  1. I like twin-tips too, whether it's the twin angle cuts like Alex has posted, or one on each side. Two cannons (in either of these configurations) would look nice on a Stagea, I reckon.
  2. Hahahaha, TWS ownage photos are back - classic!!!
  3. Sounds good, best of luck with it. Roughly whereabouts in "Western Sydney" are you, Mike?
  4. Damn... Bloody ugly American trucks! True, the fact that they didn't integrate and/or allow for the door handles, etc. means that to me it looks like a half-hearted job.
  5. Found the kit HERE.
  6. Could have been, but I can't remember now... I followed it from behind the Workers' Club (near the BlockBuster Video) on Flushcombe Rd, then onto Newton Rd, then onto Main Street. I turned off at Wall Park Avenue.
  7. Hey wolverine, how much was the FMIC, and did you put it in yourself or get them to install it? Looks like a nice, neat job, too.
  8. Unfortunately, it ain't that easy - there isn't a PowerFC available that is a direct plug-in to the Stagea wiring loom (this is that Stagea section of the forums, after all). Getting one to work involves, amongst other things, converting your Stagea to manual (none of the series 1 RB25-engined Stageas were manual, and there are no PFC's for auto Skylines), hacking up the Stagea wiring loom to suit the PowerFC (or vice-versa), and sorting out an alternative method to keep the ATESSA control - most of the Stageas that come into the country are AWD, and there were no RB25DET-engined Skylines that also had the ATESSA system.
  9. Christian, not sure how long ago it was that you started the migration of the Galleries, but I haven't been able to add any images to my gallery for about 2 months... Also, just tried updating my avatar, and I'm unable to do that too. I have tried linking directly off my PC and from another website where I've stored images, but neither work... Cheers, Nick
  10. Your best bet is either to contact some of the bigger and more reputable car audio installers/suppliers or try some of the specialist electronics places like JayCar, etc. Finding a fold-out screen is easy, and there are plenty around from Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood, Clarion, Sony, and some of the smaller brands like NESA, etc. Then it's just a matter of finding a navigation set-up to suit. Most of the navigation stuff here is of the stand-alone variety, like the NAVMAN, ToMTom, Garmin, etc. The one in-dash one that I can think of available here is from VDO-Dayton, but even then it would take up two DIN spaces, unless you mount the control box with the DVD or CD reader (depending on your choice) under your seats. Alpine do have navigation stuff available, but it's o/seas only...
  11. Yeah, postman brings it right to your door, bang-on midnight!!! Just kidding, got home late last night, and didn't turn the computer on till around 11.30pm.
  12. Spotted a black/gunmetal R32 GTR at Westpoint Blacktown tonight when I went to the upstairs cinema/bowling/food court area for a bite to eat. Then saw and followed a white sII R33 turning off Sunnyholt Road into Main Street heading towards the Great Western Highway, and passed a black sI R33 parked outside the Car Audio Excellence sale just opposite Blacktown Hospital...
  13. I'm yet to sit in GTR seats (either that, or I can't remember), but I love the way they look. It's such a clean and simple design, yet functional. The third set looks the best, closely followed by the fourth. I would love leather with perforated leather inserts (which is kinda what the third set looks like anyway), or perforated leather with suede or alcantara. And black/grey or black/dark green to match my paint would be nice. I wouldn't do it if my car was red, yellow or a bright colour, though. Also, don't forget Duncan has sets of seats going at reasonable prices too - link here...
  14. I was gonna ask a question along the same lines...
  15. Now now, no marriage tiffs here, okay?!?!?! Seriously though, I'm betting you'll both be overjoyed when you get to drive them.
  16. Mine arrived today... Thanks Shan.
  17. Haha, might as well trade in the Stagea for this, the Chevy Kodiak:
  18. You could also get a single-DIN head unit with a fold-out screen, then use one DIN slot for the standard a/c and the other for gauges. Getting a navigation device (hidden under a seat or in the boot) with AV outputs is then the next step, and you'll have the whole lot sorted without major dash surgery.
  19. Christian, regarding PM's - is there any way that you can make it so that a PM is automatically saved once sent? I tried looking in the "My Controls" section to see if it was a feature I could enable/disable, but it's not. I find it annoying not being able to read what you've written in a PM once it's been sent, and sometimes when people reply to your PMs they don't include what you'd originally sent to them, so there is the chance of a breakdown in communications due to lost info... Thanks in advance, Nick
  20. Maybe the alternator?
  21. 1JZ's and 2JZ's rock!
  22. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge... So many old-schoolers here now! Welcome back, all! I still remember watching the old TWS vs. TNS ownage threads...
  23. Spotted a gunmetal R33 with "Traffic" numberplates heading up Church Street towards Windsor Rd in Northmead...
  24. Thought so. SR20 into an '86 should make for an excellent combo!
