  1. Accord Euro is quite a nice-looking car and (according to the new car mags) apparently a good bit of kit. I wouln't mind one myself if I was in the market for a new car! Would throw that into the mix with a Mazda6 and Subaru Liberty (especially the R-spec B wagon), and decide after a drive of all three. Yeah Paul, still living around Parra. (Never did live IN Parra, but I've lived my whole life under Parramatta council, if that counts for anything...)
  2. That's right, I do remember that! Sucks hearing about cars getting stolen, I hope it's something I never have to experience. Yeah, the Stagea rocks! Still standard, but it's a series 1 which was converted to manual (all series 1s are auto except the RB26 powered 260RS), so I snapped it up.
  3. So many old-schoolers are coming back! Had a feeling it was you, Paul - your username used to be in full Caps, didn't it?
  4. Is that an R32 GTSt wheel on a Hachi-Roku that I see in that post?
  5. My Stagea sits nose-up too, and I've noticed most of them do (unless modified).
  6. Sorry to hear dude, this really sucks. Will keep an eye out in the Parramatta and Hills areas, just in case.
  7. Is your p/steering sorted, Andy?
  8. Nice choice of wheels, Mona! DISH IS KING - I loooooooove deep-dish wheels.
  9. Getting the back end out slightly isn't to hard, all it takes is a little stab at the throttle in second gear (manual - I suppose in an auto you could leave the stick in 2 and it might produce the same effect). It's nice and progressive, and if you keep your foot into it you can kinda feel the power transferring to the front and it pulls you through the corner.
  10. I'd definitely look at getting more than just the rear muffler. It's fine for when you're accelerating or slowing down, but when you're driving at constant throttle (such as on the freeway or cruising around town), the extra size and shape of the wagon body does make it too loud. I love the way my car sounds when I'm giving it a good rev (and have had nothing but positive comments from everyone I know), but when you're just chilling out it's really tiring to hear that drone. I'm going to have a good look at my exhaust soon (I've never really taken a good look at how it's comprised), and am going to get another silencer on to kill the droning... Still in the process of putting a good but not too expensive sound system together, which should releive some of the noise issue.
  11. Oh yeah, I spotted a few Skylines in the city too while I was in there earlier. I spotted a few while I was walking out of the cinemas. Saw a '33 with clear/LED taillights, looked kinda wrong in my opinion. Was parked behind the George Street Greater Union cinemas, right near the entry to the parking lot there. Saw Dave Chappelle's Block Party - great movie/doco, pity the volume in the cinema was so low. Can't really get the whole concert experience at the volume it was playing at.
  12. I own a dark green one, but I know both of the owners of the cars you're talking about. They are both locals to the Penrith area, the silver one was due out of a workshop today (probs with p/steering pump) but the owner was there, and the light green one (for sale, and it's a beast) was there last night as well. I got there around 8 or 8.30pm, and left around 9.40pm. Cheers, Nick
  13. Was he a bouncer or management?
  14. Chris! Your car looks hot with those wheels, so does Terminal's! I might be biased tho, because I love most mesh-style wheels, and I also LOVE dish! Cyrus, the car looks good with those wheels too. Dish is tops. Good choice.
  15. Spotted a number of Skylines (plus another Stagea - Jay aka R33stagea) at Krispy Kremes in Penrith tonight. Didn't take any number plates tho.
  16. Pick up us Sydney and NSW people on the way, mmmkay? Thanks.
  17. There are PSI "Metal Cats" that are available that bolt-on to R32, R33 and R34s, so I guess it's just a matter of finding one the right size for the exhaust you intend to use... Might be worth chasing up, I dunno. PSI products: 07-3375-1484
  18. Spotted a white R34 on Falmouth Road in Quakers Hill tonight around 9.30pm, see it there quite often...
  19. R32 GTR gearbox for $500? I'd take two!
  20. Damned shame that Alex, but at least you had some cable ties come to the rescue! Cable ties and insulating/electrical tape - is there nothing they can't do?
  21. Spotted a super clean dark silver R32 GT-R, rego GTR-32H, on Old Windsor Road in Old Toongabbie, approximately 5.35pm this afternoon...
  22. Brad, according to Nissan specs, they are supposed to come in between 1620 and 1660kgs, but I'm not sure if this is a dry or wet weight... Just had a look for weighbridge locations and I have 2 not too far from me, one of which is less than 15mins away, but I very rarely travel around that area (no need to)...
  23. Oh, the irony... Let's hope at least J-Spec can shed some light on the situation. If we know he's honestly unable to deliver and unable to inform us for whatever reason, then fair enough. Dammit, it's just so fking frustrating not knowing, that's all.
  24. The starter motor is at the back of the engine (usually on the driver's side) and works on the flywheel to crank the engine over when you turn the key. Have a look for it under where your brake booster is, it should look like this: Using a hammer won't help unless you wanna bash at it in frustration - but hey, that might work too! The source of the problem could be the solenoid on the starter motor, a loose wire from the starter to the body (earth) or the battery to the starter, a problem with the ignition barrel, loose wiring anywhere between the starter and the barrel, or something as simple as a blown fuse somewhere. Start with the simple things (fuses), then work your way along from there.
  25. Agreed on all counts... Been quite a while since I've been though
