Before you drill, MAKE SURE you're not going to pierce through fuel or brake lines, or drill straight into a wiring harness.

Post A Pic Of Your Stagea Thread
GoldZilla replied to CruiseLiner's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Looks great - are they BBS CX-R wheels? -
Spotted a white R32 GT-R with white Sparco wheels earlier tonight in Northmead - it could well have been GTR-Kat, except she's changed her wheels and I'm guessing her car would always be clean, unlike the one I saw tonight... I should have taken a photo.

Do it, Dave! BTW, is that John's new engine I've been hearing the past few nights over here? Fck me, it's loud, but it also sounds good!

Official Skylines Australia New South Wales Merchandise
GoldZilla replied to GoldZilla's topic in New South Wales
*they're... If I can get them in grey, I might do them next round. But we have to sell this batch first! I tried ringing your modelling agency, Owen, but your fees were too steep. Good man, though, I'll have them at the next Club meeting. Who else wants one??? -
So, in other words, they're discussing bringing in a new rule, but with more and more conditions that will make it more of a PITA to manage and enforce... So, each police officer will have to: check age of driver check level of provisional license (P1 or P2) check if there are any passengers who shouldn't be in the car check that they're not in a restricted car for their level of license check if they have an exemption to drive that car if it IS on the restricted list check if they have an exemption to drive during those hours on a weekend Where will it end?

Duncan has plenty of track experience too. He's an expert in breaking RB26 engines, if that counts for anything. Oh, I finally got my wheel alignment done. -
Screw you guys, I'm averaging 14.78L/100kms, according to the app on my phone. Best run was 12.37L/100, worst was 18.07L/00, but I think that included the drag day @ WSID. Then again, I don't drive for economy.

Ouch, that sucks... Spotted and hung out with StageIan on Tuesday @ Zen Garage. Spotted and hung out with Duncan and Bodella on Wednesday night @ Wholesale Suspension in Penrifffffff.

Speaking of Texi, who else has entered? Bodella has stumped up the entry fee, and if no-one else brings their LOLvo along, then I am disappoint! -

GoldZilla replied to GoldZilla's topic in New South Wales
It's back!!! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/380782-official-skylines-australia-new-south-wales-merchandise/ -
New SkylinesAustralia Merchandise, now available to all!!! Greetings all! As discussed way back when, any new goodies that SAU sells will be made available to ALL forum members. We now have those zip-up hoodies available, as previously voted upon and promised! "WHY SHOULD I BUY SAU MERCHANDISE?" Why not? It's yet another way to show how much you love and support the club, and the community within! And besides, any money made on the merchandise we sell goes towards more things for YOU! Track days, drift days, drag days, BBQs - they all cost the club money, as will implementing any new merchandise ideas in the future... If you want to pay a SIGNIFICANTLY lower price on ALL merchandise, then this is just one other reason you should join up, if you haven't already! (Details are in my signature.) We still have most of the older items (lanyards, polo shirts, pit crew style shirts, keyring bottle openers, stubby holders, etc.) for sale, so if you don't see them here send me a PM and I'll check stocks. They WILL be returning eventually, don't you worry! In saying that, here is the newest item - the SAU-NSW zip-up hooded jumper, featuring "The New Era" of the GT-R range. Pricing is $55 for SAU-NSW Club Members (or financial members of our interstate clubs), or $65 for non-Members. Product order code: SAU-TNE Available in limited numbers in S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL... Sau: Nsw Tech Night #2 - Suspension And Alignment
GoldZilla replied to Aggroman's topic in Events Archive
Agreed with all, was a good night and the Wholesale Suspension boys (and girl) were great to deal with and taught us some very useful information. Duncan, Neil and myself had a stalker @ Penrith McD's beforehand - he parked right next to us and must have been waiting for us to come back to the cars then pounced on us with chat about his three Datto 200Bs. I guess that's what two damned fine Stageas parked side-by-side attracts in that neck of the woods, hey? His car was pretty cool though. -
...or the risk of t-boning a car that has gone through a set of lights when they are GREEN. It often stuns me when I roll up and stop at a set of lights as they've gone orange and see someone two cars back still go through that same set of lights - surely if I could stop in time, they could too, right? On that basis, there are plenty of sets of lights I use that I ALWAYS double-check when the lights change to green, even if I'm a few cars back from the intersection.

LOL, I can just imagine it: "Dude, is now really the time to break out the car detailing kit and the orbital buffer???" ...and yes, I do realise it's a refueling pump, but that was the first funny caption that came to mind.

The 15Th Anniversary Stagea Cruise Wrap-Up Thread
GoldZilla replied to GoldZilla's topic in New South Wales
Agreed, good work Tom! And yep, I'm doing it, but my mind is failing me, so anyone who won a prize on the day, could you please send me a PM with your name (just your first name is fine if that's all you want - your choice), what prize you won and what for. Oh, and if you know someone who won a prize and you know that they don't get on the forums much, please pass their details on to me (with their permission, of course) or let them know to contact me. Need those last few details for the article. Thanks! -

Newb Wants To Get A Stagea, What To Look For?
GoldZilla replied to Aegats's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
LOL, it's fair enough that the cars at JapLink might be dirty - they are parked outside and exposed to the elements anyway so you'd have to remember to factor that in, don't forget. I believe (and people can correct me if I'm wrong) that North Shore park most or all of their cars indoors, so once they're cleaned they pretty much stay that way. Either way, I'd still recommend BOTH places, so just go with what your instinct tells you - your gut feeling is usually right. -

Shame you won't make it, Dale. Plenty of Texi spots left, and if it doesn't fill out (which is unusual, so get in quick) it just means you can spend more time out there on the skidpan, or take longer breaks between runs and not run the risk of missing out. Do it, Theo! (And EVERYONE, for that matter!) Don't worry about times, just come out and have fun! I'm sure you'll get around the corners much better than the guys from the Camaro club who brought their cars out for one of our days. You know what Yank cars are like: nice to look at and go damned fast in a straight line, but as soon as it comes to slowing down and taking a corner, they just speared off on their own little adventures. This man, he knows! And he is exactly right! Our days are designed for fun so you can throw your car around to your heart's content with no risk to your license. -
