  2. I was wondering where you were, and I even posted in your Build thread...
  3. These three are my favourite, especially the side shot of both the GT3 RS and the Cayman! I have to agree with Zennon regarding the very first photo you posted, part of the car seems a bit out of focus - maybe a smaller aperture would work, I dunno.
  4. LOL, Matt (God-speed), we were lucky in that where we placed one of the suction caps for the rig was right in the wiper's sweep area, so less drops needed to be edited in/out. Funnily enough, my car is very rarely clean for long, and almost never has been when we go out shooting (or for anything, actually, including the 2009 SnS), so I'm glad it doesn't show too much in these photos. Thanks again for doing these, Mr Everingham!LOL, Matt (God-speed), we were lucky in that where we placed one of the suction caps for the rig was right in the wiper's sweep area, so less drops needed to be edited in/out.
  5. Wow, check this video at 2:45mins in, that same tyre first lands and bounces off the wall behind some guy (in the light blue shirt/jumper/whatever) who had his back to the action the whole time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jnibRyrK-o
  6. Did it have black (or very dark grey/gunmetal) wheels on it, Ian? It might be the one I see fairly often on Targo Road.
  7. It's actually just as fun, if not more fun, when it's wet, as long as you can manage to keep yourself dry. I'm still out here and the rain has cleared.
  8. Indeed, she's a bit of alright!
  9. Saw a silver s1 parked at the McDonalds tonight on Parramatta Rd in Five Dock, the poor car was in a bit of a sad state...
  10. In other words, HSBC! Those desks look way cool! Too nice to clutter up with staff, pens/pencils, computers and other work-related crap.
  11. Dude, that seriously sucks. Did you tell your friendly Saab driver how long you've had the car on the road after your five-month search and wait? Maybe a bit of a guilt-trip will remind her to pay a bit more attention on the road (assuming that she was clearly at fault)... And yeah, you should still come out to see and meet us at Texi on Sunday, you'll see at least one of us LOLvo drivers out there providing either lessons on what (not) to do, or laughs, or maybe a combination of both.
  12. Agreed with Eric - Matt, that shot looks great!
  13. The fact that it has one reverse light and 1 (red) fog light means it was a car optioned with the Snow pack, and hence due to driving on salted roads is much more likely to have rust if it wasn't treated well, as others have pointed out. I, too, would walk away from this car. There are many well-loved cars available here from SAU forum members that will bring some added value to your purchase. Also, check out this thread for plenty of info that should help: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/92065-buyers-guide-the-nissan-c34-stagea/
  14. Chris, you are wrong - there were no factory 5-speed manual series 1 Stageas except the 260RS, and the only series 2 Stageas with factory 5-speed manuals were the 260RS and the RS Four S (with the "Four" referring to the fact it was AWD, not RWD only).
  15. Quick correction, SSS are in Girraween on Gilba Road.
  16. Sidd, Rhys and whoever else is interested, GoPro have a daily give-away for everything in one of their full kits. I *think* the only things they don't include are the new "LCD BacPac" screen and "Battery BacPac" Link: http://gopro.com/daily-giveaway/

    Wheels

Are those Do-Luck Double-Six wheels? I've always loved them...
  18. LOL, I saw your hand out the window for ages as you were coming up to the intersection.
  19. Spotted Tangents in his panda-spec C34 today in Seven Hills.
  20. There's a classifieds section here on SAU too: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/forum/56-for-sale-private-whole-cars-only/ Please read the rules before you make your post there, though: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/69225-classifieds-rules-please-read-this-before-using/ Good luck with the sale!
  21. Friday night I saw a white M35 on Parramatta Road somewhere between Five Dock and Ashfield (can't remember exactly where and what time). I saw a white s2 C34 parked on the nature strip out in front of a house in Penrith last night too.
  22. I thought that was the "golden" hour...
  23. Thanks guys! Very little PP work - straightened the horizon, changed the white balance to Flouro lighting (because it looked the most natural), and that's about it! Guess what I did? Being the dumb-ass that I am and in a rush to do things, I accidentally deleted all the images we took at Mrs Macquarie's Chair...
  24. Here's one of my shots from last Friday night when Matt, Kory, Sidd, John and myself met up: Sydney, shot from Ballaarat Park in Pyrmont. by GoldZilla, on Flickr
