to be?

Yep, that's me! Went to see a family friend there. Didn't want to leave it on the street, but there was no room in their driveway... Oh yeah, Steve-O and I spotted a maroon R33 parked at Castle Hill Tavern today around lunch time. I parked next to it, so I'm guessing he/she saw the SAU stickers if they're not already aware of these forums...

Yeah, Andy - that's if you get your own car done. If there's enough interest I'll see if we can get a package deal made up, and if it can be done, we can split the costs amongst whoever is interested... I might come along, not sure yet. Health hasn't been too great recently, so I'll see how I feel over the weekend and decide closer to the day... Who is the other Stagea?

Agreed with Luke and Cy, the car looks awesome! Too bad the official is standing where he is, and those signs in the staging area are in the way too. That would have made a good shot even better! How clean is it!!! Looks nice.

Made some enquiries today about the gear knob covers, and no-one I know has seen one or knows where to get one, unfortunately. Sun visors/heat shields for the front windscreen are currently being researched further, as are the stubby holders/beer coolers. Also looking at steering wheel covers as an alternative to the full windscreen sun visors, we'll see what happens...

Guys (and girls?), what do you think about getting a pro photo shoot done on the day? After seeing the results of the shoot in the latest HPI, and that one shot of my car, I'd really love to see a few shots of the day, or we could organise another day where we can all get together and do it? I spotted a white R33 GTSt (maybe s2, didn't get a chance to look properly) with plates starting with ATQ or AQT, turning right from Seven Hills Rd/Prospect Highway onto Lucas Rd in Seven Hills this arvo, roughly 5.30pm.
