  1. All good, as long as you found it in the end.
  2. You'd probably be best to post here instead: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/forum/13-wanted-to-buy/. Provide as many details as you can in the thread (your location, budget, condition required, etc.) to make it easier for you and whoever reads it.
  3. You probably could with a very slightly lower offset wheel, Eric.
  4. It'd be worth doing your own checks for rust, just to be sure. At least then you know in your own head that it's rust-free, and if it's not you have an idea of how bad it is and if you have to do anything major about it.
  5. Ease up please, Lachlan - not everyone knows everything as soon as they sign up on a forum... It was a legitimate question. And welcome to the forums, Anthony!
  6. Another one from last week - quick shot while out shooting with MaTBoY:
  7. Here's another from from last week's shoot: I didn't get to drag my camera out this week, I spent more time instead helping Matt with set-up.
  8. Hmm, I was surfing Import Monster @ 4am this morning because I couldn't sleep. Sadly, the LED taillights I would love to buy are still way too expensive to justify, and apparently are a PITA to remove and replace with all the silicone sealant.
  9. Not a bad job, Glenn, considering that the DIN holder can be a PITA to get sitting right in the space available there. I know this, I bought one and got sick of trying to make it right, so I went to a plastics place and got an off-cut of polyurethane (for free!), then drilled it out. Where did you put your Profec? Mine now sits above the Defi controller where the ashtray used to be (haven't got a recent pic of both of them in place, unfortunately). Maybe one day I'll actually get around to neatening it up so it looks less like an afterthought...
  10. Shaky photo is shaky, Brian! OK, if you dig deep and do a search, you will find the manual conversion thread, but to save you some effort, here is where the G-sensor is in my car. Note that these are my own photos, but the conversion was done by the guy I bought the car off, so I don't know every detail about the job done... Handbrake mechanism, airbag sensor and transmission tunnel: Airbag sensor: G-sensor location under the console: G-sensor under the shifter surround: Oh, you will notice that you can still use the drink holders with little to no trouble of interference with changing gears, so the whole apparent reason for factory manuals not having the drink holders there is bullsh!t, in my opinion.
  11. It's not just the earliest day, Charlie - apparently it's the ONLY day available to us...
  12. I'd claim that first one to be me, but that would be a lie. My car didn't leave the driveway yesterday.
  13. Not yet mate, we've got a meeting tonight and we're going to see what dates we've been offered.
  14. Thanks mate, this was after the car locked itself. My flashes have a base that can rotate 270deg so you can pretty much point the sensors wherever you need to and still bounce the flash in the intended direction. It's just that they wouldn't trigger. Oh well...
  15. Here's a shot from Friday night while out with Matt and Kory. I'm not too happy with it because my flashes wouldn't trigger via wireless for some reason, so the lighting could have been a fair bit better.

  17. Awesome photos, Matt! There are quite a few in there you should put in the July photo thread.
  18. *shakes head* "No dedication, no commitment..." I, too, thought you'd decided to keep it.
  19. Good stuff, Dave! Good choice of wheels to keep the GT-R company in the garage.
  20. Yep, as stated by bluey already, it is definitely a worthwhile purchase - you'll not only learn to "focus with your feet," but you'll also think more about composition and get a better understanding of how aperture can affect your shots. Personally, I shoot only in RAW - the file sizes are larger, but the ability to manipulate the image in PP is much greater, and it won't lose quality.
  21. Do it, John! It's a great value lens and was one of the first lenses I bought beyond the kit lens.
  22. LOL, did they smack into the post, Sidd? Is that still near where we had Jason's Evo parked that day?
  23. Guys, let's please keep it on topic.
