  1. Good to see you're still alive - heaps of the original SDU/SAU crew are either missing or just don't post anywhere near as much as they used to... Anyway, onto the car: WTF is a Corida? Is it as small as a Corolla but with the luxury (and RWD) of a Cressida? If it is, I say go for that and drop a 1JZ-GTE or 1UZ-FE into it for giggles... Cheers, Nick T.
  2. Nice pics, Wil - as per usual!!! Nice car Ruk, I love that colour, too.
  3. Spotted a black R32 (GTSt, I think), this afternoon on Portico Parade/Toongabbie Rd, heading towards Girraween. Plate was RLX RE, or something like that... V.V. nice!
  4. Looks like there'll be three birthdays being celebrated then. Yours, E_Lu_Shun's and mine! I'm, ummm, a l'il bit older though. : Meh.
  5. Spotted a dark blue R34 at Seven Hills Caltex/Red Rooster/Hungry Jacks (crnr Abbott and Costello Rds, just past the end of the M2) at around 8pm, but they left before I could go out and have a chat to them. I did notice them looking at my Stagea, though... Anyone?
  6. Cool, nice buy MrBenson - is this car staying in NSW? I'm in the process of organising a cruise for early April for the Sydney and Newcastle/Hunter region owners and enthusiasts - will you be keen to join us?
  7. Hmmm, you know what? Until you pointed that out I hadn't even thought about that... :
  8. Not sure about the RB26, but the pull-type clutch for an RB25 (and most likely the flywheel too) is the same as Nissan Patrol... As stated here...
  9. Or spend some more time in Newie, maybe?
  10. It's funny that the Volvo's gear knob looks surprisingly similar to a Skyline one... I gotta admit, I really like the way the design direction has been heading at Volvo since the intro of the S, V, and XC series of cars. Chris, your car looks a lot more red in these pics. In the other pics you've posted previously it looks a lot closer to the maroon/wine red. Car scrubs up well, though - I love the way those wheels look on the Stagea, but they must be a bitch to clean.
  11. That looks hot!!! Not too sure how an FMIC would cope behind that front bumper, though... Other than that, I love it!
  12. I stand corrected! Regardless, you have been pretty absent from the forums for a while (or at least this part of it, anyway).
  13. That's awesome, assuming it proves true!
  14. Glenn, you're back!?!?!?! Whatever happened to the "Dammit, I'm gonna miss my crashed Stagea, might have to replace it with a 260RS now..." thing? Welcome back, anyways... Oh and I prefer the front end of the s1, but the clear indicators, etc. of the s2 - wouldn't mind having that Neo6 engine, either... Nick T.
  15. Me thinks split it up - although with Acrobat you can skip straight to a particular page if you want, can't you? Did you get my payment, Funkeh?
  16. Adam, I'm pretty certain I'll be along and running the Stagea (assuming they'll still be doing the "pull the driveshafts, remove/replace clutch slave cylinder" thing). Either way, I'll be along for a look and meet & greet during the day. I think my cousin is coming down from the Central Coast in his s1 R33, but I doubt he'll be running his car as he has a PowerFC, but it hasn't been tuned beyond the self-learning stages yet. Cheers, Nick T.
  17. I'd offer to, but: 1) my car is a series 1; and 2) my car has been converted to manual... I live near Parramatta, and I'm on holidays a.t.m. Whereabouts are you?
  18. Hahaha, because you didn't quote Humble, and your post was directly after mine there, I thought you were replying to me for a minute, then I went back and read the previous posts. Here I was thinking "Hey, Alex has come to Sydney and not mentioned anything, we could have had a quick meet and cruise, and he was staying/driving close to my home as well..."
  19. Greystanes, hey? That's only about 10mins from me!
  20. Yeah I did too, Alex! But that thread is so old I'd forgotten all about it and don't remember checking it for replies. Hmm, the saving continues... Concentrating on the stereo for now (at least getting some replacement speakers, anyway). I can handle (and am quite enjoying) the power the car already has, and would like to get suspension and wheels first, once the stereo is at least partially sorted... EDIT: Alex, did you end up taking your car to the PFC distributor to see what works/doesn't work before making your PFC purchase?
  21. Anything to suit regular C34 Stagea RS Four?
  22. My cousin tells me he sees a white Stagea near his house in Lane Cove (NSW) once in a while. He didn't say exactly where, tho.
  23. Just like Cyrus (aka Ska), I bought mine already converted to manual. The fact that it was already done was the main reason why I snapped it up. I'm just lucky that I love the colour, and that it is in really good condition. The clutch is a six-puck (ceramic, I think) and is pretty heavy and bites HARD. The box is R32 GT-R. Apart from that and the 3" exhaust, everything is stock! I've driven manuals all my life, and I'm not ready to give them up yet. My oldies have two autos (an '04 Camry Sportivo and an '00 Audi A4 1.8T), and my old car (a '94 Corolla manual) is now my sister's, and although she waited ages to get her licence, she hates driving auto's too.
  24. I've also done a search, and found nothing relevant on hardwiring the ATESSA system. Does anyone know what's involved, and is it a simple or a major process? I'm really keen to do this, as I'd like to find that balance between better fuel economy, more power, more responce, etc., and PowerFC is amongst the best solutions (closed loop and plug-and-play are major factors).
  25. Shan, I have just made the funds transaction. It's CBA to CBA, so hopefully should show up pretty much straight away. Sorry about the delay - been flat-chat at work, and now have relo's from overseas staying with us. Today is my first day of my holidays, so the first decent chance to sort this all out. PM sent with address details... Cheers and thanks in advance, Nick T.
