  1. Oh yeah, it was awesome indeed! Drove mine again today for the first time in a week, and no issues showed up. Meh, I'd rather have found out by breaking down today while being 10mins from home rather than yesterday while on tight, twisty and wet roads over an hour away...
  2. LOL, you know you want one, ZebDrew
  3. Leon, send me a PM with your contact details - you won a prize but had already left when we did the presentation.
  4. Where were you today, Raf? You missed an awesome cruise! Oh, and I spotted 22(!) Stageas today at Top Secret Imports in Blacktown.
  5. Yeah, when and where was this, Dale? And what car was it? Hope no-one was hurt. Alright, MASSIVE thanks to all of you for coming along today, despite the crappy weather. It's not an event unless we have participants, and you ALL helped to make today a success. Post your photos, comments, etc. here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/378896-the-15th-anniversary-stagea-cruise-wrap-up-thread/
  6. With massive thanks to Top Secret Imports and Project D Drift School, we had a ball today with a highly successful cruise to celebrate 15 years of the existence of the Nissan Stagea. Our official photographer, Matt, will have some photos of today's event up too, but will be keeping some for our eventual article in Performance Imports magazine. Many thanks to event co-creator Terry "Terry _GT-R34" for his help setting up the cruise, and SAU-NSW President Eric "Pezhead" and Vice-President Dave "Aggroman" for coming out in the morning to help make sure everything was running smoothly before we left. Thanks also to Terry and Matt "God_speed" for being my pilots for the morning run in the 260RS. It's very tempting to get some cams for that tough-sounding idle! Congratulations to our award winners. Leon ("Commsman"), contact me for your prize - you'd already left when we gave them out... So, if you have photos, comments, etc., post them up.
  7. New thread is up, please post all your photos and comments there. Glad to see everyone had a good day! Post up here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/378896-the-15th-anniversary-stagea-cruise-wrap-up-thread/
  8. OK peeps, I've added a few new things to the thread, please check them out here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/375393-the-official-s-a-u-n-s-w-stageas-15th-anniversary-cruise/page__view__findpost__p__6039640
  9. OK peoples, a few last minute notes: Top Secret Imports will be putting on a breakfast for us starting at around 9.30am. as Dale mentioned, don't forget that Daylight Savings starts at 2am on Sunday morning, so set your clocks/watches forward an hour. it's a long weekend, so DOUBLE DEMERITS apply. As already noted, this is a family-friendly cruise, so we'll be taking it easy anyway, but please remain aware of this fact. maps will be handed out on the day, but if you have a GPS device please bring it along. If anyone gets lost, just proceed straight to Wisemans Ferry. we will be making a few short stops for photos along the way, as well as one at the very end when we get to Wisemans Ferry. lunch will be at Wisemans Inn Hotel (at the top of the hill), where we've already notified Katrina the bistro manager that we'll have a group coming along. Plenty of seats both inside and outside (if the weather allows). for those wanting to stay on afterwards at the pub, they have TVs broadcasting the game(s) in the bistro and bar sections of the venue.
  10. Terry and I did the run yesterday to make sure the road quality is nice, and it's good news, all. We'll be ending up at the Wiseman's Inn for lunch after heading right down the bottom for some photos. If you have a UHF radio, please, please, please bring it along. I'll be printing maps, but some sections are a bit confusing, and some areas don't have mobile reception...
  11. Yeah, probably not a good idea to post them. Heard a fair bit about it on the news today, doesn't sound too good.
  12. An NA Supra with a 2JZ-GTE in it is no longer an NA Supra. If it has a 2JZ-GE in it, then it's a different story. You can even drive it legally on your P's! WIN!

    Help!

As Owen just mentioned, you need to make sure your BOV is plumbed back to your intake. FWIW, both the factory BOV and air box are more than up to the task of doing their assigned jobs unless you REALLY decide to do massive mods to your car, by which time you'd probably need an engineer's report anyway.
  14. Wow, bragging about racing a car on a public road, in a public forum - very smart...
  15. That's probably Ian (aka "StageIan"), Ravi.
  16. Hmmm, my LOLvo mysteriously just died on the way home from a friend's on Saturday night. Coudln't get a flatbed tow truck on short notice (around 9.15pm on a wet night, so retards who can't drive were having accidents because some water fell from the sky ), so I ended up flat-towing it back to my friend's. Anyway, Sunday come around and my mate goes to check the car - it starts and runs. He organises a towie through a mate, and when the truck gets there it runs again and he dirves it onto the truck. Car arrives at my place, and I then proceed to drive it off the truck and into the garage. Tried it again in the arvo today, and it started and ran again. Weird... Tomorrow the old man and I will try and figure out if it will start again, and see if we can source the problem. Regardless, I'm gonna be paranoid to drive it on the cruise on Sunday in case it breaks down a long way from home.
  17. I bought a G12 recently, check out my post here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/369057-beginners-camera-choice/page__view__findpost__p__6008656
  18. It's $60 to attend - because you have to be a member of the club! You are welcome to join tonight, though.
  19. Just over a week to go, peoples!
  20. We won't be using the M2 anyway, Terry, so all is good.
  21. Spotted an ice green s1 C34 going into the Shell servo on Mulgoa Road in Penrith around 3.45pm today.
  22. Sydney Dragway at our SAU-NSW Drag Day. 60ft of 1.814sec 13.817 @ 95.23mph (153.27km/h) GReddy Profec B spec 2 set at 12psi, return-feed FMIC, PowerFC, full exhaust, R32 GT-R manual conversion. Running Federal 595 at each corner, 245/45/18. Didn't check tyre pressures, didn't remove anything from the car, didn't do any prep work at all. Car weighs roughly 1750kgs (forgot to check the weighbridge reading).
  23. LOL I remember that car from many years ago! So, Adam, no more Stagea?
  24. I took the LOLvo to our SAU-NSW Drag Day on Sunday, got a best time of 13.817, which I'm stoked with!
