  1. I'm pretty sure that's right - for some reason the R34 GTt seats are NOT compatible with R34 GT-R or any of the R32s, R33s or C34 Stageas
  2. Nah, Rhys, I'm not a fan of the wheels sitting outside the guards. The tyre stretch was pretty mild, so even though I'm not usually a fan of stretch, I could have dealt with these. Also, I've NEVER had any problems with the cops in over 5yrs of ownership, so I'm not looking to change that trend any time soon. Yep, they were actually about 1.5" at the wheel, and about 3/4" at the tyres. I loved the look of them too Eric, hence why I snapped some photos while I had them on. LOL, I wish dude! I made some very brief enquiries yesterday arvo, and it would be too much work without risking paint cracking, etc. However, if someone were to fund an R34 GT-R front conversion from MASA motorsports, then maybe the rears would be worth doing too... Oh, I've got a CPL, didn't think to use it, stupid me... And yeah, car is on the road - I blew a tyre about a fortnight ago, and have bought and fitted replacements since. Yep, Matt, such a shame they don't fit quite right. Maybe if they were in a +28mm offset they would have fit, who knows? I had to at least try them to check, right???
  3. Got this shot of the LOLvo today when I was trying these wheels. Unfortunately, the wheels do not fit - the offset is too agressive at +15mm on an 18x9" wheel. They stick out of the guards a good 1.5" front and rear... ...and I'm already running a fair bit of camber, which contributed to this:
  4. Dunno, not much info available. I looked at http://pmaaustralia.com.au/ too, but there's still not much info. I think it's just a general photography/video/entertainment show. It's free, so the only loss for whoever comes along is just the time and cost of parking.
  5. I can tell you one thing about what all the magazine/media reports say about the seating position - it does, indeed, suck. You feel like you're sitting ON the car, not IN it. I personally couldn't feel "connected" to the car when I drove one.
  6. Actually, guys, who wants to go to the Imaging and Entertainment Expo? Free tickets are available here: http://www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au/ and it's on 25-26 June. I'm intending to go.
  7. Met Dave (aka FLWLES or similar) yesterday at Unigroup, and as a bonus he helped Yavuz diagnose the idling issues with my car, so now we know what to fix! He has a white s2 RS-Four S.
  8. So, are we gonna have a model, because I''m currently reading this:
  9. I love what you did with the Coke can in the first two pics! Looks good!
  10. Liberty is a great car - much, much, much more refined over the Impreza.
  11. Here's my "unbiased" recommendation: Stagea! In the s2 C34 model, an AWD with manual is available but if you want RWD it's auto only. Plenty of headroom, and if it's still not enough just throw in some GTR seats. Oh, and most of your RB25DET Neo parts go straight into the s2 as well - same engine.
  12. Oh crap, that's not good.
  13. The ones we attach for midnight speed runs through "safety" cameras are the OzFoz ones, aren't they Terry?
  14. Congrats! Car looks really nice. What part of Sydney are yiu from?
  15. I'll be looking into the hoodies and I already have an idea in my head for a Stagea-specific hoody, as well as some for the major Skylines/GT-Rs, maybe even the old 240Z. And yeah, I'll be in contact with the current Qld President to see what we can work out. As for the thermal mugs, I've tried to chase them up before and they WILL be expensive, no doubt about it.
  16. Indeed, please use the search function - if a problem hasn't already been solved, there is at least a thread or two looking at what's going on. Oh, and welcome to the forums!
  17. Yep, L2NS is fine, but you'll need to have an L2S if you want to do any track days, so it's better off just to get that.
  18. Oh yeah, that sounds good! At your work would be awesome too, if it can be done.
  19. Agreed!
  20. LOL, looks pretty damned good considering how much you had to clone out, so well done! Seems as though the LOLvo will still be needed on occasion for some rolling shots, though, right? I'm gonna shoot my friend's car very soon, might try and schedule it for the weekend so I can at least have some sunlight to help stave off the cold.
  21. Also try Unigroup Engineering in Girraween (9631-2470) - there are a HEAP of satisfied customers here on SAU. But seriously, please read this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/228238-read-this-whos-the-best-tunerworkshopresprayerdetaileretc/
  22. Hey people, as you may or may not know, I'm the person who organises all the official merchandise for SAU-NSW, and I'd like your help with coming up with some new ideas for what bits and pieces we can explore next. Please have a look and post some ideas here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/363018-s-a-u-n-s-w-merchandise/ And yeah, if you have any Stagea-specific (or any model, for that matter) stuff you'd like to see, let me know.
