  1. Mine actually left the garage tonight, and it seriously needs a good wash and detail. I'm thinking once it gets a decent layer of polish/wax, it won't look so filthy after the rain as the water should slide right off...
  2. Take it to Unigroup in Girraween, mate. Mark there will sort you out. Too much or too little play is a sign of possible future problems.
  3. Also, I see Duncan has replied in the PowerFC thread - his car and mine were both done at the same place.
  4. Ah yeah, I do remember having issues with that, now that you mention it. The conversion was done a long time ago, so I can't remember (and don't actually remember being told) what was done to fix it. I think when I had it done it was mid-summertime too, hence my requirement for working air-con.
  5. Yep, mine is pretty much exactly the same: 1997 S1 RS-Four V converted to manual by the previous owner, then I had the R34 GTt PowerFC with "secret squirrel tweak" done.
  6. The front should be fine, but the rears are different and you'll also need to account for the extra ~300kgs a Stagea has over a Skyline. Ring JustJap and get a set of BC's or similar. Once you tell them it's a 260RS, they'll tell you what's available and if they have other options.
  7. I spotted a gorgeous black R32 4-door this afternoon, around 5pm, going past Top Gear Carwash on Seven Hills Rd (Prospect Highway) in Seven Hills. Had BBS RS wheels or similar, and a P-plate hanging off the back.
  8. Agreed with Dale; massive thanks to the organizers and the guys from Nulon for putting the night on, feeding us and providing some goodies to take home!
  9. Looking forward to tonight. Now to decide between driving the Golf or the LOLvo...
  10. Hmm, might have to try it.
  11. Thread revival!!! Since my last post, I've eaten at Granata's quite a few times now, and it's always been an excellent experience. On the weekend, I ate at Lily's in Seven Hills, and that was really good too. They also do take-away and delivery for the local area. http://www.lilys.net.au
  12. Mine is bolted to the passenger side lower seat mount In the back.
  13. The best advice I can give here is ring around everywhere (or at least everywhere you think you can trust, given the previous problems you've had), and specify the exact size, speed rating and weight details you require. I'd also recommend Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres (if they're within your budget), I have them on my C34 and they're great!
  14. That's the same place, Luke - Girraween and Pendle Hill are side by side, so people often mix them up. There is a United on Fitzwilliam Road in Old Toongabbie that I use regularly, but they've never supplied E-flex. I was considering going E-flex on my car but seeing as it's only available at that Caltex (or was), I never bothered.
  15. I have the same splits in my car, and I'm sure I still managed to get the driver's side crossover in the door somehow.
  16. VR38DETT it is, then!LOL
  17. Actually, that's a very valid point. Just think about all the road deaths/injuries that occur when a car slams into the back of a truck's trailer. It's similar, but on a smaller scale.
  18. I once reversed into a bollard that was ever-so-slightly out of vision (not to mention that I was tired and just wanted to get home out of the heat), and when I got the scratch in the bumper repaired I used the opportunity to have the rear spoiler I'd bought painted and fitted. A few week later, parked on the street behind a ute in Parramatta to meet some friends for dinner, and came back to a decent scratch in the bonnet from where the a$$hole had reversed into my car and scraped it with the rear tray. Scratch is roughly 3" by 3" and down to the primer against dark green paint. I was so annoyed because had it been before, I probably could have got it sorted at the same time as the rear bumper and spoiler.
  19. That looks fantastic, congrats!
  20. Try using Kristian at Iron Chef Imports.
  21. Series 1 & 2 should be the same, there were minimal changes between them, and I don't think any of those changes would have applied to removal/replacement of the doors, door cards or speakers.
  22. Spotted a white s2 C34 on Andrews Rd(?) near Jordan Springs/Cranebrook area tonight.
  23. Yesterday and today, spotted a black s2 c34 in for a manual conversion @ Unigroup.
  24. LOL, compared to a bug-eyed WRX???
