  1. Hey, I only just noticed that! Good eyes, Alex.
  2. Damned shame, but like everyone has said, you have your health - NOTHING can replace that!
  3. OK everyone, I will be posting some final details over the next few days (hopefully before the Easter break, but DEFINATELY before the end of it). I will link or scan/upload a map showing the meeting point, and some basic instructions on how to get there as well... It's not hard to find, anyway.
  4. Steve-O, did you spot me in the Stagea, or one of the Skylines?
  5. This is what I'm looking to do in the (hopefully not-too-distant) future. The gauges you'd want (whether they're Defi, Apexi, or whatever) are ~52mm in size, and there are DIN gauge holders available for them from various sources. Not too sure whether they'll fit in the gauge holder of your Stagea in place of the standard gauges, but I suppose if you can get the standard unit out and take it into a shop then you may have a better chance of finding that out. The Defi DIN gauge you've seen on Nengun has three set gauges (you can't choose which gauges it comes with), and you can get more info here: http://www.defi-shop.com/product/din/din_top.html There are cheaper Defi-style gauges around, with either the black face or a mirror face, but if you're choosing a boost gauge to add to your cluster, then they're mostly all mechanical gauges, not electronic ones. JustJap (http://www.justjap.com) and AutoBarn are two places that have the cheaper ones available, and JustJap also has a DIN-sized holder for them. Hope that helps... Nick
  6. Spotted a nice blue R32 GTS-t with bronze wheels (standard) and a silver R34 sedan this arvo in Church Street, Parra, pretty much right outside Sherriff's Mini Cars. This was around 5.45pm...
  7. There are RWD Stageas available in Japan, but whether or not they'd be eligible for import under the SEVS/RAWS scheme is something you'd need to check... Basically, an RS is RWD, and an RS-Four is AWD... Can't find the website at the moment, but it may be well worth a hunt-down to see if the RS versions are eligible.
  8. Damn shame that. As for the photos, I'm sure I won't have the only camera there!
  9. Spotted a non-turbo R33 GTS25 4-door this afternoon in my street - seen it a few times before too - and noticed that the driver was an older (mid-late 40's or above) Indian-looking woman, hahaha... The wheels looked kinda like the factory mesh-pattern mags on my Stagea, strangely enough.
  10. Any news on a suitable intercooler as yet?
  11. 420kms out of 52.72 ltrs = ~12.55l/100kms, 315kms out of 35.16ltrs = ~11.16l/100kms Dude, these are excellent figures!
  12. Hey Adele, welcome to the forums. If you're free, a Stagea gathering is being organised for Saturday 22 April, details are here... Feel free to join us! Cheers, Nick
  13. Saturday it is.. Went to Soldiers Beach today, and the area is beautiful, and a perfect spot for a meet-up. Since this is the first cruise I've organised, I'm going to keep it simple - everything is BYO, and I'm not going to take some elaborate route to get there, even though it would be nice to find some driving roads on the way there and back. There is a chance we may divert slightly onto the old Pacific Highway if there are more than 3 cars heading up from Sydney and we need to re-group. Oh yeah, please remember to bring your UHF radios with you on the day, if you have them!
  14. I was gonna do it Sunday, but Saturday would be easier for me too - less worry about getting home late and not feeling like going to work the next day... At least this way we can afford to stay out there a bit later and not rush home
  15. Just saw that silver R33 GTR in my street again, number plates (I think) were GTR-??? - didn't read it properly...
  16. If you're coming from out West, is it easier for us to meet along the M2, maybe where the M2 and M7 meet up? I live around 5mins from the start of the M2, so it saves us both from travelling all the way to Homebush and then coming back again... Let me know. Proposed meet up time will be around midday at Soldiers Beach. Leave Sydney metro around 10.30am-ish? Will be heading towards the coast tomorrow, so I will try and figure out an exact meeting spot, travel times, etc.
  17. Still waiting to hear from: illusiVe - Blue Mountains fergo308 (Justin) - Eastern Sydney wolverine - ??? Are you guys/girls keen to come along? And AlexCim and Terminal, will you be making the trip North? Post 1 updated with Destination details...
  18. I was about to suggest that as well...
  19. Interesting facts, but why on earth is this posted here on an internet forum for car enthusiasts? :
  20. An R33 sedan is good, but I doubt it will approach a Falcon for boot (or passenger) space. As mentioned, the seats don't fold down, as the battery is located between the strut towers. R33 and Stagea rear seat room and leg space is the same, as they share the same chassis and wheelbase, as far as I know... Having a Stagea is great - used it yesterday to help my sister's boss move all her work stuff from a factory warehouse to her house. Managed to get heaps of stuff moved, if Id have taken photos it would give you an idea of how versatile it is. The back seats fold completely flat, and you can just flip the seats using the silver handles on each side of the boot, instead of having to open the back door on each side and individually fold each seat down. Unfortunately I don't have photos of the R33 sedan's boot (could probaly get them in a few weeks, tho), but here's some photos to give you an idea of the Stagea boot:
  21. Spotted a blue R32 GT-R this afternoon, it might have been Rukus, couldn't see the plates due to traffic blocking my view. Was around 4.30pm, crossing Prospect Highway in Seven Hills, heading towards Kings Park/Langley - I was heading the other way.
  22. Don't forget the cruise near the end of this month, link is here...
  23. Me too, 1997 s1 RS Four V, converted to manual...
  24. Spotted a silver R33 GT-R in my street in Toongabbie all of 2mins ago, seems to be here quite often. I've grown Skyline-sensitive ears over the years, and know when it's here even when I don't see it arriving. Not sure of the number plates, even with glasses my long-distance vision is fuXored. Mind you, it's only about 25m away.
