  1. OK kids, who is "mickeyinc" on the PSN? I've added them, but have no idea who it is...
  2. Throw in a bit of a wing and a prayer, it may help. Of course, the wing should NOT be frOm a flightless bird, and don't ask me which religion the prayer should be in. In spotting news, I've only seen my one of late. Oh, and everytime I play GT5 now and have enough credits to buy one, I never see any Stageas in the used car dealers either.
  3. See if you can find a 2nd hand lens in good condition. I bought my Canon 100mm f/2.8 from B+H and it was in mint condition - you could barely tell it was used! It's not an L-series lens, but I don't care. Cost me roughly $700 delivered, so if you can find one through them (or new), you'll be laughing. That's the lens I used for those bug shots. Plus, shipping from them is ridiculously quick - NY to Sydney in 3 business days.
  4. That drift biker is NUTS! Oh, and I've got friends in Albuquerque, NM. If I ever go to the States, I'll have to go and explore this track if I'm in need of an adrenaline fix. Might have to learn to drive a LHD car tho... And yeah, epic skid is epic! Notice the car had For Sale stickers on it? Would you buy a car after seeing the current owner treat it like this?
  5. Are you serious, Dunc? Wow, I would never have thought that a standard ECU would cost that much power. I'm guessing it was doing the usual Nissan rich/retard thing and that kills it as soon as it would get any decent flow of boost, right? I'm stunned that it would cost nearly 50awkW though...
  6. Matt, should you ever decide to get rid of those RE-30s, I'd like to know how much you'd let them go for, please! :worship:
  7. Yeah, I had a fairly late night on Saturday night, but decided I'd set an alarm and see how I felt when I woke up, then make a decision on whether or not to attend then. Woke up, still felt tired, but then couldn't get back to sleep for ages. In retrospect, I should have asked Ian if I could get a lift with him, then grabbed the camera and shot photos all day while passengering. Oh well...
  8. I'm runnIng 18x8 +30mm V35 Skyline wheels with 245/40 tyres and I love the way my car looks. I'm not a fan of tyre stretching, though, and I managed to get these wheels at a great price. Even better, my speedo is almost dead accurate!
  9. Thanks mate!
  10. I'll also vouch for these guys, they've both been awesome teachers in helping me with my photography skills, and I've learnt quite a bit on the few photoshoots I've attended with them. Date fixed to reduce confusion...
  11. Playing with the 100mm f/2.8 Macro: ..and some from Christmas Day's lunch: and again, Christmas Day lunch, but playing with the 50mm f/1.8 II
  12. Just remembered I posted this, but not the photos to go with the second half of that post... Stagea shots are up from the weekly meet-up to cruise to the Central Coast, but not the shots from the front yard the following day. Stoopid me!
  13. I feel like I just haven't taken any shots lately worth editing and posting, hence no posts from me.
  14. Nice one, Shanil!
  15. No, Corinne, the pig shooting bar will ruin it ALL for EVERY car in attendance.
  16. Oh well, it's a shame it didn't amount to anything, Brendo, but at least you didn't get caught in her trap. F'kin sucks though, because we could see how excited you were initially. Live and learn, here's to continued good judgement in the future, but even better if it does bring you some happiness, yeah?
  17. Three new events added for NSW, and one (the one posted above) for Victoria... C'mon people, get on out there!
  18. Pfft, I'm just a random dude with a decent camera! Serg, your panning shots are getting better and better, Matt's right about that! Matt, new website update looks pretty good!
  19. That would have been Alex (CL11QE). Stagea spottings over here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/53437-spot-the-stagea/
  20. 180, evil-weevil is NOT stating that these two workshops are dodgy, just that they may be able to help obtain a blue slip. Both places are reputable, and I seriously doubt either one of them would risk their reputation and business licences for the sake of some clown with an extra $50-100 (or whatever) on top of the cost. RBEE, if you really ARE looking for a dodgy/easy blue-slip, then asking for one on an online, public forum is pretty damned dumb. Here's something that everyone should think about: if you manage to easily get a car back on the road with an even slightly dodgy blue or pink slip for your car, how many cars do you think this same place has passed for blue or pink slips that aren't even close to road-worthy? This is why we have THIS thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/228238-read-this-whos-the-best-tunerworkshopresprayerdetaileretc/
  21. If you want some help in doing it yourself, that's one thing. However, if you're looking for advice on a shop to go to, please read THIS: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/228238-read-this-whos-the-best-tunerworkshopresprayerdetaileretc/.
  22. So, who's in tonight??? Oh, and one other thing: TEXIKHANA skid-pan day - first timers get unbeatable value in the way of entry for just $30!!! Link: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/350134-30-texi-entries/
  23. Well, as Ice Cube and Chris Tucker said, way back in the day: She's a good looking girl, so I'm wishing you the best of luck, mate! Soul-mates? Here's hoping - one can only deal with so much shit at one time, so to have something (or someone) to look forward to seeing at the end of a day makes it all worthwhile.
