  1. Agreed, it looks nice! And yeah, you will need some big rims so it looks right with that front bar - not to mention the fact that Stageas (both M35s and C34s) just swallow those wheels up and can make them look small if you don't choose the right design and offset.
  2. And the RS, being only RWD, has completely different front suspension to the AWD RS4 and RS4-S too.
  3. +2 on what Chef said, I've got one too, and it's awesome.
  4. As already mentioned, Fountain Plaza after 8pm every Thursday, but ONLY if you're going to behave yourself while you're in the area. These meets have been going on for over 5 years, and it's a generally friendly crowd as long as you don't act like a clown. If you want to come in an show off with a burnout or ANY other idiotic driving, you WILL be reported to the local cops.
  5. Yep, every week there are at least a few people there. Word of warning though: if you act like a d!ckhead in or around the car-park, you WILL be reported. We've been using this location for over 5 years with little to no issues with the owner of the Plaza or the cops, and we don't want it to start now.
  6. Check this one out - a drift meet held State-side, but filmed through a tilt-shift lens:
  7. Bah, I've already got plans for all day Saturday, Mark, otherwise I'd come along and watch and snap some photos.
  8. Ahh okay, fair enough. Yep, still 7.30pm meet-up, then 8.00pm departure at the truck stop. Saturday afternoon hung out with StageIan and Helen, then the three of us went for a feed at Blacktown, where we spotted Alex CL11QE's car about 5 cars away from where I'd parked, LOL.
  9. Spotted Alex (PN-Mad) on Pennant Hills Road last night in or near Thornleigh. I was wondering if he was also coming on the Coastie cruise, but he didnt follow me onto the freeway, so I'm guessing Hornsby Westfields instead.
  10. Thanks Sidd. Re: the headshots, I asked what the "client" wanted and she said that she wanted to make the shots more personal instead of just the product by itself. If she gives me more work, then I'll definitely consider and suggest the full body shot, and maybe take photos in her backyard. The house she lives in is really nice, so maybe those shots with a shallow DoF would work, especially since the products are all made of rare pieces of timber and jewels. I've already got two flashes, but might consider some softboxes soon if I can justify the cost by getting some paid work or sell some shots or whatever. And yeah, I did have the flashes pointing up and back to bounce off the ceiling - maybe I shouldn't have moved them between shots...
  11. LOL, you don't need a new key, you need a new Mrs...
  12. That's what I was gonna ask too. If not, just turn the stereo up!
  13. It still doesn't solve the issue of getting the initial problem sorted though. Might be handy for afterwards though.
  14. That's bizarre, different colour for the engine spec compared to the rest of the build plate, and it still lists the transmission with the code for the automatic gearbox.
  15. Yeah, that sounds good, and that weekend is (so far) the only weekend I don't have something on this month...
  16. LOL, that cousin is one of my best friends, Rhys. And thanks!
  17. Thanks dude! And yeah, why not Sidd - some CC would be much appreciated. There's a chance I *might* work with the jeweller again in the future. (Check out MinkyGrant.com) I didn't have much in the way of lighting, unfortunately. An overhead skylight, on-camera external flash used to trigger an off-camera flash, and some use of down-lights later on as the sun started to fade, IIRC. Would have been nice to have access to continuous lights, but I don't have the money to buy them (and I doubt I could justify buying them even if I did have the money), and wasn't sure where to hire them from either around me or in the area around jeweller's house.
  18. Dude! It's my cousin's wife! So that'd be a no...
  19. Oh yeah, and Eric also pointed me in the direction of one from ArtsCow in Hong Kong, so I got one made up and the quality wasn't too bad. I rushed it and didn't quite get the result I needed, and the interface for putting the book together wasn't the best regarding user-friendliness, but the book itself was pretty decent. Oh, and all it cost me was postage! Anyway, seeing as I haven't posted anything for a while, here's an old one I quite like. Minimal PP in this one, but I like the potential it has. I might make it into a colour-splash. Edit: Damned shame there's a VL Commodore in it. I cropped it, but could only do so much before my own car disappeared.
  20. OK, here are the jewellery shots...
  21. No sounds or picture? Will they act it out too? If they do, I'll be in for that - it'd be beyond awesome to watch that!!!
  22. Indeed it was a good meet. Wish I could have stayed a bit longer, but oh well... We should do these more often. Who else agrees?
  23. NO WAI!!! I spotted them too, what a spin-out! What time did you guys (and one girl) end up staying until?
  24. All of the above, please?
  25. Bah, I've said this before and I'll say it again - someone come up with a design, and MAYBE the SAU-NSW Exec team will consider it...
