  1. Yep, that picture has been around for ages, Theo. Some of the proportions are a bit off, but the idea is awesome.
  2. The link to the membership forms? I'll check that soon...
  3. So, at the Stagea 15th Anniversary cruise, Terry, Eric, Dave and myself mentioned that we have quite a few events left to run before the year is out, and we'd ALL love to see more Stageas attending and taking part. Here's a quick run-down of our remaining events for the year: NSW Tech Night #2: Suspension and Alignment, Wednesday 19th October. Open only to Members, but you can sign up on the night. There's a link to the Membership forms in my sig. SAU-NSW TexiKhana, Sunday November 13th. Must I constantly be the ONLY Stagea driver throwing my car around the motorkhana courses we set up??? SAU-NSW Dinner of Legends, Sunday November 27th. Get in QUICK for this one - dinner with "Gentleman" Jim Richards and the equally legendary Fred Gibson! To be held at Trackside restaurant on the Central Coast. SAU-NSW Wakefield Park track day, Saturday December 17. Track day #3 for us.
  4. Eric, where's the one where you were almost pipped at the post by a dirty green LOLvo?
  5. Alright, while I was finishing up the article tonight, I was going through my HyperRev catalogues to get some finer details to add in, and I noticed something... The Nissan Stagea was first released on 3 October, 1996. Our 15th Anniversary cruise was held on 2 October, 2011. That is only 1 day short of an EXACT 15 year anniversary!!! Terry, did you plan this and plant the date in my head sub-conciously???
  6. The rust under the door mirrors is usually a C34 thing, AFAIK. I've been lucky in that regard (or maybe I haven't looked hard enough). If you want to buy from a dealer, I'd recommend either North Shore Prestige or, considering you'd prefer inner western Sydney, JapLink on Parramatta Rd in Haberfield. Both do compliancing so you should be able to find a quality car there.
  7. I'm pretty sure they stated it's going to be based on the Quashqi or whatever it's called overseas, which is what we see here in Australia as the Murano.
  8. Theo, that could have been Teren ("Tangents"), unless it was the one with the carbon-style bonnet also at the cruise that day?
  9. Looking good, Alex! I'm also keen to see how this build goes.
  10. Moved to the Classifieds section. Please have a look at the rules here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/76463-rules-for-users-of-the-sau-classifieds-please-read-before-use/
  11. http://www.digitalrev.com/en/new-sony-slt-a77-9438-article Jeez, 24.3 Megapixels and 12 frames per second is just nuts!!! If you don't mind buying from a "grey import" dealer, I highly recommend these guys - shipping from Hong Kong is just 3 business days!
  12. It does, and it will be available REALLY soon (as will the photos).
  13. Crap, was hoping to come along on Sunday and use the ticket I bought ages ago, but something's broken those plans...
  14. LOL, you're a ruh-tard, Matt! I'm pretty sure I showed you that photo straight after I took it, too. Was just after I'd bought the G12. I'm really happy with that purchase, BTW - it's proving to be an awesome little camera! I love having a smaller camera with most of the functions of a DSLR, so I can still play with/learn how settings work without having to carry the 60D and lenses around constantly.
  15. Pfft, they're fine where they are. Mine's a converted car (s1 with R32 GT-R box), and I can still use the cup holders under the stereo while driving.
  16. Do it! This is justification enough!!! And if they tease you about driving a Volvo, you can stir them up and say they got pwned by that same car.
  17. I'd agree with this statement - it'd be much more in your favour to attend one of our track days (if you can manage to wrangle the time off) than just go to a regular "Speed Off The Streets" Day - we specifically run our days so that people with little or no experience can attend and drive together and get used to the track (with experienced instructors in the passenger seat next to you, if you want) rather than have to compete for track space with those who are giving it their all and pushing for lap times straight away. We've been lucky, and only ever had one incident over the many years of SAU-NSW running track days at various tracks. And the circumstances that allowed for that incident to occur will NEVER be repeated, that's for sure! But yes, you could turn up at one of the regular "Speed..." days and be just as lucky and almost have the whole track for yourself for most of the day.
  18. They'll be up for sale VERY soon, Albert - I'm just working out and confirming all our costs so they're affordable but we don't lose money on them either.
  19. Wow man, that's mega-impressive! Is this on the 5DMkII?
  20. Paid for 7 tix, and PM sent.
  21. That was taken at a friend's magazine launch party for issue #2. The band were, ummmm, interesting (lots of "experimental" noises very occasionally matching up to a beat of some kind), but it was a good chance to try some gig photography again, and I enjoyed it. Unfortunately I needed to head home before the acts I wanted to see/hear were on... Oh, and stop posting dodgy photos of me, I don't need to be reminded about how fugly I am! Revenge:
  22. Here's one using the G12:
  23. LOL, did anyone notice that when we stopped at the Stone House Cafe near the end of the cruise, quite a few cars stopped and took photos of our assembled fleet?
  24. Yeah, I'd be keen on cost of having one made or instructions too - the main reason (apart from laziness) that I haven't had a sub installed yet is because I can't figure out a solution that will work and have very minimal impact on the boot space available. Oh, are the tie-down points covered by the box? I use these fairly often. Good work!
