  1. Looks hot Andrew! Especially nice because your car is a light silver, and it sets it off perfectly with the white stickers and the black and white number plates, in my opinion.
  2. My cousin had a key programmed for her N16 Pulsar, can't remember where she bought it, but had it programmed by a Nissan dealer. It might be an idea to ring your local dealer and see if they can do it, surely the sequence can't be too different between models. Also, I believe there are some places who cut keys who are also able to do the programming for you, if you still can't manage to find the sequence or process to do it yourself.
  3. My car was done through IAMSHE too, but as it wasn't me bringing the car in, I couldn't give you any idea how long it ook, unfortunately... Hopefully it won't be too long. I might push the cruise date back to early April, it gives you (EGA41T) time to get your car, it gives Chris (AMS) time to sort out AutoSalon, etc, my cousin will be back from his work trip o/seas (he owns an R33 and wants to come along too), and everyone else should have enough notice to plan for it. And I'll be on holidays giving me more time to get everything together, as well.
  4. Don't think Japlink sell Stageas, unless that's been a recent change...
  5. Spotted Tommo in the beastly green Mazda 121, Seven Hills BP...
  6. Was around 8am, by the way...
  7. Saw an awesome dark purple R33 GTS25t on the M4 this morning, eastbound, between Westmead and Parra - plates were DRF71D. HOT! Absolutely beautiful car!
  8. photochoporban!?!?!? I wanna see what this thing would look like for myself! hahahaha
  9. Awesome find(s)!!! To have TWO Stageas come into the same family in such a short time is awesome. However, you can't beat the "greediness" of darrinspencer, who also bought two Stageas, but both for himself... Congrats, Wildcat and MrGTST. Cheers, Nick
  10. Midnight purple or another dark colour work for me, I like a mix of power and classiness. How about this green? It would certainly stand out, without being gaudy!
  11. Mine sounds fine... I think I noticed two horns connected in my car, must have another look again when I next have the bonnet open...
  12. Andy/EGA41T, when do you think you'll get your Stagea? Have they given you a delivery date yet?
  13. Christian, was keen to find out how much your FMIC was for the Stagea, I went down to Unique the other day and asked them about it, but didn't have a good chance to have a look at it and your car. They told me you got it from Japan and brought it in for them to install, but were unsure how much it cost you. I'm keen to get one similar, where the pipes run back under the core and meet up to the standard cut-outs in the engine bay. I wanna keep my Stag looking fairly innocent, and would like to minimise the number of things that stand out under the bonnet, so having standard-looking intercooler pipes and a black intercooler is what I'm aiming for. Oh, and are you sure you're not keen to keep the Stagea for another month or so? I'm gonna try and organise a Stagea cruise towards the end of March. I'm gonna try and get the Sydney and Hunter region (Newcastle, Central Coast, etc.) owners together and maybe meet somewhere fairly central along the coast - maybe Swansea... Anyway, would appreciate if you could give me a ballpark figure on how much the FMIC cost you, part number (they informed me at UAS that it's a Stagea-specific Blitz intercooler), and how you went about bringing it in. PM me if you wish. Thanks in advance, Nick
  14. Mine too, I found that a bit strange...
  15. I agree with Brad - I had these issues in my Corolla many years ago, stereo struggling to keep up, engine cutting out, headlights fading (I was driving at dusk), and stalling between gear changes and when slowing down for the lights (it would barely idle), etc. I'd bet it's the alternator...
  16. Why, Chris? I think they look hot on your car! What are you thinking of replacing them with?
  17. Mine's set for JJJ as well, the frequency for Sydney is 105.7, but the radio says 87.7. I'm hanging to get rid of mine. The radio doesn't tune properly (the reception is crap on mine, so I'm guessing the frequeny band expander is a cheap one), I've blown two speakers in it because it's not loud OR clear enough, and the CD player jumps over even minor bumps. I'm saving some money to get some new speakers and an amp, buy a single-DIN unit so I can put some gauges underneath it, and maybe get a sub in a super-small enclosure (as small as I can get away with) so it doesn't take too much room in the boot.
  18. Was just about to reply to that with the same info, but Alex beat me to it... He is correct, by the way, and probably described it as well, if not better, than I could have... On the street, a 1.5 way is the best option.
  19. Spotted a white R34 GTt last night leaving the BP on Abbott Road in Seven Hills, around 11 or 11.30pm. Don't remember the plates exactly, I think it started with AUX or AUW or something similar...
  20. Dammit, I so want a set of those 7-spokes to put on my Stagea, they'd look hot!!! Nice car, Jimbo - congrats!
  21. Just found the piccies, they are post #63 and onwards in the "Manual Conversion Checklist" thread...
  22. If you want, guys, I'll try and email the previous owner of my car, and see what parts he used in the conversion - if I remember correctly he said that this car (the one I bought off him) was the second one he'd done a conversion on - the first one was also a conversion to RB26DETT... You might be able to find details on the cars in the forums somewhere, when I get a chance I'll have a look for them too. His username was "Argo."
  23. Mid-late March sounds better, gives us time to sort ourselves out... Will post an Event soon.
  24. I paid just over $18k in October last year.
  25. Alright, so as far as NSW residents go, who would be up for a meet-up maybe mid- to late-March? Going through some old threads, we seem to have: AMS (Chris) - Tamworth beastien - Newcastle illusiVe - Blue Mountains neostagea - Taree Mum's Taxi - Maitland fergo308 (Justin) - Eastern Sydney EGA41T (Andy) - Penrith wolverine - ??? Maybe we could gather two groups together - one from Newcastle and surrounds, and one from Sydney, and find somewhere halfway between the two to meet, chat, have a BBQ, etc? Maybe somewhere on the Central Coast? Dunno about those from out West (Penrith and the Mountains), would you be keen to do this too? I realise that it may add another hour to your trip if we were to establish a Sydney meeting point around Parramatta or Homebush or something... I live about 5 minute's drive from the start of the M2, if that helps - if you guys/girls wanted to travel along the M4 and M7, then jump off and meet at a servo or something near the start of the M2, we could do that. Suggestions, anyone? Cheers, Nick T.
