  1. Saw this car again this afternoon, it's silver but not an AR-X. When I see it again I'll try and leave an SAU business card on it and note down the number plates.
  2. I keep forgetting to mention that I've twice seen an M35 AR-X (in either silver or gold, can't properly tell in the darkness) parked on Targo Road in Toongabbie.
  3. Excellent solution to the problem, Sidd! Good work for your quick, on-the-spot thinking.
  4. As per the forum rules, and so this thread doesn't get out of hand, please PM the OP with any suggestions...

So it was YOU who shot Rae for this - you lucky, lucky man! She is gorgeous! I've seen her at a few game release events, and she's hard to keep your eyes off..
  6. Did you spot mine, Theo? I saw you drive in (or at least I'm pretty sure it was you), so I went for a walk but couldn't find you.
  7. Indeed, bring the missus and her friend along. This event has actually been almost won by someone in a stock (but stripped) Starlet, but that's because Reece was driving! And yep, that's my little sister Duncan's talking about. We both did a day at Oran Park way back when - I know I'm not the only one who misses that track... We were in separate groups, and she told me later that she'd spun the Mazda3 and went off backwards at Shell Corner, but she shook it off, waited for the rest of the cars in her group to go by, then got right back into it! With a bit of tuition from Duncan, she built some confidence and really enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, there isn't anywhere near as much run-off room at the Sutton Road Complex, so have fun, but be wary of your surrounds and be careful! Oh, and that map just happens to be linked to an article about Chubbs: http://chicanecultur...dney-australia/

  9. Hey mate, Shell actually uses the username "Shell" on here, so she'll be easy to find if you need to message her. If you want, try putting your question in this thread here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/16344-current-skylines-australia-nsw-members/
  10. Good to hear. I still use MSN once in a while, or FB chat. However, I leave my PC on almost 24/7, so I often forget to turn on/off the chat when I'm not around or busy.
  11. Posts moved to the new Putty Road wrap-up thread here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/398395-putty-road-wrap-up-thread/
  12. Wish I could have been there, especially since my plans preventing me from going got cancelled this morning...
  13. Because not racecar? I'm with most of you there too, and hence why I'm willing to try a set of really good tyres when the pricing is so good from CostCo.

Thanks Jay! One of them was taken with Matt doing the painting during the shot, but I don't remember which exact photo it was because I took about 15 shots total. So just do what I did, take a whole bunch of shots and just experiment. I think for most of them I was around 1-1.5m away from the cars. There are a few hot-spots that have blown out, but I really need to make time to get my head around photoshop because I suck with that. When I was at school, the photography classes were done using film and a dark room, if that gives anything away about my age, LOL... LOVE your shots with the LED light painting too.
  15. OMG Brendan, you're still alive? How are you?
  16. Guys, have you checked out CostCo? I dunno if there's one in SA or Brissie, but if you're in Sydney or Melbourne (or Canberra), it might be worth an enquiry and membership. It'll cost you ~$60 for membership, so just join up, drop your car off for the tyres and do some shopping while you wait. You'll easily recover the cost of your membership. I'm seriously considering getting my next set from there, as they sell Michelin Pilot Sport 3s, Continental CSC3s, Bridgestone Adrenalins (and probably Potenzas too), and a whole bunch of other stuff there too. It's been about 3 months since I checked, but most of those brands were under $300 a corner for around 245s in an 18" diameter. Oh, on that note, I probably wouldn't get a wheel alignment from there - I doubt they'd do a bad job with it, but I'd just prefer to go somewhere I trust...
  17. Guys and girls, some of the posts here have been hidden and/or modified, but not deleted, (as per the request of RSFOURDayz) due to the seriousness of the situation here. Let's hope it all works out for the best, and thankfully nobody was injured or worse.
  18. Indeed, if it wasn't for Christian, we'd still be lurking SkylinesDownunder. Very best wishes for a speedy and full recovery!
  19. Spotted a gunmetal R32 GTSt being driven by a sandy blonde-haired chick (I think), heading west on the M4 and exitting at The Northern Road behind me, then turning left to head south. The car was very nicely lowered and had gunmetal R32 GT-R wheels on it.
  20. Pat, what month is it where you live?
  21. Don't you watch the Tooheys Extra Dry ads, Marko? It's an adult male dear.
  22. You know the truth, Terry!

Here's mine from Friday night. Not the best, but I spent very little time setting up for it, and it was more of an experiment seeing if I could use the LED light on the front of my new Canon 320EX the way I wanted to. 24. Moved to Events section...
  25. As already mentioned, the reason we need numbers is to cater for food and drinks, to make sure they don't have too much or too little of either. I've started an attendees list in the second post, and time is running out. If you're keen to come and don't see your name on the list, please let me know by postiong in here
