  1. Wow, dude, it's been almost 2 months! What the hell? Even an amateur can tell that that's a write-off, surely mounting a median strip and wiping out that fence would have caused structural damage, not to mention hitting the other car...
  2. Yep, Dave, I'm pretty sure they're either the same or similar. IIRC, the only difference will be the sizes of the globes. I had my dash partly removed about 6 weeks ago, but didn't look at the back of it. It should only take about 20mins to remove.
  3. Pfft, Jay, there's only 732 photos to go through on your site, spread out over 31 pages... Christmas NEXT YEAR will have come and gone by the time we get through them all! Still, congrats on getting asked to participate in the Fringe Festival, that's pretty awesome! Oh, the winner of the 6th brief for the Canon Photo5 comp is being announced this Saturday morning on Weekend Today. I wonder if I'll even come close...
  4. Be careful when choosing the Kelvin rating of your new lights - as outlined here, Kelvin rating has little to do with the actual light output. Kelvin is a measure of colour TEMPERATURE, so basically how "warm" or "cool" the produced light is, not how bright.
  5. Probably just easiest to pull the air-con control unit out and take it with you to your local spare parts or auto-electrical place. Not sure about s2's, but IIRC from when I took it out to replace my stereo, there are at least two different sized-bulbs in the s1 unit. A few of mine are blown now, so I'll likely be removing it again soonish.
  6. Guys and girls, don't forget to let me know BEFORE lunch time Saturday if any of you have any special dietary requirements as above. The PM system is working now (this was incredibly bad timing, but there's not much we can do about that), so please let me know... Yes Dave, your food will be sprinkled with ground-up glass (can't afford diamonds, unfortunately), so you can fully appreciate the taste of the food as it goes down to your stomach! LOL
  7. +3
  8. That would be Teren, he hasn't been in here for ages!
  9. This is one of the posts that I wanted to quote earlier, but I can't remember what the other one was... Oh well. I agree on both of these points, having the sticky threads separate was great for quick viewing, and a "Quick/Full Edit" option would be nice. Other than that and a few other small gripes I can't think of at the moment, it looks awesome and is a lot faster to load than before! Good work, Christian and the SAU Admin team! (And has it really been almost 9 years?)
  10. Yep, that's something I'd like to see return too. If it can appear at the end of each person's post like in the old format (and not just once at the bottom of the page), that would make things a lot easier. Also, for some strange reason, I can't use the "Multi-Quote" option for more than 2 posts that I want to reply to/quote from. Bring on the new skins! Can't wait to set my page views to "dark" again.
  11. Awesome choice of music, Joel!
  12. Iain, started playing it today, it's pretty damned good! Some new features here and there, but I'm still in the early stages.
  13. Everyone has a different opinion of who does good work, how much is the "right" price to pay, and what they expect to get from their car. Please read this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/228238-read-this-whos-the-best-tunerworkshopresprayerdetaileretc/
  14. OK peoples, there is just over one week to go to this incredible event, so attached below is a menu as to what will be served on the night. As you'd be aware, you're paying for a three-course meal, so you get to choose one item from each of the three sections. As some people have certain eating habits, allergies and intolerances, could those in this situation please send me a PM as soon as possible, so that the staff know ahead of time what may need to be taken into account. Please include a full name for the person(s) affected, and what the dietary requirements are. (Please be reasonable, though...) dinner_of_legends_menu_1_.pdf
  15. If you're talking about maintaining a long life for the turbo, then 10psi should be as high as you go. I've got an EBC set at 9psi low and 12psi high, but VERY rarely drive on high boost.
  16. LOL @ Kory.
  17. Man, this thread is way too quiet. Oh and it always makes me hungry, regardless of if the last few posts contained chat about food or not. We need Sean, Cyrus, Mr ClownShoesTangles and others to start posting again.
  18. LOL, if it wasn't for him quoting 70 litres, I would have thought he was giving us numbers for his wife's Fiat, not the Stagea. And that would be some serious thrashing of the little buzzbox, too (the car, not the wife ). Getting a 70+ litre fuel tank into the little Fiat would be a feat, the thing is so small!
  19. Sidd, I'm guessing you are going to take off the stickers on both lenses, right? Also, can't you use a lightbox of some kind, even if you make one up somehow with a few flashes/strobes and white card? Or is this what you've already done, because the shadows aren't that bad. There are a few hotspots, so I'm guessing that with some diffused/softened lighting you could reduce those.
  20. If I can find something similar to that which can also be folded up for storage, then that would be awesome. I'm pretty sure there are some out there that do, it's just a matter of looking for and finding one.
  21. Agreed with Matt, your photos show a new perspective on ordinary things, Jay. I saw that, mate, I went to Hornsby and had debated taking my camera, and noticed the colours in the sky while I was there. Even if I had taken my camera, the spot where I could see the sky from was half-blocked by a big palm tree, and the window I was looking out was filthy...
  22. That 200SX - shame it's an s14 (they seem so dull to me), and the colour isn't to my taste, but the stance and wheels are awesome. I love the self-portrait reflection in the convex mirror, the post with the rainbow in it, and the "dark heart" shots. :)
  23. Seriously, can't the personal attacks stop for 10mins? Thread locked...
  24. I do, Mr Cass. Are you handy with a welder? Also, I need somewhere to store it.
