  1. I'm a government pleb, like Jimbo... REALLY need to get out of there, and work at something where I can actually see and feel like I'm making a tangible contribution to something or someone, even if it's only minor... At the moment I just feel like a robot - there's no challenge except for having to turn up every day! Meh, at least it's close to home...
  2. Ouch! What happened Andy, care to give us an idea of what went wrong?
  3. Still waiting too, Funky...
  4. Can't come, Chris? Can I leave it in your hands to handle that side of it then, Beastien?
  5. Stan, if it's easier for you to measure them directly, I can probably bring my Stagea for measurements, photos, and whatever else is needed. We can pull one off the front and rear, find out where the clips/holes are, etc. Let me know if that's a preferred method. I'm out near Parramatta. Cheers, Nick
  6. Me too, mine's due in October as well... Co-incidence or conspiracy?
  7. I'm with him...
  8. Hahaha, when I posted this link waaaaaaayyy back when, their website was a nightmare to use. Wouldn't be surprised if this is the same car from back then, too... Agreed, way too expensive!
  9. It has an RB25DET, but I would prefer an intercooler where the return pipes go either behind or under the core so I can utilise the standard holes under the airbox. I would rather not have to cut holes or have the return pipe go up and over the fan... Thanks in advance, Nick
  10. Hey Steve, you've put in the first post that the boost gauge is "electrical," so is this a mechanical gauge with the normal electricals for lighting, etc., or are they actually ELECTRONIC gauges? Thanks in advance, Nick
  11. Also, don't forget to check out the Buyer's Guide here, for other stuff to look out for, plus common features, etc.
  12. How does Soldier's Beach sound as a final destination/meet-up point?
  13. So guys and girls, any further interest or ideas? It looks to be a goer for 22/23 April, so all we need is a clear destination and meet-up point...
  14. Tangles, if you wish, I can offer my Stagea to Stan for measurement of the kick-plates, seeing as I am in Sydney anyway... Makes it a bit easier for you, so let me know if you want me to set this up with him. Cheers, Nick
  15. That is awesome to hear, Brad - it's been a long time coming for you, good to be able to hear that you're enjoying it.
  16. Lucky escape Term! Good to hear you are safe, and that you didn't have to drive all the way back to Canberra on the space saver, too. Who knows how much extra load the trailer would have put on the space saver, as well.
  17. That really sucks Stan! You said there was some blood left in the car, did Forensics find enough to take a sample, maybe for DNA testing or something? Might be a lead to identifying the guilty party (or parties).
  18. I spotted an orange R33 last night in the city on Pitt St about 5 times, as I was in the Stagea looking for parking around that area, then I saw it again on the way home, strangely enough, along Parramatta Road somewhere (too tired to remember exactly where). Also got a thumbs-up from some dude walking through the city with his friends, there were about 5-6 of them in a group, anyone here?
  19. Nice engine bay gzzmos! The first thing I noticed was the RB26 cam covers, but I knew there was something missing, so was wondering if it actually was a 26. Then I noticed the high-mount turbo, and the size, and the, ummm, "filter," then I noticed how close your power steering reservior was and I though: "Hmmm, that's not going to last long after some heat exposure!"
  20. Good to hear, Funky! Looking forward to receiving it...
  21. Having looked at the grill and the fact that it doesn't have the privacy glass, that one looks to be an X- or G-spec Stagea, as only the RS-spec and above came with the egg-crate mesh-style grill and dark windows... Tell you what, that Nissan Archive page has sure come in handy in so many ways... And I've updated the Buyer's Guide too, using info I found in the archive page.
  22. I haven't touched my PS for years, and because of this I can't remember ever having seen one when I played GT. I do remember owning an R32 GTSt, GTS4, GT-R, and an R33 GT-R four-door, amongst other cars... Hmmm, might have to pull the PlayStation out again and get re-aquainted with Gran Tourismo. Either that or finally invest in a PS2, even tho the PS3 will probably be out by the end of the year...
  23. I like my car exactly as it is, the only thing is sometimes I wish I had a rear wing so there was somewhere I'd eventually have to put a reversing camera... Can we really summon up that many Stagea owners? Alternatively, would the return-feed intercooler be backwards -compatible with Skylines? I'd assume so, but it might be something to look into.
